Do you will learn how to create this rig too? or just animation?
Hey, the course will be purely Animation focused. We'll cover some basic ways of rigging props quickly. And you'll of course receive this rig as part of the course, but we won't be touching character rigging. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your interest Chris, unfortunately Max and May will be exclusive to course members, but we do have plans to add additional rigs & assets after the "completion" of the course. These additions would be offered for free to course members, but we'll also give the option to purchase them separately. Hope this helps 😁
I’d rather learn to make the character first before I eventually make the jump into animation.
Haha those are definitely two different careers! In the future we're thinking of adding modeling & rigging courses as well, but that won't be for a long while :)
@@BrianKouhi I am fully capable of making the models actually, just not in this stylized fashion. Will try to make my own before I join the course.

The designs were by Mandela Smith, and the initial 3D sculpts for the characters were done by Tyrell Scott in Zbrush.
But the characters have gone through dramatic changes since then, and all of those changes were done in Blender.

Is this course for absolute beginners to animation? I cannot find an outline of what the course covers and worried it jumps into advance stuff too soon.
Hey Frosty, we will cover the very basics, and make our way to intermediate, then advance lessons. We have a rough version of the syllabus at the very bottom of our Kickstarter page. Hope this helps.
