An experimental "cruiser type" destroyer with increased displacement. The ship was equipped with very powerful propulsion, making Shimakaze faster than the majority of her contemporary ships of the same type. Shimakaze was second to none in terms of torpedo armament. This is the most ridiculous battle I've ever seen. Beaches himself multiple times wide open, smokes up when he's in Hydro, and everyone is just pure potato
he also keeps shooting bow plating that he obviously can't penetrate and does not even try to aim somewhere else like Superstructure

Yes, his HE-shells can not penetrate the bow plating but it explode (without damage) there and set the ship on fire at 10:08.
You know what they say "If it's stupid and it works... It's still stupid AF but it does work", or as Jingles would like to put it "It doesn't take a good team to win a game, it takes a slightly less sh..t team", I mean you would have to contemplate the competence of the enemy team if DD is still in a game after making so many blunders.
and he has the gall to talk smack in all chat as if he didnt' have a 43% win rate in randoms.
Shima: Smoked up and launched torps even when being hydroed. GK: Died to said torps even when hydroing. This game has some amazing player base.

Came here to write this. Felt good that I wasn't the only one who thought this. Also, Pulls a Notser in front of the Hinden. One of those games I guess where luck just wont let go of you.

I got to that point in the vid and just had to turn it off.
I've never seen so many ships drive straight in my life. I main a shim and everytime i shoot torps the ship immediately turns. I've played my shim more like a gun boat then a torp boat in the last year.
I can't stop laughing at this absurd game.
Detected by hydro, let me stay absolutely still and pop smoke, that's surely the right thing to do. The fact the shim even got a single kill is a miracle.

Some of the worst Shima play turns into a great game; where are these no shooting, straight driving potatoes when I play Shima?
Four minutes into this rock/paper/scissors exercise I found myself humming to myself "She'll be coming round the mountain when she comes".
This would only be impressive if he was playing against actual players, even then im pretty sure bots show more skill than this
Very lucky game with a whole bunch of strange things happening that would make flamu lose his mind. Was any else wandering why the player popped smile while in hydro and I literally yelled "WHAT THE F@#$!" for ignoring the 1 shot Khabarovsk 😂. Entertaining footage indeed. Да нифига. Встречались такие топоры, и не один десяток раз, а потом в чате наговаривают, мол не мой акк. Как вчера блин, два года не играл, и зарегал новый акк. Ну пошёл в бой, правда сразу на баграте. Ну и настрелял по старой памяти 150к. Так там исписались, мол контрибьютер я. А сами как дурачки на линкорах от меня пятились. Отсюда и вывод- раки(у красных) + скилл = победа.

Шима не выключает ПВО, палится самолётом, ставит дымы под гапом, нагло катается перед Тандыром, пускает торпы, потом стреляет по той же Тундре под ватерлинию фугасами... Курф просто решил торпеды поймать бортом, устал наверно.
I use the 8 km torps on my shima and and love them.
Nub had a lucky match. Pops smoke while radared. Beaches in front of an enemy cruiser at 4:57 Guy was OBVIOUSLY speeding up here (shoots recommended anyways) and as a result hits only one on the stern. Shoots the recommended line nearly every time (meaning the opposition were taters), proof is his 43% win rate.

On a good day, I can get a Shima game like this, where people don't avoid your torps. On a bad day, players keep avoiding my torps.
It’s all about torp angles just like main battery firing angles for BBs. Good players are hard to hit but there are enough bad players that don’t realize you have their side and are launching torps broadside rather than trying to land one when they are nose in.
The player is lucky, smoke up under hydro is the top of genius ) Plus most ships of the opposite team drives straight always which is extremely rare. It's jackpot bro .)

If my enemies were this bad id have matches with 500-600k but you know that wont happen, I play shima and as soon as im spotted the entire enemy team locks on to me, Priority target showed 9 players at one point.

Guy beaches himself, smokes in hydro... almost no one is shooting at him. o_O Torps from 10k and folks just drive in straight line, some don't even try to WASD when they have torps clearly detected. What is this? When I get detected in my Fletcher I get s....t flying in even from NC parked 25 km away. And this guy just sits there in hydro range detected, keeps pumping out torps and shots and he's invisible? Why I don't get enemies like this in my plays? o_O
This isn't unusual though sadly. Most people don't shoot destroyers unless they're point blank. They're small and manoeuvrable, most shots will miss, I probably won't kill it with my salvo, I won't bother. Except.... If everyone fucking shot the destroyer... It would be DEAD. I've taken shots at destroyers at 24km before, I haven't always hit of course but that's what focus fire is, you saturate the area, my shells occupy an area where the DD might be when they land, everyone elses overlap it. It's called Team and... and... and... Brain. But of course no one brain in WoWs.

Чуваку тупо фартануло. Играя с 20-ками на шиме (+ямамото + уникалка) он просто катался посередине и ни разу не встретил фокуса. На него тупо забили. За что боты и поплатились. Несколько раз его просто могли схлопнуть. По ходу ВБР подобрал таких же "игрунов", как и он. Статка 45.... Ну это, мягко говоря, плохой игрок. crushersv, если чо. Звезд с неба не хватаю, но можете проверить по прошипсу - играю чуть выше среднего.
А где ты там 20ки увидел? Там видно же что у него 12 км

Gotta agree with most of the below. This looks like an absolute potato game. This isn't to say Shima did badly. Not by a long shot, this is immensely fucking impressive by all regards but some of these reds are literal turnips.

damn destroyer !! now this game has been ruined by updates to the dd's, no citadel, very low damage from cruiser or bb's, torpedoes with exaggerated damage and very low torpedo reload, now random battles with matchking which is shit, are in the hands of the dd's, who decide the fate of the battle! Please stop playing destroyers
Lol you're crazy. This an original ship that basically was never buffed. If you don't like dds, then stop camping the back in your battleship and play a cruiser with hydro and RPF.
