He is going to be a star ... Just needs to stay on the Major League level ... He is already talented and tearing it up.
I do believe he has better potential (a lot more) at this point than Baty. He could be a Kyle Schwarber type player or even better than that. He has as much power as Alonso and hits the ball really hard. Better plate discipline (he needs to play) and he could shut up the critics.
And tomorrow Mendoza will start Baty 😢

He should have been on opening day roster. They know they made a mistake.
I was one of the few people saying this since day one of spring training. He persevered when the Mets did everything they could to help him fail. Baty on the other hand was treated the opposite and now they are seeing that he may be a bust. When Mauricio comes back next year, he is going to be the third baseman. Baty days may be numbered. Baty may be the next Christian Yelich and do well once he is out of NY, but right now he has been over matched by MLB pitching.
3 homers in the game and still lose. Also can the Mets close the book on Houser??? He is AWFUL!!!!

@@dr.manhattan4537 of course I don't know how the game works, I've just been watching it since the 1984 Tigers, I know how many games are left, but I also can foresee the team's future performance.
