You’ll never go wrong by using any of Gordon’s recipes. A lot of them are recipes I use for my holidays!
Good thing that we got your approval!
His turkey is the only one we use.
Exept for his “grilled cheese”😂
except his grilled cheese sandwich
@@tjg9546 you don’t know how lucky you are to even see my post!!
We've used your Beef Wellington recipe every year for Christmas, Gordon!
You're a legend, I know we all can agree!
@Cemi Seriously? 🤷♂️🤦♂️
@Cemi I’m gonna try this year let’s see if what kind of delicious Christmas presents we’re going to get
xmas is pagan holiday .pagans on the 25 th have a festival called saturnalia which is celebrating the planet Saturn as the sun god. they decorate a green tree with red berries. santa is satan wake up
@@oneislam2719 works for us!
@@oneislam2719 Bet you're fun at parties
3:21 “ooooh God…. gently, gently” lol
It sure snowed before Christmas for Gordan Ramsey, so much energy lol
My dad used to make a wonderful ham gravy. I sure do miss my papa. He taught me how to cook. We had so much fun cooking together. The memories...
Merry Christmas Friends!
Merry Christmas! Make dad proud in the kitchen then! What beautiful memories you get to cherish

I found with the Turkey, mixing the lemon juice vigorously into the butter first helps it not seperate. Only a half lemon at a time or it will just swim, at least for me it did. I will love this recipe forever.. it's so good.
Yes! I’ve also used a lemon 🍋 and it’s definitely key.
I literally cannot fathem what a holiday with this Culinary genius would be like for my taste buds! This brotha appreciates food and a tasty/safe meal more than anybody I’ve ever seen. Great job Gordon! I got two little girls and wanted to get into cooking so I been watching your videos I’m just blown away by your passion
Thank you Chef Ramsay for those wonderful recipes. It'll be hard to choose which one I'll make. Merry Christmas Chef Ramsay to you and your family. You are the best and my favorite Chef. Your passion for cooking I admire and what makes the difference.
I have never made turkey in my life. I follow all these steps and I have to say, it was perfection. Everyone loved it!
I’ve been on a Gordon Ramsey cooking marathon and my family have never been happier. 🙏😊
I've used Gordon's Turkey, Gravy and Stuffing recipe the last 3 or 4 years and will do so this year again. Prefect Christmas Dinner
Hi! I have a question… when you put the turkey in the oven do you cover it with something? Like a cheesecloth or something? It’s my first time doing turkey so I’m kind of nervous
@@AnaRodriguez-fn4pk nope, no cover when in oven
@@AnaRodriguez-fn4pk If you're worried about burning, we place a *very* small piece of foil over top of our turkey breast when we bake it (that's not using Gordon's recipe though). If you're attempting Gordon's recipe it's best to go without any kind of a cover, it allows the skin to brown in just the right way.
@@AnaRodriguez-fn4pk no, the whole point is the juices from the bacon keeps it moist and stops it’s burning or drying out as does the butter
In this video his oven temp is in c°, does anyone know what that would be in f°? Also I have a 12 lb. bird this year, after the first 10 minutes in the oven before bacon is added what would the time limit on the second time in the oven? Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Listening to him talking and the food sizzling added up the christmas music in the background, now I'm very ready for christmas...😊😊❤❤
Thanks Gordon. I usually avoid skimming if I cook at a sub boil temp. Takes longer but makes for a clearer broth.
My son made this turkey today for Christmas. He made the gravy as well. It was so tender and juicy, and the gravy, perfect. It's so different from our traditional Southern style turkey and gravy, but delicious.
An instant Christmas classic! Loved every second of it!
3:20 Find a girl who loves you just as much as Gordon loves glacing that ham 😳
*“Be honest who else is a few hours late”😂*
Cringe. Checkmark
@@BlueEyes-WhiteDrag0n There is no checkmark
I made a slightly modified version of the turkey this last Thanksgiving. The first hour was smoked on the weber charcoal grill. Getting prepped for this year already. The long rest makes all the difference.
Just casually dropping the line about the glazed ham, "like an albino pineapple"
I'm fucking dying 😂
Merry Christmas
@AUDREY Gordon Ramsey makes good Christmas dinner 🥘 and Gordon Ramsey makes good roasted turkey with bacon 🥓 and hot gravy and pork stuffing and Gordon Ramsey gets credits from John Taffer and his experts and his crew and it’s simple!.
Thank you Gordon. My stepson and Daughter enjoy listening watching and mimicking your cooking. He's already is trying to cook. and he's 3.
What I loved the most was the way the cameraman made sure none of the shots ever really allowed the viewer to see exactly what was going on. It was always zoomed in super-close in soft-focus, or jerked around aggressively. Both techniques result in you having to imagine a lot of what Gordon is doing. Just what I want when I’m following a complicated recipe.
hahaha i so feel you! I'm trying to translate his bird weight to mine and the temperature of the oven in celcius to farenheit.. how much soft butter was that? How much olive oil is a tad? Wait!? Cider; is that alcoholic or apple cider? I know it isn't vinegar so I'm safe lol.. (maybe) The FDA said I can't leave my turkey out longer than 2 hours total.. that's a rush for dinner if the bugger is resting as long as i cook it lol!!! Hmm.. what else? I'm drooling and ready to try et.. Thank you Gordon.. !!! I love watching you.. and using your recipes always results in delicious heaven.
Merry Christmas 2021 even
Why are you trying to follow along with a youtube video instead of just looking at the recipe on his website
Thank you for all the wonderful content over the years Happy Christmas to you and your family.
I love cooking for one and bake a turkey in an oven bag. I put chopped celery, onions and carrots inside the bag as a nest for the turkey to sit on. I always used plain butter rubbed on top but will change to your flavored butter this year. I do like salt, pepper and rosemary inside. For me I like having all the meat fall off the bones and tendons, then rip into bite sized pieces and put in freezer bags. The veggies just blend into the meat. I fry up all the chopped giblets and neck and make a gravy with chicken stock, only taking out the bones, also freezable. Could you do a video of a cook in the bag turkey? 🥰☕️
I followed this recipe last year when I found it online and all I have to say to Gordon is thank you!
No you didn’t
I will have to try this
Were you amped up on cocaine like he was in the video, or is that optional?
@@billpeet1976He shows zero signs of being on cocaine
The Monet, the Manet, the Cezanne, the Matisse, the Picasso of food! He is an artist in the kitchen!
I made that turkey a few years ago for thanksgiving, Literally the best Turkey any of us has ever had.
This is the only way I will ever prepare my turkey ever again. We did it last year and it was the best turkey I had ever tasted, hands down.
this is the only thing that has me in the christmas spirit this year... i would fast for a month to eat one holiday dinner w/ him
This is a beautiful video. Thank you Gordon. I have seen your beef Wellington cooked on sorted. They had your food kit. It’s so good to see you make it. The music in the back ground made it feel like Christmas. So merry Christmas to you and your family love from Australia 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
"Gordon is ready to die and go to heaven" 😂😂😂😂😂😂 my all time chef😅😅😅😅
Cooked Gordon’s Turkey with gravy today, first time I’ve cooked turkey and it was so delicious and moist, the best lesson learnt was to prepare as much as you can the day before including boiling the potatoes ready for roasting. Thanks Gordon 👍
I once put a turkey into the oven at 12am, 2 and a half hours later alarm woke me up, flipped the turkey, went back to bed about 6am turkey done :).
Wow! This looks incredible. We have always used bacon on turkey as long as I can remember as a little girl in the 70s bu I have never used lemon. I may try it. Every single one of these recipes look delicious!
I remember mum putting bacon, criss crossed, over the turkey back in the 50s....I am 76 and still do it. Also I cook the turkey breast side down. All the juices etc, run down to it and it comes out really moist...
I always love it when you're standing there near the counter and then lunge toward the food like you're going to kick it's ass, then back up, and then do that whole thing a few times more. Maybe food tastes just a little better if you keep it on its toes.
What a comment
@@jeweltorkelson - Thanks! I may be a smartass but it's all in the holiday spirit.
Ramsay’s hands are magical, dainty, and detailed💋
I love your holiday recipes!! Can’t wait to do them!!
I made the Turkey recipe for Thanksgiving. It was really good. Worth the effort. Gravy was the best I ever made, too. I’m going to make this again.
I love that it's really geared towards being able to spend time outside of the kitchen!!
11:39 Even the dog knows not to mess with Gordon 💀
Imagine eating at Gordon's dinner table for Christmas! What an epic thing!
Beautiful!
Absolutely delicious
I'd probably have to stand up and walk around after every bite.
Hvala Gordon's na prelepom receptu i srećni ti praznici iz Srbije
Gordon you are a genius! All your food looks remarkable
@15:17 The Beef Wellington recepie is similar to my late father's. Instead of chestnuts he had pork liver paté. One of the best things I have ever tasted in my life. One day I shall make it myself, but that will be a long time off.
I just finished breakfast, and my mouth is already watering.
I made this recipe for Thanksgiving and it was EPIC! Thanks Gordon.
Gordon cooking videos + dinner = the best meal
I dont even celebrate christmas but I have seen all these videos 10 times.. amazing..
Brilliant recipe and instruction! Looks amazing. I wish I could smell it. What impresses me the most about Gordon is his unwavering commitment to excellence.
Cringe
Quick question - I’m going to do the Turkey recipe this year. When do you use the reserved juices from the tray - ‘fat removed’ doesn’t look like it’s used - but must be added, maybe along with the chicken stock?
Hope someone answers
Same goes for making any gravy with the meat juices, add resting juices, simmer 5 mins to reduce and enhance the flavour, then add your stock and further reduce to required thickness of your gravy, hope this helps fella. merry christmas!

"Look at it, almost like an albino pineapple." Lmao.
Wonderful video. Thanks so much! ❤️. Got to try the Beef Wellington! Definitely going to do the turkey :).
He really slapping that ham 😂😂😂
That he is & he showing that ham who's the boss in the kitchen 🤣. Plus that slap on that ham was very loud😅.
😂😂😂😂
A classic choices which gives good ideas for a meal since Gordon showcases how to make em all allure and entice one's tastes!
1:20 - Gordon's first noted usage of the phrase "pan down" 😂
I'm appalled that he didn't take a piece of the bacon for himself before tossing it in the pan, you always need your chef's treat!
This man is a genius. He chose to use his intelligence towards perfect cooking
Man I’m 12 and hate cooking
But I watched all the hells kitchens ( finishing the last episode of the last season tonight ) and kitchen nightmares
These are so satisfying to watch 💜
WOW, everything looks amazing and so tasty. You are a fantastic Gordon , thank you very much for sharing this all recipes. I really need to try it to do. I have occasion's to eat this ham in Ireland, and it is absolutely godets. yum yum. A very happy Christmas to you!

Ameera GAZ ... Probably because he buys the BEST QUALITY on the market. I can never believe how his raw ingredients look 100% better than mine...!

G: 'I recently spent a lot of time in India, where chutnies originated. And discovered that whereas British style chutnies tend to be cooked, and quite sweet, Indian ones are normally fresh, spicier, and quite sour'
Also G: *dumps the whole fucking jar of sugar into the pan and cooks the chutney anyway*
"It looks like an albino pineapple" - You can tell this wasn't filmed in 2021 🤣🤣
He makes it look so simple and enjoyable
Jay #1 ... That's because he is an expert. He always looks like he is soooooo enjoying it.
Then I try it with my less-than-amateur cooking skills, it sucks, and i get mad afterwards for 6 hours of wasted prep lol...
@@UnderWhereVPL it depends how much stress you place on the outcome… I like cooking a lot and I don’t let it stress me out. Yes it’s “wasted prep time” but you’re still learning …
What are you making that doesn’t work out? Maybe start with easier recipes that are impossible to mess up? 😊
He makes it look easy because he keeps missing dozens of steps, which miraculously are done for him when he gets to them.
This turkey recipe is very amazing. It looks very delicious
Life goal! to be that unexpected guest Gordon would let in for dinner

Glad he makes transcript avaliable because some of the French words are hard to understand and now I know how to spell an ingredient, like Madeira wine. Also happy that some wines are available in smaller bottles. Not a wine drinker and did not want to use 2 cups for a recipe and waste the rest of the bottle. 🤩🤩🤩🤩
Seriously... imagine being this man's family. Imagine being able to taste Michelin-star worthy dishes right at home multiple nights omg
The bad thing is, you'll have to help with the cooking. Or maybe even cook it yourself.
How can you not love this guy
I can
Beef Wellington is my favorite dish. Gordon has the best recipes in the entire world.
I wonder how many people have left the cling film on by mistake 😂😂 Love Gordon - brilliant chef.
Merry Christmas Gordon?!! And everyone yes
😔😔😔
I bet his family eat like royalty 🤤
Same old same old.it has been so many years we have been watching these 2 episodes now, can we expect something new this Christmas ?
My toxic trait is thinking I could make this turkey roast on my first time trying it on Christmas eve.
You can. Follow his instructions and you'll have no problem. I did one year and never had cooked for Thanksgiving, ever. It came out really well and I've done it 5 times (4 Thanksgivings and 1 Christmas) now. Last year, I did his ham recipe and it was amazing.
I do this every year, never fails, as long you don't over cook, I did this last month and when started to carve it wasn't fully cooked, so if this happens, take off the breast, legs and wings, meat side up and cook a bit longer at 350° keep and eye on it, mine came out perfect, don't put the whole bird back in.
this food looks so good, my mum is a good cook but I wish she could cook THIS good :0
*Fun Fact: Fun facts aren’t fun and usually aren’t even facts, including this one*
I've switched to beef at Christmas because here in the U.S. we have turkey at Thanksgiving and that's a lot of turkey in one month.
I tried Gordon's Wellington some years back, but I just don't seem to have the knack for cooking beef yet!
Made the turkey recipe for Thanksgiving! A definite winner with the family for me being an amateur cook.
I like this recipe alot. However, I'd have to *"kick it up a notch, BAM BAM BAM! Oh ya babe."* 👌
