Dude is talking about fighting tyranny, but he's a cop. Who does he think is enforcing the unconstitutional laws made by politicians? Cops are the tyrants.

You must be fun at parties, you also must be new here lol. I'm of the belief that you should be able to buy belt feds at the hardware store, also I don't know a single cop not a single one that supports the BS going on on the country. So you can stand outside of the machine and scream and throw rocks at it, I on the other hand am inside of it changing the way it works altering its course. People who say things like all cops are tyrants are the same to me as uneducated politicians calling ARs Assault Rifles. They both yell about things they know nothing about, only causing division in the communities by parroting whatever buzz words they heard on the magic box we call the TV

You’re talking about the men and women that put themselves in harms way to protect our children, grandchildren and community. I’m disappointed in my self for even responding to such an absurd comment but your ignorance compels me.

@unclefreedom213 you can pay lip service all you want about wanting belt feds at hardware store. But have you enforced any gun laws? What have you changed on the inside? Have any unconstitutional laws been removed from the books? Have you stopped the political over reach? What have you done? You and I both know there are cops that support all this bs going on in this country. If they didn't, then we wouldn't be having these problems would we? I think you videos kick ass. Very informative. But don't act like cops are the good guys all the time. Politicians have no power unless someone I willing to enforce their will

    • @unclefreedom213
      @unclefreedom213  Před 2 měsíci +24

I will add this for all to chew on. What creates change? You need more and more cops that aren't willing to kiss the ring.
However you get guys like me a dyed in the wool patriot with an entire family linage of service in the military. We become cops to help people and change things we don't like. We then get berated and hated by the very people we are. Told you are the problem by people that have already lost because it's easier to say people are the problem, than it is to crawl inside of the machine and try to change its course. It's easier to lay the blame and say it's because some cops suck all cops overwhelmingly support tyranny. You sometimes just have to take the abuse to be the change in the world you want. Even from the people that should be you community.
The worst part and what I see sometimes with addicts. They're just told they're an addict and they're always wrong eventually they believe it and just give in. Cops face that same thing told by all side they are the problem. Are there bad cops..... Shit yes there are terrible people that thi k the badge is a crown.

I also have a 10/22 Hogue stock. Not threaded, but it's my favourite firearm for sure. I have a bunch of the 25 round mags, but I learned to shoot a-la Appleseed, oldschool style, where you're supporting the front of the gun under the magazine. They do get in the way, and I pull on them when they're in the gun and have induced malfunctions.

These videos never get old. It's always fun talking about what's the best for this or that scenario. But it's all theory. And it's not gonna be fun when it happens. I really liked the legend Paul Harrell's video on if he could only have one gun. He whittled it down to just the M9/92fs for a few reasons but because it's concealable and he shoots it the best. We never know for sure what scenarios the future will bring us, what it will really be like, but we can make predictions based on real world recent situations and historical precedents. Stay safe guys!

    308 (bolt gun)

What purpose would the 22 handgun serve if you have a 9mm handgun? Wouldn't a 22 rifle be more useful for over all use to replace the 22 pistol on your 5 list? Another is why a revolver if you already have a 9mm pistol? Why not a pistol caliber carbine on your list? I also did not see a shotgun on your list, Not knocking your choices, I like hearing other peoples rational vs mine and sometimes it influence my choices

@bluemouse5039 there is no reason for a shotgun.
There is no reason for a PCC.
The 22 LR pistol serves the same purpose as a 22 lr rifle. You are to killing anything at range anyways.
Revolver is long lasting. (With moon clips you can use 9mm)

I tend to weigh the advantages of newer cal's vs somewhat inferior older ones (9 vs 40, 6.5 vs 308) tending to lean to older. the 762x39 vs 5.56 maybe being an exception. Lots of food for thought as always, TY again my friend, be well.

As I’ve aged I’ve leaned into the sustainment and long distance game. Run and gun? I can run an ar15 but running running is another story
If the wheels fall off tomorrow…. Are you going to hunt? Or are going to harvest game? Hunting is a time sink with rules. Harvesting is down and dirty, I rules and it’s easier to take turkeys with trout lines and a .223 then it is to call them in. I don’t think a hunting shotgun is important
Same with .22. Little critters? Traps and snares free up time…. & time is your most valuable asset/ most demanding opponent

    • @unclefreedom213
      @unclefreedom213  Před 2 měsíci +1

true but I've spent plenty of time trapping the issue is always the same the amount of time required to set and maintain trap lines is insane the time suck will be almost equal then it becomes a calorie game. Honestly if the Ballon goes up tomorrow and you're depending on hunting to keep alive whether that be traps, snares, bows etc is a gamble on the best day. I still belive a shotgun is mandatory for me it's just too adaptable for situations

I agree with most everything you said. The only thing I would add is the shotgun plays no real roll anymore in a shit hit the fan situation. People ask me what kind of bolt gun should I get and I always ask them what is the furthest distance you think you will shoot it and what kind of environment do you live in. For example I live in a town in central california where all the land is fenced off and there are no long distance ranges. So here the longest shot you will take to defend your community is maybe 200 yards if you shoot down a street. So to me a rifle like a Tikka chambered in .270 or 308 with a decent 3-9x40 scope would make the most sense.

My “one rifle” setup with all these scenarios in mind, is a DD5v3 in .308, with sling, light, BIS, a Trijicon SCO (MRAD non-specific tree) with the LaRue tactical mount.l and a dedicated suppressor. I have a 1301T Mod 2 with a sling, light, and EXPS2-0 on it. I have pistol setups in 9mm, .45, and 10mm as well as a B&T APC10 setup for suppressed SBR with an EXPS2-2. For small game and pests without burning through ammunition I have a 4500psi .25 air rifle that is sweet.

Reality is, a lot of people with high end gear will be donating said gear to those who bought something like a Savage axis scope combo from Walmart for like $300.. Reason being is they are stupid accurate for the money and an absolute crap ton have been sold.. More budget friendly firearms are sold than high end ones. The key is getting ones that just plain work and be proficient with them.. And I’m saying this as someone who owns higher end stuff.. You have a solid stable..

I have found it to be the best option as long as you're running the mossberg or remington 500 series for Mossberg or 870 series for remington. You can really tailor out what you want to gun to do carrying 2 spare barrels or even 1 spare barrel like you bird barrel with a 20 inch Mod Cylinder on the gun for a subsistence hunt. I can hunt everything from quail and pheasant to moose on the same trip to get more food as long as I have the right ammo. If we're in SHTF and you need that food something this small can really expand your possibilities

As a huge 10/22 fan, I have to disagree that they aren’t finicky on ammo. I’ve been around several and everyone of them struggled with bulk ammo dumped loose in a container of any type (box, bucket or jar). However. You throw a KIDD bolt and spring kit in it and it will eat and spit out even the most junk ammo. I also disagree with the rotary mags. BK mags period for me..
Only thing Ruger on my 10/22 is the receiver.. Currently sitting in a Boyd’s thumb hole stock (debating dropping it in a chassis or building one more for precision over lightweight), KIDD bolt and spring kit, KIDD ultra light bull barrel that’s of course threaded for suppressor, and a 4x16x44 optic with MRAD reticle.. Stupid light rifle and is a varmit hunting machine. My friends full KIDD heavy long barrel is a tad more accurate, but a lot heavier..
Will also agree on 308 for bolt gun. I went with 308 as depending on the scenario it might be the most common larger caliber I stumble across, it can share ammo with my AR 10 chambered in 308 and was also a round I already have a lot of ammo for..

A Ruger .357 with 4in barrel to carry/ hunt. Bigger barrels are better for hunting but shorter better for carrying. Rugers are proven reliable.
Any proven good brand AR15 5.56. Easy to find parts and ammo. Mid size game/ aggressors.
Wal Mart Remington 700. .308. Good scope (not great) easy to find ammo, military used a version of this rifle for snipers. Cheap and will be more accurate than most shooters. Hunting/sniping
Your preference of .22 rifle that is reliable. Small game.
A semiautomatic pistol that is known to be accurate and reliable in a common caliber you handle well. Usually something in the .38/9mm family. Primarily self defense close range.
My 5 in a generalized list. 6th would be a 12Gauge no choke.

My EDC is a Walther P99AS.
It's not just as good, it's better. :)
I don't care for optics on my handguns. I'm no authority on what works for you, you have to try it and decide if you like it, but I refuse to put a dot on any of my own handguns ever again.
Lights are great, but for EDC the disadvantages outweigh the advantages they bring, so I accept the performance penalty.
For me, shotguns in SHTF scenario have exactly one practical use, and that's anti-drone defense.
I won't settle for a manual or a defensive barrel length, so my go to is a Browning Auto-5 magnum 12ga with a 28" barrel, modified or full choke, shooting a dense wad of #4 heavyweight birdshot. Ideally tungsten, but lead is fine if you can get it.
Sub-MOA is an unrealistic and misunderstood expectation. I have a Mauser 98 custom that I use in NRL Hunter that gets me prize table numbers shooting a 20 round string at 1.6MOA.

can't CARRY 5 guns, or more than one longarm. Cant shoot what you aint got WITH you. Can't get men or animals to WAIT while you go GET "the right gun for the job. So you'll have to take the most versatile guns and that's a silenced, shorty AR-15 in 223, with a 22lr conversion unit, scoped OPTION, night sights., trigger job. and a micro 9mm in velcroed-in kydex front pants pocket holster, with a velcro option of sealing shut the pocket when you low-crawl.
You've got to always have your backpack of goodies with you, armor, etc, cause it'll be SO easy for you to get cut off from your stuff. Nobody's going anywhere on the roads post shtf, cause they will be full of ambushes. It only takes one person to kill you, or one 22lr bullet. Anyone can easily carry 1000 rds of 22lr, they can be suppressed, subsonic rds, lethal from 125m away.. You wont have a clue where that bullet came-from. the infection might not stop your heart for a week, but a 22 in you will mean that you're a walking dead man. Such a set up will let some looter shoot at a LOT of people and some of the dead WILL have 22lr ammo on them, too.
Dont KID yourselves, guys,. Post shtf, you can't be making noise, or show a light at night, have a fire in daylight, or do anything but HIDE in daytime, for at least a year. If you do any of those things, you wont last a month.

So a gun for most situations. To me this assumes mission requirements. If a true minuteman situation there will be some missions, but to ne the question is, what is the best overall.
If on a hunting mission and you have your bolt gun but run into a group on a hunting mission and they decide to hunt you, you'll likely wish you had the semiauto large mag rifle.
I could be wrong here but as all this is theory talk anyway, shouldn't each person consentrate on a single rifle and pistol combo for their area?
I say area, because in the flatlands where trees are few and line of sight is measured in miles, a longshooter may be the best all around option. While in a more densely wood area where line of sight is measured in yards, a semi auto with low powered optic may be best all around.

19x doesn’t have an optic cut so you have to do it yourself. The grip on the 19x also has to be shaved because of the bottom of the grip and the way it’s designed. It’s a protective lip and the way it’s shaped, it won’t accept Glock mags that have the regular oem baseplates. The 19x mag has a different baseplate and it’s built to fit that. The Glock 45 is basically the same gun but it’s got an optic cut and it’s got more magazine compatibility. But you have to remember the Glock 19x was created to fill a very specific roll. It’s an amazing pistol.

If there was only one weapon it should be a 410 shot slinger which you can load with slugs, buck and bird shot and even nuts, fishing weights, various hardware and even small pebbles in a pinch. Light gun and light ammo is critical and a 410 is effective for all kinds of game, birds and defense. Plus you can carry a judge, governor and bond arms derringer for up close and personal that shoots 410. Last a 410 pump can manually shoot a 45 colt round as can the mentioned hand slingers. The only rifle that remotely makes sense is 22lr. The only thing a a 410 isnt good for is long distance but its good ar everything else. Granted a 12 ga is optimum but its heavy and so is the ammo.

Can we not use the word accurate? Unless the gun is absolute trash its going to throw the round where you aim, accuracy comes from the shooter

A top shtf gun is a gun that is; tough, reliable, durable. And you are confidently accurate and proficient with.
My top 5 pistols for shtf; A glock 17 or G34, Sig P226, H&K USP tactical or expert pistol, walther ppq m1 or m2, and Beretta-92 series of pistols. Or in my case: A M9A3.
With all these pistols listed. It is of the shtf nature where you know we are not playing games and there are no rules. So forget about concealment or being covert in your operations. It is assumed every conflict will end in a violent firefight so you should have firearms that wont jam, break, fail to fire, and will be accurate when you pull the trigger.
My top 5 shotguns are; Benelli M4 tactical/H20 shotgun, mossberg 590A1, Mossberg Jm series shotguns; either the 930 or the 940, they both work fine if tuned and taken care of. Fostech Origin12, and then the Genisis 12 shotgun.
These shotguns I referenced are either tactical or are capable of high-volume fire, you want to be able to deliver a ton of firepower in CQB or close-distance firefights shorter than 50 yards. And all of them are meant to take abuse and high-power loads back2back.
Now my top5 shtf rifles; Any ar15 that is between 700 and 1500 dollars lol, honestly, I've been around the block on AR's and noticed early on that there is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE between a 1200 AR, and a 2500 dollar AR. The most I would ever pay is 1800 and that is pushing it, hell I wouldnt feel comfortable spending 1200 for a rifle. They're all the same. What really matters is the barrel and BCG. Im just gonna give 2 recommendations; an IWI Z15 rifle that goes for 700-800 and it is a bargain milspec rifle, and then any DDM4 rifle series; they're all good, they're all quality and guaranteed 1MOA or your money back, plus their warranty service world-class.
Second SHTF rifle is an import AK; no exceptions. Americans suck at making a good AK. Ill take a WASR10 GP 10/63 or an Arsneal Sam7r.
3rd SHTF rifle has to be 30 cal and a powerhouse; There are many but Ill just narrow it down to either a Sig 716i, or a DD5V3 or DD5V4; 308 winchester rocks and it will get the job done with good accuracy at long distance.
4.Barrett M82A1or any 50BMG rifle. It is shtf and we dont have any rules no more. So might as well possess the capability to stop cars, trucks, boats, helicopters and aircraft from a mile away.
5.Gotta have a precision rifle, dedicated bolt-action rifle. Id just get a ruger american or a tikka because I cant just justify spending more than a grand for a single-shot musket. Because that is what a bolt-action is, a modern single-shot musket. You only get one shot, you got to manually cycle the rifle to get another shot and that is not fancy at all. I dont agree with it.
Now Im not saying you should try getting all of these guns. You'd have to sell your car to get all the firearms and you still gotta buy the optics, accessories, mods, mounts, magazines and now you're gonna mortgage your house in order to pay for that. But these are what I would think would make the most sense in shtf as Iam sure the are folks who thought of this kind of list and got all these things and now this what you're gonna combat with in SHTF.

@@rico989 if u spent more than 1500 for an ar. You got ripped off kid. There are so many companies making good ar's for less. And this is coming from a guy who owns a 4500 dollar AR10 build
