Wife calling in the middle of the lap, camera shutting down, yellow flags. Everything went wrong this lap, except Alfa. 🎉
FOR ONCE haha **hides away**
@@mgcharoudin😂
Instead of the alfa bugging out its all the other aspects of the lap lol. In all fairness I love the alfa's I'm just scared of them.
keep in mind this car is partially Ferrari… so if it breaks you PAY.
@@mgcharoudinMisha, I'm 67 and looking at my first (long overdue) Alfa and I'm SHOCKED by the numerous stories of extreme reliability across forums. Yes the JTS has problems and the 156 series suspension IS made from chocolate but otherwise extreme reliability.
Watched the wet lap an hour ago and wanted to see a dry lap so bad. The timing is crazy
Car is literally my forever car. If it ever wears out, I'll get a new one. It does everything well. Carries the kid to daycare, the groceries, then destroys anything that tries to compete at a red light or in twisties. Also drop dead gorgeous. I think it may be the most perfect gas powered sedan of all time.
seems like Misha really enjoyed driving this beast
I did!
@@mgcharoudingreat taste .
The Giulia is such a nice car! Even the Veloce Q4 (4-cylinder, 2 liter 16V turbo, AWD) with 280hp is a blast to drive. So nimble and agile because of its excellend weight balance ratio. Pure emotion!
Me and my wife bought a new MY22 Giulia Veloce Q4 in december last year and it's by far the best car we've ever had so far. The overall quality is suprisingly good. Misano blue, red brembo brake calipers...
You fall in love every day and every trip is a pleasure! 🥰
u can for 2k USD give it 400hp... just another turbo. easy. plug´n play..
@@northzealand you can?
I'd pay for a Misha Nurburgring party bus experience.. if i could afford to even get over there
Where ya at, brah?
Boring
If u anywhere between northern Spain and Belgium we could arrange that 😅
That party bus better have carbon ceramics and a racy suspension setup
Same situation as you lol. And I would love that. I live in finland btw
First time driving the Giulia QV, I hit 100mph in like 3 secs from a rolling start and it was insane. The amount of instant boost it has beats a lot cars with more power off the line. Plenty of Mustangs make this much power but they don't pull like this car does. This is a Ferrari with 4 doors.
enzo ferrari used to race alfa romeos
it's not all about power... to develop this car they indeed borrowed people from Ferrari. The engine itself is derived from a Ferrari California v8. Suspensions, weight distribution, fast steering, light drivetrain, and most of all lack of weight are the advantages of this car. Infact, unlike the heavier German rivals, it doesn't need to be as stiff, meaning it's a more pleasant daily driver (even on 19 rims). Too bad this will be the last of its kind before Alfa will have to go electric
@@665Thunder which means owning one will be special as it becomes a time capsule
I sometimes wish I bought the QV instead of the 4 cylinder. $25k difference seemed bigger at the time though.
@@AlokSomani Same here! We bought a new MY22 Giulia Veloce Q4 (280 hp / AWD) in december last year. The car is just awesome in almost every aspect and the 280 horses are more than enough for a daily driver, but from time to time i say to my wife "Honey... we should have taken the Quadrifoglio!" 🤣
As someone who owned an F80 M3 and now an owner of a QV, Misha is 100% right. the QV is such a better car.
100%. Loved my QV until it turned into a lemon like so many early ones... Begrudgingly went to a f80 after (at least it was a 6 speed tho!)
@@js002003hey bud what happened to the alfa, how much do do they sell for with seized engine?
I bought a second Giulia QV in the past 5 years. First one was a lease 2017 and then I bought a 2023. this is the Best car ever developed. no car ticks so many boxes at the same time. Period!!!
After the Wet Lap, Misha listened to us, thank you so much! But again, the Nurburging gods were against us and it was a "very yellow" lap! hahaha, let's hope for more Alfa Romeo Owners to hop on this channel! Thanks again Misha!
...and lots of 'sticky' traffic.
Very fast car, it was the fastest 4 door on the Nürburgring when came out in 2016.
Not to mention they did the record without rollcage added on (for safety but also improve stiffness) like a most manufacturer did.
My favourite onboard of the year so far. FORZA ALFA ROMEO 🍀🇮🇹
😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Tf are these clowns laughing for? They probably drive a renault clio
😂😂😂
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Bro the way this thing accelerates from 100MPH is unreal. Misha is completely unfazed lmao
i was thinking that too like damn barely any noise considering its rocketing up to 160mph on the straights, impressive.
Unfazed probably because he's used to much faster cars.
@@iamatlantis1I ride motorcycles and this thing might be liter bike quick
I have a QV, remapped running meth, around 600BHP! Currently living in France looking to drive to the ring next summer. Woukd love a lap with the main man Misha ! ❤
Driven this car twice and can't realize yet how good is to drive. Alfa Romeo is still goat when it comes to driving pleasure to me. Awesome driving by yours
I believe that's the Lynk & Co 03 Plus, I believe they shipped it to Nurburgring to do 100 laps.
Amazing car, honestly.
And they did do EV but not everything they sell are EV, and they also sell EV as Zeekr now.
the extraordinary is that
these two guys
are in a car with more than 500 hp
that are very difficult for rear-wheel drive
on a hard track
and they are ..... pleasantly chatting
while exceeding 260 km/h
this is incredible
Famous last words, "The traffic is being good today" as they all perfectly get out of the way, then on cue straight into a queue on the road with a whole host of cars. At least Alfa's are still in the business of making pretty performance cars, I hope they are always gonna be a "bit special" and remain a niche machine, not a mass market common mans item because even as a biker Alfas make me smile when I see one.
I would have had no appreciation for Alpha if an old housemate didn't have an Alfa Sud that I was allowed to drive. One of the best drivers cars I've been in, to this day. They definitely fly under the radar!
Gotta love the giulia, every brand had it's isseu's back in the days, so did alfa... glad alfa showed they still have the racing pedigree and emotion it all started with🍀
YES, Something you can't spec in a German car - emotion!
The car is so silent and runs so smooth. But when you look at the speedo, over 260 km/H at Schwedenkreuz or 250 Fuchsröhre, you see how fast it is!
"yesterday we had to go on the gas tomorrow and the car would still spin yesterday" was an amazing line to just be conjured out of thin air
Notice how the steering is so direct and he makes litttle turns and can really feel the car in his hands, amazing
Like Misha said, if you are a petrolhead, you have to love this car. It's a weapon, it has everything.
Misha got Alfisti heart..Forza Misha Forza Alfa
This car's turn-in is so damn crazy good. Overall very nimble looking car.
I wonder how that tuned white BMW M3 would perform against this true italian stallion on dry track and Misha should make another lap test.
Misha is phenomenal but there was a lot of traffic jam and road works plus various GOPRO failures.
The Giulia Quadrifoglio is a really fun, stiff, fast car which I have had the opportunity of three laps test on a racetrack in Italy. That ZF transmission is a true masterpiece.
No competition between giuliaQV and M3
The lap begins at 3:00 and ends in 11:47 that's 8:47 minutes. It is crazy fast and I think that car is more than capable to hit 7:30
This brittish guy should be more on this channel! He is a awesome sidekick to Misha 👍🏻 He like good cars, talks about interesting stuff, he is calm in high speeds etc. We want more of him 😊
My current car ( qv ) chasing my old car (e92) !! both amazing cars but very different cars. Qv is a much quicker car, which is saying a lot as the e92 is also a beast !
That's just a wonderful car, in the top 3 saloons of all time for me.
what are the other 2in your opinion?
You are our hero Misha :D
Your profile picture doesn't work
Thanks mate. This was what I wanted to see after the wet lap. Congrats ! Thanks to the owner as well !!!
MUCH Better. Glad we got to see this. Thank you for doing it again. Its amazing how powerful it is with some of the top cars you have driven but its a 4 door and its pretty quiet.
The exhaust note isn't that quiet to me, but if you want more there's a resonator delete available and it's pretty cheap.
Those huge paddle shifters must be really nice while driving on the track 👌
Nah, I find them annoying because they aren't following the steering wheel
@@mgcharoudin Misha has spoken! Wheel mounted > Column mounted it is!
@@zhaoyangxieor whatever YOU prefer😂😂
they are larger bc they don’t follow the wheel😂
This is so funny to hear because so many car reviewers who don’t hit the track say they prefer column mounted paddles . I’m pretty sure I know who to listen to now lol
jesus christ this car is so nimble and its acceleration is immense. you'd think it'd taper off eventually but it just doesnt!
A dry lap with the Giulia and a karaoke duet, getting spoilt today! 😁
See... the tires actually did hold up soooo much better now. The Good Years weren't near the temps needed to deliver some grip on the wet run.
Nice to know.. the revised Giulia Q has a ZF plate LSD installed. The one in this Giulia is the electronically torque vectoring diff with two clutches. It overheated quite quickly and became very grabby or opened up fully. With the ZF that should be solved.
This car is a dark horse on the ring, when setup well it delivers.
His wife is calling😂😂😂. They always call in situations like these for nooo reason😂😂.
Fantastic lap🎉
The automatic transmission program is pretty aggressive in auto mode. It holds the revs very high and adds to the experience with all the drama it brings.
Would love to see alfa make a two door coupe of this car
The fans have spoken and Misha has delivered once again! Top notch stuff matey. Thanks for the quality content and I'm happy to see your channel is growing exponentially. Well deserved 👍
Mischa waving hi to his neighbor like they are on their daily commute from work. Oh wait... 😂
That car is a beast!
Yet refined!
Hope it’s reliable 🙏
Great car,great engine,.Forza Alfa Romeo❤
I waited for this video so long! Thank you Misha 🎉❤
the gulia qf is just lovely
9:36 FYI, that is a Link&Co 03+ Cyan edition, a team ship it over for their 100 laps Nurburgring challenge. I believe the car is mostly stock, (including the spolier), or with minimun mods. Link&Co manufacture mostly petrol cars and some hybirds.
No one is interested in cars from dictatorial countries such as China or North Korea. Sitting in their cars, you can smell the putrid odor of the Communist Party dictators, and the scent of the blood shed by people fighting for freedom and democracy.
@@ilikeportland Reply to every comment, what a failure you are in real life to belittle other people's work on the Internet in search of existence😅
Absolute beast this car! Nice driving too!
using the snaps to align the video and audio. Thanks for the unexpected video editing tip, Misha!
love your vids bro, and love the camera setup in this one
Riding in a Quad, singing Backstreet Boys. Legend.
Hey Misha, it would be incredible to watch you make the engine of an Alfa Romeo 155 V6 TI DTM sing at 12,000 rpm!
Loved this. Thanks for sharing.
The owner was on the piss the night before :)
What a composed car and of course the driving style also Mischa.
Very good, stable and beauty and of course Misha made the most of it. Nicee!
Giulia, I am your Romeo
These two videos made my weekend ❤
That was a decent lap considering the yellows clear lap I reckon that could do it sub 8 mins once again a cracking video thanks man
Gearbox is surprisingly quick and smooth
Been waiting for this!!!
fun to see a dry lap ! good one!!!
Oh yeahhhhhh Dry! Misha that face says everything, well done!!!
Love the owner! Proper chilled dude.. Proper petrol head
Really enjoyed that one also Misha. 👊
I lost it when you mentioned the Brooklyn 99 episode with the criminal line up LOL. Doug Judy!!
Perfect timing
we asked, he delivered, Thanks for the awesome content the last weeks
Amazing car, I like how the record lap car sounds
Wish more manufacturers would copy the paddles like theirs.
They have BIG shift paddles and they are not on the steering wheel but the steering column and don't move.
They stay at the 3 and 9 o clock position.
Hahaha, Just started watching the video by thinking ohh @Misha is taking my favorite car to the Ring, and he came up with a funny Brooklyn 99 scene that I love. This guy is full of surprises...
Thank you Misha.
WOW tnx for this video this is BIG
Thank you ,thank you,Well Done!
Yep. That episode of brooklyn 99 was hilarious misha 😂
But on a serious note, that giulia is very capable in the dry. Fantastic car!
What minute😂
Right near the start of the video. About the 1 minute mark
That was such a freaking cool lap at 240 guys having off the track chats 😂 and then his wife called in like they doing it on daily basis activity stuff
You can really tell the skill level of Misha when he starts gaining that white BMW pretty fast in the corners. Only got away again because of the straights 😅
Always loved this car, great to see your drive it, hopefully you get a gta-m to test in the future 👍🏻
My main take away is that some time between my 17-plate and this 21-plate they added the ability to keep the digital speedo up while in Race mode. Mine just shows which gear you're in instead.
Looks like you had fun!!
What video editing software do you use? Depending on the app there should be a way to flip the rear footage so it effectively emulates a rear view mirror so it doesn't look funky anymore.
This car is amazing 😮 , smooth acceleration , it would be cool to see a lap time without traffic . No sense of speed true the camera its crazy .
Great stuff, next do the Stevlio to compare!
Absolutly perfect car!
That was awesome. A lot of traffic. Happy you posted the dry lap. That bmw was your only competition and I feel if it was just you two that you would have taken him. Excellent driving mate.
no chance. The BMW was clearly faster once the traffic cleared.
@@TML34 misha had more speed on the corners. And most likely a better driver based on the footage. As I said. Them two from start to finish. I’m confident misha would have taken him/her.
The BMW was flying, you could read the disappointment on both driver and passenger faces.
@@TML34 actually I was soo pissed because Misha was catching him soo fast but the track finished 😕
Sorry guys, we must have all been watching different videos. 🤦🏻♂️
Knowing Nothing about Modern Alfa's that was IMPRESSIVE despite the crappy roadblocks and cautions and with a relatively stock car :-)
Loved the Lap!
All you need to know is: the chassis talks to you, communicates to you - even at 40kph....... SOUL on wheels
@@lucylovitt9583 Seems Alfa havent lost their soul then, My first was a Sud and my 2nd and third, Played with a few Alfetta etc and apart from previous neglect and abuse once sorted they would "Speak to You" for sure. They were also WAY better than the RHD Fiats I played with as well as my short time with Lancia's and the Beta Coupe disaster :-)
Best part is Aussies are afraid of Italian Cars sooooo prices remain low.
same in North America - they sneer at Italian cars. But they love their F150 trucks.@@tony66au
Ok, that was the most straight face "woo-hoo" I've ever seen so far.... Misha got mad at that slow traffic😄
I don’t know why in italy a lot of italians speak badly of the Alfa Romeo and in the rest of the world a lot of people love the Alfa Romeo. I have a 1983 GTV, but i love every car brand. Thank you to all Alfa lovers in the world ❤️
And thank you Misha for these Last two videos ❤️
Perché siamo italiani appunto.. si parla male di tutto, soprattutto del made in italy.. è un po' come tirarsi martellate sul ca*** da soli ma va bene così
you will find that Italians tend to speak badly of Italy and italian things in general - I don't know why that is. English, German, Spanish, etc people seem to be very proud of their nations, but not Italians for some reason. Can someone explain that to me?
@@edombre4637 you're right. But i can't explain why🤷🏻♂️
I have a stock quadrifoglio with carbon ceramic brakes. I would love for you to drive it. How do I contact you for that? I strongly believe aftermarket suspension ruins the car. There's no actual engineering other than making it fit.
DM/Email
Yes please with good tyres and no Yellow flags 😂
Me too, also stock and ceramics and carbon seats. I also believe with the right and young tires the lap with the original car would be more what the people want to see. They'll want to compare with other cars. That's a video I would like to see.
Yes, great, make it happen guys, everyone would love to see more Alfa Romeo's please!! 👍
I believe exactly the same! The Giulia was born to be dynamically competent with the stock patented aluminum suspension and the perfect balanced chassis.
IMHO, messing with this setup has a very high probability of making it less competent.
Misha you are the best!!! I see you from Greece 🇬🇷
Lovely job...driving by the fingertips 😎
7:15 the guy in the BMW must have been very happy to overtake the Giulia Quad, not knowing he was able to, because of the GoPro malfunction.
He was faster anyway
@@DawidSzmandra How come?
Tuned?
I would definitely choose this as a ring taxi option if any, such a spark! (tbh I'm a Stelvio owner, my dream is to take a lap with Misha in it ;))
Funny, you guys going so fast and just general chit chat. You guys must to this shit a lot.
“So you need to catch a plane today, 7 o’clock?”
“Yeah…what’s it called…Eurotunnel”
Idle chatting at 160 mph through the bends.
The Backstreet Boys Karaoke hooked me up totally for this trip around the Ring. Great car.
I missed on my last comment, would love to see Misha in another serious Alfa Romeo, the Alfa 4C. Its crazy where the prices for these cars went up to in comparison to the Launch Edition or even first series of the car.
He did do a lap in a 4C....only thing he complained about was he lack of power steering made him work harder ;-) I know of a few 4Cs with mods that are very quick especially in cornering and braking. Mine is mostly stock with very minor upgrades. By far it is the most fun car I have ever owned.... and I have owned ALFAs before including a 1969 spider that was heavily modified.... bought that one new and kept it for over 40 years. If I had the garage space I would still have it in addition to my 4C LE. Also owned a 67 ALFA GTV SCCA race car for two years. You aren't a car geek until you have owned an ALFA.
Guys face at 4:52 tells it all.. :D
The intro is almost meme worthy, the most casual conversation whilst absolutely flying hahaha
Thank you misha
