    I am a beagle owner myself and raising him was the toughest thing as there was hardly any beagle-specific information on the internet. So I took it upon myself and decided to share all the knowledge that I learned the hard way. In my videos, I cover all kinds of topics related specifically to beagles. So make sure to subscribe to our channel as I upload 2 videos every week.

    I was able to train my dog to almost look forward to when I leave for work by creating a routine saying, “Pond, I’m leaving” and giving her a daily dental treat. She loves them and eating them keeps her busy enough while I grab my keys and go.
    Now when she sees me putting on my shoes and prepping my bag she lingers watching until I’m just about done and when I tell her I’m leaving she goes straight to where her treats are kept and sits patiently until I give her one. When I pat her on the head and say I love her before I go she looks at me while chewing like, “yeah, ok, bye mom” lol

    My beagle, after the last walk of the evening, goes to her crate by herself. She waits for me to lock the door and then goes to sleep. She has no problem waiting until I wake up to be let out. It's her safe place. It keeps her, and our furniture safe. Beagles are the best!

    Just found out my 10 week old pup, Gilbert, is a Beagle/Great Pyrenees mix! Very excited to see how he grows; he's learning so well and has such a friendly, happy-go-lucky personality. Really enjoying your channel!

    You can also wear an old T shirt for a few days and leave it with them in their "space" when you go out. It has your scent on it and will calm them while you're away.

    I leave my beagle alone when I leave for work. She heads out to the yard first thing. I give a small breakfast and teeth cleaning treat before I go. She has the doggie door to access the yard throughout the day. She does fine and is used to the routine. I watch her take naps through the security camera. That's a sign she if doing just fine.

    We take our beagle for a walk before leaving. We turn the radio on. A tired beagle with music works.

    My beagle doesn’t miss me at all!😆 We gave him away cause of private reasons… And for the first time he played with a dog cause his new owner has one, he didn’t cry at all or miss us, he looks so much happier while we’re crying lol, but I’m happy he’s happier!🙂

    I needed that video today! I am super worried about leaving my 9 month old beagle alone two days a week starting September. Would it also be good to bring him to a doggy daycare or is it best to get him to learn to be alone? I am torn...

    • @brucewallace3053

      Beagles love daycare and it's good for them. Take him on day one and he'll likely sleep most of day two. Mine does anyway.

    Hi ya, I am about to adopt an almost 2 year healthy female Beagle name Miya who is just an absolute fun being around. However, I am worried about her facing separation anxiety from her previous family. I have spent 2 days with her and am going to bring her to my home on the 19th, meaning tomorrow. How do I make her feel comfortable in my home. Thank you.

    My beagle only gets anxiety when he is with me at work and I have customers who are scared of dogs. I will put him in a room by himself and this is when he will bark. If I leave him alone at home he is fine for a few hours with no issues.

    Not very often do we leave our Beagle in his create for more than 2 hours while gone, when I am going to be longer than 2hours he stays in it, I'm afraid of how he might be in our small mobile home with our cat alone. Should I be so afraid. It seems to be ok at this time,he's 6mos old...

    Is it safe to give my beagle a ice cream on my sister's birthday?

    • @Peekaboo_animals
      @Peekaboo_animals Před rokem

      (copy-pasted info) The high levels of sugar in ice cream are also no good for your dog. Even “sugarless” ice cream is dangerous because xylitol is toxic to dogs. In fact, ice cream with any sort of artificial sweetener is probably a no-good for your pup. Many flavors of ice cream are also potentially dangerous for dogs
