An experimental "cruiser type" destroyer with increased displacement. The ship was equipped with very powerful propulsion, making Shimakaze faster than the majority of her contemporary ships of the same type. Shimakaze was second to none in terms of torpedo armament. The first and only destroyer of the Imperial Japanese Navy to be equipped with quintuple torpedo tubes.

That Seattle player is beyond bad. It's like they actively seek out positions to NOT be able to help.
great game, well done. This is one of those games that fall on the circumstances of having clueless players on both sides in the right places, especially the red CV who ignored you, a Roon without a clue of how to drive or use hydro, a DD who runs from you instead of finishing you off. The stars aligned, especially in the beginning when you rushed up and while admiring your torps with the Z key, got briefly stuck. No radar. You should've been dead. But hey, that's WoWS. Great torpage and positioning. Excellent finish!

Good carrier support...these last two muppets should've stayed AFK.
Would love to have seen the red teams chat....screaming at the cv to spot him. lots of big fat targets, no 12k radar and ignored by planes....perfect storm. got to give the one DD comps for at least trying to counter him.

Глядя на вермонта с сиэтлом, захотелось убить этих игроков лично и с особой циничностью. Я понимаю, что возможно за рулем сидели дети, но ведь они как-то дошли до 9 уровня? Водитель шимы молодец, хоть и везло ему во многом.

If you want to see one this is a real talent. He knows who could detect him with surveillance radar and if there is no one, he goes directly towards them and torp. Taking risks and support his noob team with honour.
this was the best division I have ever seen. CV is good DD is awesome.
Good of Roon to not use his German hydro ..... EVER and just eat all the torps. Why cant I face players like this?! Also good of all the players on the flank including the new SUPER CV to just totally ignore a Shima and just give it free range.

Salvo at P.R was nice but that conqueror should see them and turn, or that Yamato, he saw smoke and knew that shima was there but still decide to swim in one direction... Or that salvo at Vermont, that Roon and Conqueror should see them and turn, but they didn't and they got smacked as well...
