For those who don't know what an ITB is... it means "individual throttle body". The throttle body is what contains the actual throttle, usually a butterfly valve which controls airflow to the engine. Most regular cars only have one throttle body for the entire engine. Sports cars often use multiple, this Maserati has two. ITB means using one throttle body for each individual cylinder, which improves throttle response time.

They tend to stick, finicky to tune, and throttle response is way different. But a roller throttle body has the best of both types, same response like the butterfly, but with no restriction on full throttle like the slide.
