First one was released in 2011 and revamped in 2021. He's had huge internal growth and artistic too. I adore the second one. It's a regular movie like all his new releases. I just loved your face when you started hearing revamped. LOL. Night and day right?! Voices in my Head next? I discovered Ronnie with Voices in my head and was blown away. This is why Ronnie is one of my top three favorite vocalist, along with Chester Bennington (Linkin Park) and Benjamin Burnley (Breaking Benjamin). He is incredible versatile. Also R.I.P Derrick Jones. Original guitarist for the group. He died less then a year after popular monster which was their first number 1 hit.
I would have never guessed he had the range of music and stylistically that he does.

Itâs kind of scary because my son acts in a lot of the same ways Ronnie has in the past. Probably ADHD to be honest. Add that to trauma in early childhood and you get someone like Ronnie.

Already commented on this but weâre all dying to see you do The Drug In Me Is You the original then in the same video The Drug In Me Is You (reimagined) 10 years apartâ€same lyrics! A younger Ronnie using humor in the original video liken his addiction to his his rock style life by getting all the women he wants, being in trouble with the law, having to go to court and so when you watch both videos just realize itâs not about a girl but about himself! He also wrote this while in prison while looking at his reflection in a mirror hence The DRUG In ME Is YOU, because he comes to realize heâs his own worst self, his own worst addiction and cause of his chaosâs in life! When you hear the older more mature Ronnie singing in the reimagined video his voice puts all his raw emotion and pain into how important those lyrics really are itâs just stellar! Canât wait to see your reaction once again! Ronnie is his own genre of music đ¶

Another fantastic reaction! Watching how much you enjoyed this took me back to the first time I heard it, which was on its drop day. So fun!!!! This song in its original release was a punk rock type song and was light hearted. Ronnie and an Irish composer revamped it for its 10 year anniversary. The new version really shows how much Ronnie has grown.
I think itâs about addiction, because of lyrics like âitâs coursing through my veins â âchemical dazeâ âwhen did I become so coldâ etc. I think the original is the unapologetic, party animal rockstar, having fun. But in denial.. âIâm not an addictâ/âIâm not a vampire â. Heâs not thinking about what impact his addictions/lifestyle have on his life and on others.
The revamped to me is a more mature look back at his addiction and how he didnât think he was a monster but in reality he was and Saraya (his irl girlfriend) a represents how much he hurt those around him. When she walks in on him, he runs away ashamed. She kills herself in sadness over the monster she discovered he is. But then he turns her (her purity) into the very thing he is ashamed of about himself.
BUT... I think itâs also a love story and I think itâs to pay homage to Derek Jones (dedication to him at the end of the video) and Derekâs fiancĂ© who both died last year (she from cancer, Derek from suicide). Derek was Ronnieâs longtime friend and the guitarist for Falling In Reverse, it was Derek in the original video playing lead guitar that you loved so much.
Anyway, thatâs just my take on it. Iâm so sorry about writing you a book
Some little bits are the guitar notes are the exact same but played on piano and the lyrics are all of the same exact for 1 added line. Also the house is his irl house.

As you see, the Revamped version is a masterpiece! We can literally see your mind being blown, haha. You ready for another one that will do the same thing??? "The Drug in Me is You" and "The Drug in Me is Reimagined." Same vibes. The original is from their debut album and has the same sound as the original I'm Not a Vampire, then we reimagines it into something amazing. It was actually the first reimagined song he did, then Vampire. Def go check them out and record them just like you did this one, back-to-back so you have the changes fresh in your mind. Looking forward to seeing it. Then there's a ton more to do. Have you done "Popular Monster" yet? If not, that goes up there to the top of the list too. Kinda "Watch the WOrld Burn" vibes. The Revamped version you did was dedicated to Derek Jones(guitarist for FIR) who died shortly before the video. Towards the end of the song After he says âMFER IâM A VAMPIREâ where he goes full voice screams, I feel like that is the voice of a man who has been completely broken. I feel like that deeply affected Ronnie and thatâs what we heard on that track.
oh for sure he broke after all the damage he caused and seeing his lady do that to herself and then him making her the very same monster he was..
@@ToneyReactions Nah man, Iâm talking about his friend and guitarist for his band Derek dying. Derek was the one who helped form Falling in Reverse and even picked Ronnie up from prison before they recorded their first album.

@@ToneyReactions According to Wikipedia(in other words, take this with a grain of salt) it was due to a subderal hematoma(blood clot in the brain). I find it questionable since his death came just a few months after that of his wife who passed from cancer, but crazier things have happened and is purely speculation on my part.

Great Reaction, just one thing though, you might want to let all of Ronnie's videos play all the way out to the end. He often has surprises at the end you will miss, plus you will piss off fans when you skip the end. I've seen Ronnie shut off videos he's reacting to when someone skips or edits any part of his video. Other than that, I think Ronnie would enjoy watching your reactions.
