Growing up on east coast I grew up saying pea-can. When I married an southern Iowa farm boy I was quickly informed it’s “pa-con” and I have to say the latter does sound best because it doesn’t have the nasaly sound that you hear when you “pea-can”. You guys make me giggle! Love my Sat mornings watching y’all with my coffee. We recently just lost Michael’s mom, so this season has been different. Celebrated our grandson’s 1st birthday last week. I just said a prayer for Tanner and his family. We say pa-con and I’m with Mike, I say care-A-mel, but my hubby Michael says car-mul. 😂 Blessings to y’all for a wonderful New Year (not year’S, like everyone else says…😂…it’s only 1 new year we’re celebrating, not several.)

You asked what we decorate outside with after Christmas. I keep it really simple for a few weeks and then I put my Valentine’s Day stuff up.

Pe-kahn, carmel... You two are so cute. Thank you for continuing with the weekly video, I look forward to seeing it and it brightens my day. I'm sorry to hear you were both sick. It must have been something going around the whole country. I had bronchitis at Thanksgiving, it never got better and turned into pneumonia at Christmas. I spent Christmas day sleeping about 18 hours and the next 5 days as well. I'm just starting to feel better. You two have a very Happy New Year! Love seeing you.
