Thank you for educating us! Love your videos! You didn’t mention magnesium chloride, is this type of magnesium safe?
Thank you so much.
I take Magnesium Malate and I find this type works for me as I have stomach issues due to having Celiac Disease.
I found by trial and error that the other types of magnesium cause MORE stomach issues for me.
Fricking adore you!
Dr Janine, pl recommend a brand of magnesium glycinate without d ingredient magnesium stearate. Tx. Appreciate much yr informative sharing
Thank you Dr.Janine, it is so true about all these types of magnesium. I take magnesium citrate when I have issues with bowel movement, because I have ileocecal valve issues with the opening function. I have to consume a lot of water though, it relaxes me, and one time it helped me with high blood pressure because of pain.
If I get Magnesium Bisglycinate would that help me when I encounter constipation?
Thank you I will now start taking my malate in the morning.
Nice presentation doc, very informative indeed.
Irish Bob is a fan of your channel. Carry on Lass.😇🤗😎🍀🇮🇪🇨🇵🦾🩺🥂
Hi Dr. I like your comments they are very helpful can you talk about magnesium for men also thank you!
Which magnesium supplement is best for Prinzmetal Variant Angina as a natural calcium antagonist.... Without the side effects of drowsiness, dizziness etc. ?
I sometimes have restless legs at night. Does magnesium help? And if so what type and dosage? I also have anxiety.
Do you have a recommended dose for magnesium malate, thank you
What about magnesium asparate? I haven’t heard you at anything about that one. Also is it ok to take a multi magnesium supplement
Maybe you could do shorts on mints and what is in them. Such as lifesaver wintergreen and peppermint life savers, fresh mint tic tacos and the red and white peppermints. I eat a lot of these everyday at work for fresh breath. I would love to know about them. I am wondering how bad they are for me. Thank you. Sue

Thank you I brought the wrong one and it was the oxide one
She didn’t mention orotate great for my sleep and is good for the heart.
I wonder now what forms of magnesium are in food sources: Brazil nuts, spinach, almonds, etc. Great information. Appreciate it! ❤️🌹
That's good because I just brought some
Thank you Dr. Janine. I knew about Magnesium Bisglycinate; but not so much about the other forms; specifically Magnesium Stearate. So thank you again and I did listen to the end and learned useful information. Much appreciate the time you are taking to inform us on best health practices.
Glad to help!
I bought products from vitatree USA, have not yet gotten them
@doctorjanine I bought products from vitatree USA and we're not delivered to me instead returned back
I have been having a lot of really bad cramps so I asked my gp and she recommended magnesium oxide
I used to get terrible leg cramps. Got so bad the calf muscle was being ripped apart, turning to stone, turning to jelly, being ripped apart again, and those are not figurative words, very literal. I couldn't walk for days afterwards. Had to take time of work. Then I discovered magnesium, specifically Ionic magnesium. That works. I have tried pills, but they never seem to do it as the leg cramps return ever few weeks if I use pills. So now I just use Ionic.
Hi doc. I bought Naka company magnesium L threonate and it also showing on side non medical ingredients magnesium stearate ( vegetable source) should i take or discard plz reply…
Is the bisgylcinate usually a blend/complex? I am looking at a product that says blend of chelate, glycine & oxide. Just wondering your thoughts on that
not a blend
I take magnesium chloride and it was not mentioned, can you comment on that one, thanks! Love your show and I’m subscribed 😉
Magnesium chloride can be harsh on the stomach and may cause upset.
Thanks for the reply! I will try another type to see if I get better results.
My Magnesium Glycinate doesn't dissolve in water- stirred and it settles at the bottom. Is it ok?
How much magnesium should someone take daily?
I can’t believe ur a dr
Hi can i drink the bisglycinaye in the morning, 9 o clock.
Yes, I prefer Magnesium in the morning for better results. 😊
My “Calm” Magnesium supplement drink mix say ingredients: magnesium (as magnesium carbonate). Which category/type does this fall under and is it okay and helpful to take?
Sometimes it is not as well absorbed compared to bisglycinate
@@doctorjanine Well, I'm actually looking at the label on my container of Natural Vitality's Calm Anti Stress fizzy drink mix and it says, "Magnesium carbonate and citric acid, when combined with water, create ionic magnesium citrate." so, apparently it is converted in that way to the citrate form. Not sure what the ionic part means exactly though.
Is it ok to take 3 different types of magnesiums? For example magnesium malate, magnesium threonate and magnesium bisgylcinate?
I’m curious too… hopefully someone will answer. Like a Malate in the morning and another more calming one at night
Interested too
Hello and thank u
I have been using ur magnesium for a long time
I take 4 a day
But I’m really confused about
How many mg is in 2 pill
I called ur office and get different answers
What is elemental and what is glycinate
So all together how many mg is in 2 pills
And what body absorbs
Tnx
Are Magnesiym Bisglycinate and Magnesium glycinate the same?
They are similar, bis means 2 glycines vs. 1
Hey Dr. Janine is magnesium glycinate the same as bisglycinate
I'm wondering the same thing because she didn't mention that one.
Can you combine 2 types of magnesium t
I do
What about Chelated Magnesium!
Personally need to know the bio-availabilities of "chelated" minerals. Is it just fancy science for sales or does it really work and by how much than non-chealate.
I’m having trouble finding the best magnesium bisglycinate. Which brand do you recommend
We like this one without any fillers store.vitatree.com/Magnesium?search=magnesium
Thank you,
Team Dr J9
@@doctorjanine the link doesn’t seem to work
@@ayoolascottit didn’t work for me either. But I did find it on Amazon.
I can’t find it on Amazon… can you send me a link where to find it. I live in Italy. Thank you
I’ve used the powder citrate for years called calm magnesium.
🇨🇦changed the formula which i didn’t notice Carbonate and fructoses. Nd doctors don’t even bring up Carbonate. My search shows me it’s used as chalk 😱 AM I IN DANGER ⛔️
❤ 👏🏼 🙏
950mg bisglycinate? Is that 950mg elemental?
❤
U need reporting
Can you take more than one type of magnesium at a time? I need about 3 on that list loool
Yes if needed, but the most common combo would be citrate for constipation and bisglycinate for most other symptoms. 😀
Ur dosage needs checking. Who the hell take 950mg of glyconate
Why don't you tell people where to get vitamins that have no magnesium stearate that are pure we don't know where to buy them
she sells them
