One Correction: Central Asia was ruled by the Sakas(Scythians), Sogdians, White Hunas etc before the Turkic Khaganate invaded that region after 500 A.D. By the year 500 A.D, Sakas became history. The People who live in Xinjiang or Tarim basin are a mix of Sakas and Turk. The same with Central Asia. Turks used to live near Mongolia, most probably North of Mongolia. Timur was a Hybrid. That's why he learned Persian and translated Baburnama and other reliable sources himself. There are some sugercoated translations done by wetern and leftist historians which need to be corrected.
