Even camo'ed, I can still see massive black "diffusor" on the RS3. Probably even bigger then on facelifted S3. All of the sudden pre-facelift fake rear bumper grill looks good if not better. When will car makers learn that people don't want half of the bumpers beeing fake piano plastic

Yea, the c7 rs6 has the best fake diffusor imo, the newer audis just have it overdone

I'm guessing the Lucid Air Sapphire is somewhere around Taycan Turbo GT laptime, maybe faster.
7:35/7:40 for RS3 is fast, considering they're not yet having timing beacon, right? Meaning it could be 5s faster without problem.

Not even close, if they had any chance, they would have done it...
without track focused tires (*like Cup2r, Trofeo RS, etc) and added aero like Turbo GT + maybe weight saving(*like rear seats deleted) i think impossible Lucid to match Porsche lap time,,
'cause the production version of Sapphire only Run on Michellin PS4s and maybe almost 200kg havier compared to Turbo GT,,, despite it had 200 more HP,,
it could faster than PLAID but i doubt it will match Porsche lap time,,

Compact cars used to be really light. What prevents a brand from making a light compact car, widebody, fatty tyres, and big AWD power?
Let's use the Bilstein GT4 as an example. A light compact car could be a bit lighter. It could have a bit more power. The chassis would be slower, and the tyres would be road legal so not quite GT4 level. Downforce...a Vulcan Alpha special for a limited series.
You just need to commit to making the car light from the start. Manual seats and window, small radio, no A/C, hemp sorts roof, bonnet and rear hatch, 2 doors, all the racey stuff. Imagine Dacia did this with the help of Renault Sport and Nismo :-D Extra cool would be if they made an efficient hybrid system. With that I mean that it is high power to aid acceleration, strong recharche off throttle and under braking, for a low added weight that help reduce gearbox complexity (3 speed automatic would be epic and effienct). Skip the transaxle, just two motor on an axle for torque vectoring. And yeah, I'm crazy so I'd make even that compact car a fan car. Lovely use for a gear tunnel

BMW i3 was the lightest BMW for its entire production run, and full-electric. Awesome car.

no, nothing is faster than the 5n; that's the fastest thing in existence!, it is the embodiment of what a real sports car and a driver's car is!, there hasn't been a faster car and will never be a faster car than the 5n!, it is the absolute ultimate expression and intention of real sports car driving. Colin Chapman would be proud and would applaud with 3 hands!, it is simply the best there is!
