When boosting new sheet do you take protective film off the rubber during boosting? I have heard the plastic film can prevent sheet from expanding hence needs to be taken off prior to boosting.

so this is a video from a chinese vloger, he sell table tennis equipment, glue and cut table tennis for people. This is a blade send by one of his follower, he change the viscaria handle to a infinity vps v handle due to this customer is a big fans of Fan Zhendong. He want the same setting as him. So the from is blue national hurricane 3 and back hand is butterfly dignics 05. The first layer glue he apply to the rubber is a dhs water base glue to protect the rubber from boosting, then he apply 3 layer of boosting oil due to this customer's request, he finish with another layer of water base glue to finish with the rubber. Then he apply one layer of speed glue to the blade to prevent the water base glue tear some of the wood from the blade. How do i know all that? I watch all the video about this blade from bilibili.
Mate that blade looks like a viscaria with stiga infinity vps handle? Your setup is the same as that of FZD. The boosting and gluing process was spot on and very helpful too. Thank you

It can make the sponge expand, obtain better elasticity and reduce hardness. The hurricane without this expansion oil is very hard to use. In China, players who use hurricane need to brush the expansion oil
So that glue doesn't go too much down the sponge.. it's ok if you don't put glue but the rubber will start to tear after few months ..which is ok if you have money 🤑

Why the first coat is glue? Why not just booster
the first layer is to protect sponge, you have to put first layer
