So I watched ur reaction to slipknot and if I remember right you said when the chorus came that u like that kind of music SO I hopefully have a new band for you! And its called ”HIM”. They make ”love metal” and their songs are so pretty. So I would love to see ur reaction to their song ”Join me in death”. I love it. If u react to that song I would be so happy! :)
This is a remake of their own 9 year old emo style song. That's why some of the lyrics are kind of silly. The original video is like a celebrity rehab parody, so they make more sense in that context. You should check out the original. Ronnie said that he did the remakes for the fans who have been there from the beginning. This music video won some awards. If you do the other remake, please check out the original first, just for that context. The band is kind of all over the place as far as musical style goes, in a good way. Ronnie is the genius behind basically everything, from lyrics, beats, and instrumentals, to video concepts. Band members have come and gone over the years, but the music has always followed his vision and style. As you dive deeper, you'll start to realize how truly versatile FIR is, and that you really can never expect what you're going to get next. Even long time fans were surprised with their newest single. Everything is just so different. Enjoy the ride!
I also think it's very theatrical. I admire the skill level and artistic talent, but it's not one of my favorites by Ronnie. He said, that he was fully aware, that this wouldn't be a radio hit. Usually he makes sure to not only write great songs, but songs that are in tune with what people want to hear during this time period. In this case, he said he wanted to give his creativity free reins for once. Falling In Reverse is a band, but not. Ronnie Radke practically IS the band. He writes all the songs, makes all decisions, records a lot of the instruments, etc. The rest are more or less hired musicians. Sometimes he brings in someone new just for a video or a tour. Unfortunately this isn't doing it for me at all. Throughout the song I feel it is building up, and building up and building up ... but doesn't really get anywhere but another pause. It almost feels the song is written to fit the video instead of the video being inspired by the song. Your comment about it giving musical vibes I agree with. And I am not a fan of musicals really, so that might be why I don't like this song either. Let me be clear it is just how I feel about it and doesn't say anything about the singer's vocal abilities or the musical qualities of the band or how anybody else should perceive the song. This is also new music for me so I am glad you made a reaction otherwise I probably would have never listened to it. Thank you.

This song is a commentary of Ronnie's former herion addiction. He parallels that addiction with a vampirism. The lyrics truly are dark.

For me, this is the best song Falling In Reverse has done and The Drug in Me is You Reimagined is the close second.
