Yo I need help with my beard. First time going long but idk how to sculpt it and keep growing... In my experience, i no longer trust barbers with my beard...wish there was a beard brand barber in VA.. HELP

Sadly they don't dispatch to Germany so we pay over 200 euros. And the new zero blade is not available anywhere for the European market.
This guy sounds like a mix between Kermit the frog and John C Reilly and I absolutely love it
😂😂😂 that's a classic.
Ray Romano
Fun fact me and John C. Reilly got the same birthday
THAT'S funny! It's very true.
@@jamescarrington5521 yeah we were both born May 24 but different year
I think this kind of trim is the one I've been waiting for. Trimming down the wispy bits on the sides without cutting off length.
Glad it can help!
-Ben
It's such a powerful trim that few will notice.
Same problem i have, bloody wispy bits.
Wispy bits and Tim bits, 2 things that cause issue for me 🤣
Eric out here lookin' like Obi-Wan Kenobi giving a beard trim tutorial.
Which Obi-Wan? Alec or Ewan?
I was thinking the same!
Eric before the trim - “What’s up on the other side of the internet”
Eric after the trim “It’s over anakin, I have the high ground”
I was thinking about Obi wan too lol
Haha
‘Don’t try it’
"Chancellor, Trimming is our speciality!!!"
3:00 thank me later
I'd say 1:24 actually. For me, I like to hear the rationale behind the trim!
Started growing my first beard in March...it wouldn't be where it is today without Beardbrand!
That's awesome, man. Keep on growing!
-Ben
Same here ...been growing mine since march...never had a long (ish) beard before but dev love it...i don't think I'll go back to short or dev not shaven lol
Oh, look. My beard goal. Great work on the trim Eric, keep on growing
This is exactly what I’m looking for. My beard is at a similar length and I just picked up the Brio. Thanks for the tips!
There's always something more to learn from you guys! Thanks for that! Greetings from Germany!
Thanks for the tips. Always great seeing you
I trying to my beard ever since I was able to grow facial hair but to not avail. I never under stood that there was more to just growing it ( grooming conditioning etc). I want to simple say that I enjoy your videos. It offers great advice on not just growing your beard but growing your overall character to become a more complete individual. I have started to invest in your beard products and I see the change just after a few day of use. Your products are amazing. I am very pleased with my purchase and I do intend to purchase more in the future.
Thank you @Eric Bandholz for this video and the coupon!
Had my beard for years and I finally figured out. On how to trim my beard the way I like
Im glad your glorious beard is back!
Thank you Eric for everything you do for us all! Love the info brother! Growing my first beard at 45 and couldn’t do it without
you guys!
That is awesome! How's it going so far?
-Ben
Beardbrand Alliance I’m about 5 weeks in but fighting the urge to cut the strays on my cheeks and mustache. Hoping with the Beardbrand products and patience those strays will lay down.
Hey Eric,
Great beard man. Just started growing my own and your videos are a great help. Cheers mate 👍
YAAAAASSSS DIVA!
Looking great!
Eric thanks for video . Always a beardbrand fan !
This was an amazing huge help. Thanks Eric!
Greetings from the UK, Great Vid Eric.. Keep on growing bro 🤘
Foolproof tutorial to avoid those horrible beard accidents where you just trim too much ruining all the progress. Great one Eric!
Thanks a lot Bro ! thank to you, I've been abble to get rid of the wipsy part, now it looks neat, nice and clean! Keep it up, best from France !
May the Beard be with you.. always.
Bro this is exactly what I needed and could not figure out how to word it. THANK YOU
Thanks Soo much for the mustache how to you dropped, it made a huge difference & I enjoyed it. 👍🏻👍🏻
Im such a big fan of you. You are awesome..
Your video makes me smile while i grow my beard.
Love you my man.
Nicely done! I've learned to work with 2 mirrors, of course a wall mounted mirror and a smaller hand held mirror I angle to check on side views for a beard symmetrical as possible.
Looks great Eric keep on growing
Nice job. Excellent! Eric, how is the Wahl Senior Cordless 5 Star for beards? I just bought one for home use on my beard. I want to use it to cut down the length whenever it gets to long, not for the shaping. I used an Oster 76 classic for many years but it finally broke. I also bought the plastic guides with the metal clips. Do you think that was overkill? And even if it was overkill do you think it will be great for the job? Just for cutting the length? My concern is not with saving $, I just want to use the best. Or do you have any other recommendations? Thank you.
Followed a combo if his and another guy because my beard was a bit longer and I’m so happy with what I got
Love the brand love the videos beard on brothers!
This was helpful, thank you 👌
Just gave this a shot on my quarantine beard, and it looks great! Thanks Eric
Glad this was helpful!
-Ben
Eric by the 6 mm part are you handling the beard brio with a open or the closen guard ?
Our facial hair seems like its nearly identical so this helped a lot, thanks :)
Much respect to eric. Self barbering is a risky proposition
I am not growing the quarantine beard but doing it for Kenny Rogers who had passed away months ago. Wish I could send you picture of my beard.
Great stuff, beard looks great! Just picked up that new large comb, can't wait to use that puppy!
Hell ya Matt! The new combs are so sick.
Eric Bandholz I’m pumped, they look amazing in the photos, can’t wait to see it in person.
I started growing a handlebar mustache and goatee combo back in August. First time ever experimenting with facial hair. It's been coming along pretty well but I've always had similar issues with the wispy stuff at the base near the neck that drove me nuts and just didn't look right. This video was an absolute gamechanger! Instantly improved the look without having to take much length off at all. Thanks so much!
Helpful tutorial, thanks
Do you put the guard all the way up or down on the trimmer itself when using an attachment?
Would you recommend styling the beard 1st or trimming without oil/butter
Great dude, great video!
👍👌 eric- have you ever tried the smile and cut technique with your moustache if you like it to end dead on your lip?
Eric how long should It take to grow a beard. I'm starting soon. I enjoy your channel.
thanks a lot EB , i really needed this
Glad the vid helped!
-Ben
Very nice, Eric!
Why no shipping out side of the u.s on the Brio? Over in Sweden we want part of it aswell.
You Sir are a life saver!
I shake a little so I get nervous about shaving my beard without comb lengths. I use the Remington Quick Cut Hair Clippers with Curved Blade with a grade 4 comb attachment. Also use it on my head at grade 2. It does a great job on the beard.
Good work Ray Romano
Another great video Eric! 👍
Glad you enjoyed it Aaron. Thanks for watching!
Inspired me to play guitar AND taught me how to shape my beard? Thanks Mr.Hetfield! 🤘🏼
Haha that would be amazing if James had this as a speaking voice
Definitely been having trouble with the sideburns feeling like they are growing outwards too much which makes my face much rounder. Gonna try trimming them a bit shorter and giving it more of a faded look like what you have going on. Nervous I’m gonna mess it up!
I find that strangers make more eye contact with me when I have a short beard than with a long one. Much depends on how much you smile, though. Great beard trim and haircut.
Omg! This look really sharp 😍
Great Job, Eric.
Thanks Sayan!
@@EricBandholz You are most welcome, Eric. Much love for you.
Awesome video!
Oh wow, this video is a lifesaver! I have that 'poof' that sticks down behind the front of my beard up front on my neck. Thanks for giving me PERMISSION to shave it, I didnt know if that was a mortal sin of growing a beard or not! Just trimmed that bit, feels and looks so much better! I used to have a longer beard, shaved it and starting over, so i'm just at 6 weeks now and yeah..none of that matters, thanks - love the video! :)

Ya, I was talking about the battery life on the razors. Very rarely do I need to charge it. Don't think I made it clear though in my comment. :(
Nice! Gotta say I'm struggling integrating my Chevron tach to the rest of my bushy beard...
Eric your my inspiration
Brio is an amazing shaver.
You did a great job!
Nice! Thanks, Eric. 👍❤
My pleasure Richard.
Hey Eric, do you know any good barber shops in Atlanta? What happened to the database you guys were making with a list of barbers who are in different cities? Love the videos :)
Didn't get a lot of submissions, unfortunately. So any database we'd release wouldn't be confirmed with their abilities.I don't know of any good barbers in Atlanta at the moment.
Eric Bandholz Gotcha, thanks for letting me know. I just saw that you were at stylecon in Atlanta a few times and thought you might know of some good places to get a cut.
You remind me of Dale Doback from the movie Step Brothers I think it's the voice !
Awesome video Eric. Thanks for the tips! I do something similar and also use a Brio! Still haven't had to charge mine and its been 7 months!
Mine finally ran out of it's charge after like 2 years. Of course it happened mid trim. Literally charged it for the very first time.
@@EricBandholz That's insane!
Sounds like John C Reilly, crossed with Fozzy Bear 🐻
It looks really awesome. I want to have the same beard style but I am so young that I don't have a dense beard 😕
Love my brio but the screen died about two months ago. Still works fine. Just cant see battery life.
wanna buy the trimmer but there is no delivery in italy... why?
Eric, just curious what speed you're cutting with on the beardscape?
I usually keep it on the slow speed because it does the job for me and helps the battery last even longer.
What the name of the stuff you put on your beard.
Thanks Obi.
Journey another journey. Haha I feel like this was aimed at me from my last comment. If so thank you 🙏 for letting me go on this journey with you. Journey
I still confused about the neckline. You free handed it but how? I saw somewhere that you just look in the mirror and everything see under the chin is what you get rid off. Is that what you did for the neckline? Thanks.
im glad that somebody who totally sounds like yoda is giving me manly advices
Great video. I don’t get how to shape my beard at all.
Ok, so is it supposed to be 1 or 2 fingers above the Adam’s apple? I did one just in case for my corona beard, and it’s getting a bit overgrown now. Thinking about trimming it a bit because I’m starting to look a bit homeless.
The sad truth is, once started the only way to end is with a clean shave! For most of us.
Where is Mahesh in Austin TX?
How do we intensify Shanab
Thanks Obi Wan. Was needing these tutorials
Glad they help!
Started growing my hair out for first time during this quarantine and experimenting with styling hair products including beardbrand..it’s a journey for sure and the attention/looks you get from people is cool and weird, haha.
Also letting the beard flourish and it’s close to your length...just not as full with a few patches...#beardgoals 😐
Woo - welcome to the party, man. 🎉 Depending on where you're at in the journey, it's common to navigate through patchy areas in the beard within the first 90 days of growing. Depending on how how your facial hair grows, you can work with different styling techniques to help disguise them. Either way, we've got you covered in the journey - let us know how we can support you. Cheers! 😎 -Sly
Great beard
This is pretty much the exact look I'm going for. I think I need a little more length though so I'm going to give it another month
Patience
@@DustinKeller81 I'm working on it. I've finally gotten pretty much full coverage at this point but it's too short to do anything with
thanks bro
9:00 first face you make while applying beard oil always
You have a cool beard
Sir one doubt
Is Beard heating damage our beard
Thanks
So similar to Carlos and his beard trim video
How do i trim my beard to this specofic beard style ? I want to do this for my own personal head shape
Haven't watched for quite a while, weren't you at one point afraid of losing your hair or something like that? Because I think they look really good in this video, the style suits you well!
I have that same beard!
the voice really kills everything else :D .. watched a few other beard videos .. volume was fine :D .. came to this one , and had to turn it down :D .. killer beard ofc :D jelly i cant grow that i can only rock the stash and a tee .. i was told tho that the less hair on top of the head = more beard growth .. u proved that theory wrong haha
Great looking trim....and nice blue/grey eyes there big guy!
Whenever he raises his eyebrows I am reminded of Toby McGuire
Very smart
