The nightride guys is probably the only real grassroots drifting channel here in CZcams nowadays. Those guy doesn't care about a 1000hp drift car/race car they just wanna drift in style and just have a good time, their videos is refreshing to watch.
So nice to get extra Nightride video's on a different channel.
They could double upload every day and I’d still be stoked for more content, so good!

Fun fact “window glue” is a liquid form of polyurethane, you can make your own poly bushings with it and it will stick literally anything to anything!
Isnt it a different kind of hardness? It flexes more that the real bushes? Correct me if im wrong
@@rowaldwousie5289 I used window glue for filling empty spaces in gearbox mounts, engines mounts, exhaust hangers, subframe bushings, etc. Basically for anything rubber with holes. It makes these parts behave exactly like the original part, but they last 4 times longer and can really take a beating if needed. Can't recommend enough. Unlike poly bushings it doesn't make it transfer any more vibrations.

That hardness is called durometer and, yes, you’re correct. Anything is better than not adding poly, however.

Because lz kinda shifted into a production type of filming mean while jimmys its more raw many channels that grew big like whistlingDiesel Westen champlin they kinda lost their raw feeling of the moment on film

Here in Europe "banded steelies" are a standard thing. Everyone in the car scene knows about them. It's fascinating to see that they're not a thing in the US car scene.

Window weld is the go to for firming up stock bushings too instead of swapping them out for polyurethane bushings.
Its actually wild how banded steelies still havent caught on here in the States, even in the Volvo world I see it all the time from Europe

For people wondering about steelies, They're from an open insignia. For US people you could make these from early 2000s ford focus since they have the same rims

As a automotive window installer, i can confirm windshield urethane is both strong as shit and is super thick and weather proof. The passenger airbag deflects off the windshield in an accident so it needs to be strong enough to remain secure the chassis. Its usually around 1000+ psi tensile strength.
In the u.k./Europe those type of wheels are known as banded steel wheels/steels. Those particular wheels are fairly common in the uk and known as Vauxhall insignia steel wheels the base model had them with a plastic wheel trim. They also do a 16” version of the 17” type fitted to your car. They are 5x120 and as said the centre bore needs opening up a fair bit on a lathe/milling machine.
In the UK we would call the wheel widening method as banding the wheels. The window glue looks similar to Tiger Seal in the UK

We had Opel. Solstice and Sky were designed by Opel. Widening steel wheel was a old hotrod trick. Widening old vw beetle wheels.
That aero kit makes the e36 look sexy.

I used to seal my wire wheels on my lowrider the same way. They have a rubber seal but over time it still leaks from the spokes. If you use the window glue it will seal every time.
