How Much Does a Rear Mount Turbo Setup Cost?

- I go over every part i had to purchase for my rear mount turbo setup and how i was able to do it for pretty cheap, you save yourself plenty of money buy installing yourself and knowing whats okay to be cheap on. The rear mount is a little cheaper and easier since you dont have to make custom manifolds and have to deal with piping in the engine bay.

Love the design, simple and effective. I literally came upp with the same idea for using the wastegate and vband adapters for my g37.

Glad I could help 🙏🏽
I've got roughly 5k into my rear mount on my ws6
Great video man, really great! I have a question about the oil/cooling - instead of pumping the oil all the way back and forward again, could you have your rear-mount oil pump/reservoir/radiator?
I had that same thought. You could definitely do something similar to a dry sump in the trunk.
What does the stock MAF tap out at? my car (02 Q45) has a maf and a map sensor so I'm wondering what fueling would be like at 4-5psi 🤔🤔
Is this on a stock motor ? I have a Revup 05 G35 coupe. And should i do the gaskets first
How does the car do in the rain or do you drive it when it rains at all?
what exhaust shop are you talking about? this is in vegas, right?
Did u lower Compression Ratio....? What is it at the moment...?
tight af
how can I fix the triptonic +/- mode on my G35 ? sometimes it works sometimes it don't. most of the time It doesn't
For real though^
This is a very common problem, the easiest solution is to just swap your shifter assembly with a used one that works, my g is an 06 and I’ve had no issues with this but I think particularly on 05s this is a big issue although it happens on all years. You can get yourself a used assembly for like 50 bucks on eBay and swap it out and you’ll be good to go
Great video thanks 🇳🇿
Appreciate it man glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏽
The sounds

I need a 340LPH to run a STS kit 😭
STS is like $2500 but need a 4.0L engine & up
You think I can do this on a escalade?
Of course
Yessir
dude, I have some feedback : first of all I hate your beard, it's just like mine and its hideous xD your car is cool and your rear mount turbo-thingy rocks hard AF
thanks for your content!
Hey bro can you send a list on all the parts on ig ?
Yea bro I gochtu
What’s your ig?
@@DGWhipZ I know this is 2 years old but do you still got that list I’m trying to do this on a budget
Did you tap into the oil pan?
For my oil drain yes, the upper oil pan I drilled and used a no weld 10 an bung since any space on the lower pan was too low and draining too low into the pan caused backing up issues
Would you recommend using a sandwich plate?
@@jakefinn9785 for your oil feed yes, I use the g plus sand which plate, you get really good oil pressure to the turbo from there, drain back high in the pan as you can
Okay sweet I’m thinking about boosting my mk3 Supra cause I put the 3uz in it and I don’t have room for a turbo up top so I wanted to do a rear mount just didn’t know where to start you honestly helped me out a lot man
@@jakefinn9785 glad I could help bro, feel free to dm me on Insta if you got any other questions as well, good luck with the build 👍
Wow this is not a bad price at all dude. Jesus
Some people have done it cheaper too, there were just some things that I personally required on my build and things I wanted to spend extra for, I believe Denny balance did his for 12 or 1300 before the tune
