Hello CZcams! In this video, we will show you how to fix your camera problem (integrated camera or dedicated camera) if it is not working properly on your PC and you get cannot find your camera/imaging devices in your device manager or your camera/imaging devices is missing from your device manager.
This fix contains all possible solutions to solving this problem with your camera on Windows 10. Moreover, this fix is meant as an easy and quick way to get your camera running again but it this doesn't work, the recommendation is to first restart your PC after all the solutions and fixes, and then try reinstalling windows. Meant for all current Windows versions: XP, Vista, Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and of course Windows 10.

I spent 7 hours trying systems restores etc. after an Intel Graphics (46?) recent update that did not go well. After trying a lot of different things, I tried the easiest step in your video. I pressed Function + F6 and my laptop camera came back from oblivion! Thank you!

Thank you so much!!! You solved a camera issue that was not allowing me to take a proctored exam at home! I am now able to take my exam even though the error read as a hardware error.
So if the tips from the video don't help, then I'll share something that helped me fix this problem.
First you need to go to your device manager. To do this you will have to right click on the Windows icon and from the list of options choose "Device Manager." Once you're your device manager, scroll down to the Universal Serial Bus controllers category. Click the arrow ">" on the left side of it and if you see a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in one of the things inside of the USB controller category, right click on it and hit "Update Driver."
A new window will open with two options "Search automatically for drivers" or "Browse my computer for drivers." You want to click on the "Browse my computer" option and it will send you to a new page. On the bottom of this page you should see an option "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer." Click on it and click on the device under the "model" window and hit next. And that should fix any issues you have with your Bluetooth, Camera and USB devices. Hopefully this helps!

My webcam's registry file has been deleted and when I install my webcam's driver it is not showing in the device manager and I have also pressed the shortcut key for my webcam but my webcam's driver is not showing how to fix it.

"Make sure your camera is turned on. If you have a newer model Lenovo laptop (2018 and newer), there may be a switch near the camera that either covers or opens the built-in Lenovo camera lens. If it is closed any app that uses the camera will show a blank image. Check this switch to make sure your camera is not disabled." I did this as recomended and it was a switch near my webcam I did not even notice and it fixed it!
Before searching for solutions, make sure your CAMERA FLIPPER is turned on, lol. I wasted more than 3 hours just to find out that my CAMERA FLIPPER was turned off. As I slide the flipper, WOLAA camera works!

Hi, thanks for the video! My easycamara is now showing up (greyed out) under cameras in device manager after I viewed hidden devices, but when I click on it, the device status says: "Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

I uninstalled the camera from device manager and carried out scan for hardware changes but the camera did not appear back. Checked in hidden items as well but no camera is showing. After that I did PC reset and still no camera. Then I watched this video and carried out all the methods as shown but still couldn't get my camera working. Should I take it as a hardware problem?
