Aliens really must be watching us like a depressing reality show
comedy show but actually funny
@krasistefanovlol fr. Not funny for us, but like, anyone watching I'm sure
And I’m the comic relief
If South Park is anything to go by they’re probably debating nuking the planet…
@@Boundwithflame23tbh, would probably be better for all of us
As someone with autism, I love it when people are insanely scared of people who are autistic, we are people, not creature's
speak for yourself, i am in fact a creature :)
but yeah, it's so funny when they treat us like we're gonna infect them or something. at least by nature they avoid us so we don't have to do the work.
I'm not autistic , but since some people seem to belive that it is infectious , I'd scare them to death just by coughing very loudly near them
@@olakpasa6486I'm autistic myself, and this is an incredible idea, will be trying it out next time
Can't get autism if you already have it! Woo!

The 'X' rebrand is totally insane
Do they not realise how great it was for them that people would say "I saw a tweet" rather than "I saw a post"
"Brand recognition? What's that? Teenagers will use my app if I get rid of all that dumb stuff and replace it with something "cooler""
-Elon Musk probably
Well apparently it we're supposed to say "I saw an x". Which sounds absolutely bonkers.
@@sayventbh it sounds a bit inappropriate...
Mask is just trolling everyone with this whole twitter campaign.
Honestly... I've seen a nsfw post where they turned the X logo into a butthole. It was a gay scene. Yiffed the butt they did.
I kind of see a forced pregnancy and giving birth without consent as a kind of slavery.
in fact, this very much used to pretty much literally be the case in many places. from the time a woman was married until she died in childbirth or from exhaustion, she would be impregnated again after having a baby as soon as possible, one baby after another
33:03 What's funny about the lady being so emotionally invested in the color of her daughter's wedding dress is that a white wedding dress never symbolized purity. The tradition started with Queen Victoria, and it symbolized the fact that she was rich enough to wear a dress only once. Having a white cake with white frosting just meant you're rich enough to afford refined flour and sugar, which were still pretty expensive back then.
I'd thought I heard the white dress was for economic reasons (promoting domestic fabric rather than imported silk - which, weighted silk is a fun rabbit hole if you're interested in spontaneously combusting dresses), so I did a quick search and apparently Queen Victoria's dress was white (made of local silk) primarily because it showed off her custom lace to best advantage (also locally produced, and the templates destroyed so it couldn't be reproduced), and she wore at least the veil on several future occasions. Other brides previously had occasionally worn white to show they were rich enough to have the dresses cleaned. None of which has anything to do with purity.
@@amandafrederickson3764 Why yes, I *AM* interested in spontaneously combusting dresses.
Uh, I mean my friend is. My friend is interested. For perfectly normal and innocent reasons. Yep.
@@PenguinLord10 🤨🔎
Interesting. I learned a couple of years ago that the white dress thing was mostly recent, but I didn't know the details.
Back then, women just wore their best dress to their wedding, a fact that blew my brain away when I was young. I thought that they were just super casual about their wedding!
People who make fake accusations that destroy other people's circumstances should most definitely go to jail. I support that wholeheartedly
For the same time as the sentence for that crime would carry
It is a crime in countries I know of
@@Files_Loathingyes definitely. Unless it’s like accidental and they were joking and nothing terrible happened to the accused person yet.
Lol you are going to put away the entire demokkkrat party.
"B-but jail is so unclean like I sat down and there was some unknown sticky stuff like omg ew disgusting! And the beds aren't actual beds and just these thin mat things! Also everything being clear like really freaks me out and they confiscated all my stuff!"
In all seriousness, yes, they should. This is also a Class C or D felony where I live.
That deleting all female from the phone reminds me of this craziness: When my brother was 15, his girlfriend was such a crazy jealous person she went thru our family photo albums (physical photo album full of old pictures) and using a pen scrapped off the faces of every single female (babies and old women included, as well as very old photos). She was insane and confused why my family hated her after.
Such toxicity
People thinking they own their partners is so wild and scary to me.
Honestly, the frequency of these kinds of stories is a large part of why I don't date- I deal with enough without adding a potentially toxic relationship that will seek to crowd out all of my other relationships.
Sounds like a massive personality disorder.
Sheesh can't be happier that I'm aromantic. Don't have to deal with crazy exes lmao
I'm ace but too scared to try to find love because of the possibility of crazy people and those who won't respect that I don't want to have sex ever, just hugs kisses and cuddles for me thank you!
even the babies? wtf is wrong with her?
19:17. The girl was raised by her aunt and has a successful career. She bought her sister (cousin) an apartment. Her bio-parents demanded she buy her bio-brother one too. She refused.
The bio-parents took her to court over it and lost. BUT she was ordered to negotiate an amount that she has to pay her bio-parents for Parent Management or whatever. What a slap in the face that must've been.
In China kids have to support their parents when they are older. It's ridiculous. If anything she should only have to support her aunt and uncle since they are the ones who adopted and raised her. I feel so bad for her.
I hope she only had to give them the barest minimum possible. Shitty parent s do not deserve to leech off kids they abandoned. I heard too many stories from women who were born during the one-child policy, the amount of shitty parents really show themselves there. Forced on by the the government but the parents who actively looked at their baby girl and deemed her worthless cause she wasn’t born the right sex cause boys matter more is so infuriating. Ironic that it backfired spectacularly at these peoples faces.
If you get adopted AS an adult, because you where a foster Kid and your Bio parent did not agree on giving Up the rights for you even though they never raised you, then you will BE financially responsible for 2 Sets of parents even though one never played a Penny for you did Not raised you, all of that!
I just love how Click can be taking the piss of some idiocy, reading the memes in different voices, and a second later have a profound dialogue with the camera about the complexity of existance 😂
That's why we watch him! I was thinking the same thing.
"There's a reason there's only one friend of mine who has a house."
Congratulations to Click's friend for buying a house! 🎉
That must be a relatively new event.
Lol I just saw a house for sale in my city (US) that made my jaw drop..... The interior is absolutely DECAYING, the walls and insulation literally collapsing in. Guess how much it costs?
*$350,000*
The housing market is ABYSMAL. And properties like this are getting snatched up with cash offers above asking price so flippers can turn around and sell them at insane prices that nobody from this city can afford. 💀💀
@@Sleipnirseight Money Pit house (sold to us by a snake that is trying to raise rents in the city and build houses that aren't up to code) owner here. It sucks since we aren't contractors and we've already thrown like 40k into this place. Sure it looks nice from outside now that we removed the rotting, lead painted outside. Still can't believe there was lead paint on this place until 2018. Please send help I hate it here and cry every day.
We are now realizing all the pipes are breaking down under the house. Pipes keep breaking under sinks. We have rusty water and need to use filters. Crawl space makes it so we can never expand. Had to rewire the entire house because there was no grounding. Every appliance keeps breaking, and I'm pretty sure there is more dry rot damage in the kitchen. Had to remove a huge chunk of the living room wall and the entire floor in the bathroom due to it. They left a hole behind the oven that pests can get into, rats scratching in the walls, showing up dead in our house and will and apparently we somewhere have a hole that whole cats, racoons, and squirrels can get into in our roof.
I can't tell you how unsafe I feel every day waiting for this place to fall down on me. I don't want to leave because I don't know how we'd make a profit to sell it at a price that wouldn't make me feel like a terrible person for unloading this place on someone else. Sorry to anyone who actually read this, I've been in this place since 2018 and I'm miserable.
@@Sleipnirseight Dang, I must be in a really cheap area. That would be worth AT MOST $25,000, and even that's stretching it a bit.
I'm a GenXer and got a townhome in 2006 that was 100% financed. A few years later I was able to consolidate the loans. Now I'm on track to pay it off in less than 2 years. 34:31 for any who do not know, SIDS Stands for "Sudden Infant Death Syndrome". Essentially, your baby ceases to exist for no tangible reason. Normally this will happen between 1-4 months, but it could happen up to a year out.
I have heard of some research saying a cause /may/ have been found - some mutation in chromosomes, I think? - but I do not remember.
That’s horrible. Imagine having a child for, say, 3 months, you take good care of them, and they’re happy and healthy, and they just suddenly die
Edit: Thank you everyone for further educating me on the subject :)
Exactly. Normally it's simply that the baby just doesn't wake up from their nap.
SIDS has also been reduced drastically now that people are putting children on their back to sleep instead of their stomachs
There's also theories that it may be related to choking on blankets etc. Terrible situation
@@SnailPreacherThere are a bunch of identified risk factors - which range from the baby sleeping on their belly, having loose blankets, to being in a house with a smoker - and if you avoid all those risk factors the probability of your baby becoming another unexplained infant death becomes very small. It's something we're taught about in pregnancy education.
Yes people want to make birth control illegal for anyone unless they are married and their spouse says they’re allowed to take it. It’s horrible af.
My grandpa at a recent family event was like "You should all just buy a house, it's what I did!"
I showed him the graph of regular inflation vs housing inflation.
He changed the topic of the conversation.
Grandpa: buy a house!
You: *shows graph*
Grandpa: so the reason slavery is bad-
Lol
That's what happens when you have strong opinions about other people's choices but zero desire to understand them. You inevitably conclude that other people are just insane, because you don't understand why they do what they do.
Wait till we show the wage inflation line by comparison for the mic drop.
Even in just 20 years the changes in the price of housing is insane. In 2002 my parents move into a house about 30 minutes outside a small UK city - bungalow with 4 bedrooms, one ensuite, huge family bathroom (shower and separate bath), kitchen, massive living room, sunroom, utlity room, and detached gardage with a decent sized amount of land - ya could park 8 cars on the front driveway/space (they have since added 3 rooms/bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, to give an idea of the size/space). Earlier this year the house across the street from me sold for more than my parent paid. It was a semi-detached house, with a weird "half roof" upstairs, with 3 bedrooms all with some sloping ceilings, small family bathroom, average kitchen, two small-ish living rooms, small utility room, no garage and a drive way for one car.
I am only a few years younger now than my parents where when we moved into that huge house and while super thankful to own any property, I am so quite bitter than I'll never be able to own a house like the one I grew up in! (I won't even inherit the family home as there are three kids, so most likely be sold and money spilt as I doubt any of us could afford to buy the others out!)
I like to think that Eric’s mother knows *exactly* what X premium is, and is rightly pissed at her son for paying for it.
I'll be honest, it took a minute for the other interpretation to even occur to me.
Yeah, don't give money to rich idiots like Elon Musk, kid! 🤣
It's 10x funnier to me that way, to look at it in the most 'innocent' light, because it still should very much have that reaction. Hell, depending on the age of Eric, I'd say it is more deserving of outrage to spend money on Ex-Twitter than adult stuff.
Nah, hardly. Note the use of the word "inappropriate". I suspect she doesn't know Twitter's name has changed, & she thinks this was a fee for a porn site.
Actually, the picture that looks like the rifle is firing the shell casing is a real photo. It was just very good timing and perspective. The photographer even addressed it and explained that the rifle was ejecting rounds at an odd angle the whole time they were taking pictures and they just happened to snap a picture that made it look like a shell casing was being fired from the barrel.
That's beautiful. You got a link?

Back when I was a little kid (around 1986), I had a teacher tell me you couldn't subtract 3 from 1 because "negative numbers aren't real", and when I argued she pulled me aside to say, "That's what you'll learn next year, not this year" and then reiterated to the class that it was impossible to subtract 3 from 1. When I tell you that killed ALL of my interest in mathematics, even to this day. Bad teachers are just the worst.
Really teaching math like they teach history.
Now I just imagine the kids moving up to the next grade and trying to tell their new teacher that "Miss so-and-so told us that's not possible." And having a full out argument.
There are so many other ways to word "That's not part of MY curriculum," Without lying to such a damaging extent.
I had this exact thing happen cept she didn't back down from it. Just kept saying it was impossible to do. Tiny me was like, just write the numbers in the opposite order, then what.
Over 30 years later I'm still bitter
This is very relatable all elementary school teachers just play dumb and act like negative numbers are not real and then as soon as your in 7th grade like me all you see is negative numbers lol😂
I was told the same by my kindergarten teacher.
Fun fact, horses are technically omnivores. For more disturbing facts ask a biologist.
They’re opportunistic omnivores. They will not go out of their way to consume meat but will not hesitate if it’s just free calories
I've seen a donkey kick a snake to death and eat the body afterwards, equines don't scare me but I understand why they could
Every child wants a pony until it eats their chicks.

Fun fact, butterflies absolutely love to eat rotting meat, they just don't get the opportunity much because of how low on the scavenger rungs they are
20:52 That postpartum abortion thing is actually portrayed very well in a book series. It’s the Unwind series by Neil Shusterman, and it’s all about these kids who are trying to survive in the US, where kids can be “unwound”. It’s really good but also twisted as hell because you can be unwound as long as your parents sign a contract and you are ages 13-17, so you have literal teenagers being sent in for this stuff.
Unwind is the book series that introduced me to viscerally described body horror. I remember it being such a good series
I'm a fan of (anti)utopia and I guess I'll just love to read. If I won't be incredibly lazy
As someone who owns a dog, I can say with certain that he controls every aspect of my and my family's lives. Not the other way around. He's got us so well trained to drop everything and give him attention and play with him whenever he wants it.
The absolute hate i have towards fake r*pe allegations...They make it much harder for actual victims, and it completely ruins the life of the falsely accused. Even if they come clean and admit to lying, there will always be some people that still think the accused individual did it.
they 100% deserve jail time for this
Yeah, that should be illegal and HEAVILY punishable. The accused should also get accommodations as something like that can RUIN their lives. Take away stuff if you don’t know if the allegations are true or not, and once you find out that they’re false, give the rights and stuff back to the accused, with extra stuff added on, again for accommodations.
@@ranting2daMAX I get where you are coming from, I do, and I support the general idea, but this rule could backfire on actual victims; I can see so many ways these kind of laws could go horribly wrong; how do you prove the allegations are actually false? Where is the benchmark between "the person lied" and "the person has not enough evidence for what happened to them".
This could become very frightening for victims to come forward especially victims of powerful people. I know exactly what you mean and blatant lies should be punished, but I can just see this being abused by some truly monstrous beings out there to intimidate people into silence.
@@hopelessgeek3776another thing I just considered, could make it easier for the rich to get away with it. They’ve got more money than you so u better have a good lawyer because the moment you accuse them they will open like a counter accusation which they will pump money into winning
1 year was not long enough.
"$11 an hour, isn't that like, below minimum wage?" seeing people from Scandinavian countries see how the US works is truly eye opening. $11 an hour is like 50% higher than minimum wage in most states.
anyone working 8 hours a day 5 days a week, even on minimum wage, should be able to afford living, and even afford to save. Then on top of that, reasonable healthcare prices and a minimum of 25 paid vacation days a year, and the right to not be fired without good reason.
Those things are just MINIMUM human rights according to me
Wow, I live in southern California, and had no idea the minimum here is so much more than in other areas! Thanks for the reality check!
Back in 2011 I worked as a janitor in Sweden, fresh out of high school, and received minimum wage around $11. (current sek/usd exchange rate, not adjusted for inflation)
In Sweden the unions negotiate minimum wage, there is no national minimum wage.

About the toddlers shooting someone portion of the video:
Last year my cousin's 3 yr old daughter shot herself and died. My cousin's husband was a cop and he got home from work and left his LOADED AND UNSECURED gun laying around. Their three year old child found it. Last I heard, there were charges filed against my cousin and her cop husband and he may have lost his job as a police officer. I haven't heard any updates in over a year because I don't talk to my family.
16:12 i don't remember the exact tumblr post, but it mentioned that they hope death feels like falling asleep during a party as a kid. Where you get carried to your bed and its warm, and you hear your loved ones laughing in the other room.
I cherish that idea so closely. I really do hope death is filled with warmth and rest and love
I love every second of my life, but i think living forever would be a nightmare
The whole thing about 'no carnivores on my planet' baffles me, because that actually HAPPENED with this one island - there were no predators, and iirc sailors introduced rabbits so they could be eaten when/if people got stranded there (or something like that). After a few years the island was practically stripped bare of plantlife because there was nothing to stop the rabbits from overpopulating and eating everything. Exterminating all predators from an area is going to do nothing beyond destroy the environment in question.
There are numerous examples of herbivore population explosions after predators have been removed. In some cases, predators have been successfully reintroduced - like the wolves in Yellowstone Park - but it usually means we have to kill the herbivores ourselves. In reference to your rabbit example, both Australia and New Zealand have serious problems with rabbits. And also with the mustelids introduced to 'control' them. NZ also has deer and mountain goat populations that have no natural predators and have to be culled on a regular basis.
And then we have vegan pet owners who try to make their predatory pet vegan. If you don't want your animal to eat meat, don't get a cat or dog! Someone so ignorant of basic animal physiology should not own pets.
That said, a world that did not need species of animals to eat others to survive would be nice. Life is hard enough without having to worry if you are about to be torn apart and eaten by some predator.
Yeah, if you let the predators die off in an area, you are going to need to start culling herbivores, or you're going to wind up with either a mass migration or mass starvation scenario. So...if you kill off all the wolves, you better be prepared to shoot Bambi's Mom yourself.
Yup, anytime there are more herbavoirs than the environment can sustain its going to turn into a wasteland. Nature doesn't always make sense but it does a dang good job of keeping itself together if only humans would stop interfering
Trophic cascade, it is real fascinating stuff. Yellowstone saw the effects when wolves were reintroduced
yeah, people who say shit like that piss me off because it makes the rest of us look bad, lol
With the wedding dress thing: I went to a Catholic High School and for graduation all the girls were made to wear white dresses. Guys were in tuxedoes. But one girl was pregnant and was barred from attending and the one they knew had a child, they made her wear purple. So it was called out to everyone in attendance at the church they held the graduation out that she wasn't "pure in God's eyes." Sickening to single out an 18 year old girl like this.
The white weeding dress has nothing to with purity either. It became famous because of the weeding of Queen Victoria's choice to wear a white court dress at her wedding to Prince Albert in 1840.
"pure in God's eyes"
Makes me wonder why anybody is allowed to wear white. Isn't one of the cornerstones of Christianity the concept that all are born sinful and imperfect, Original Sin and all that dogma?
Yo priest! Point to me somebody present that IS pure. The ceremony should've looked like a Pride flag.
@@derekstein6193 It's hardly surprising news that these people have little to no idea what the actual Biblical teachings are. It's not like they ever read the book.
@@molybdaen11 Exactly. And it wasn't a sign of her purity, it was a sign of wealth & status. Wearing white is impractical in general, but even moreso during that time when the dresses were very long and the streets were not paved. When coal and wood burning were the only way to cook, or heat & light a home, and washing clothes was a much more arduous chore. A white dress would be ruined in a single day with the lifestyle of the majority of the population. The clothes of the working class had to be practical and sturdy. The frivolity of a dress that could only be worn once, or even only on special occasions, was not one most could afford. Wearing white meant you had a life of luxury where you didn't have to worry about getting dirty and could afford servants to do all those pesky household chores for you and to clean that dress when inevitably got stained.
Well at least she gets to wear a better color.
As someone who works at Kroger, the 4 for $5 is a roundabout way of saying they're $1.25 each, so buying 3 of them still comes out to $3.75. It's a way to make people think they need to buy multiple for the price.
31:54 Sadly, there ARE way too many people with the "That's not for us, though" / "Doesn't apply to me" attitude & lack-of-thinking.
I knew someone who professed to be Green/Earth-Friendly. When I questioned them throwing out an intact plastic 6-pack ring, they looked utterly confused. I straight out asked about cutting it up (This was before we could recycle them) & he ACTUALLY SAID, "Oh! I didn't think it meant ME!"
Um, seriously? Do the gnomes come out at night, raid your trash, & take care of it for you or do the magic fairies wave their wand over it & turn it into baby unicorns?
Fun fact: there are examples of people teaching their pets to communicate using words assigned to buttons.
In one instance, the cat had to take a medicine that tasted bad. She obviously refused, even when hidden in treats. Then they switched tactics, added a new button, "medicine" and explained that "medicine help ouch bye" and "medicine then food". The cat took the medicine by herself without a fuss a few days later.
Then a few months later they once forgot to give her the medicine, and the cat pressed the "medicine" button twice to remind them :D
girl... these stories are all, at best, people encouraging their pets to press buttons and then recording it, or more likely, totally fake
@@capybaraandwatermelonenjoy8208animals are smarter than you think.
@@capybaraandwatermelonenjoy8208 fwiw, you CAN train a cat to do something like ring a bell for food. It's not even that hard. The key is more about associating an action with a reward. I doubt that the language actually did much, if anything, but even a cat can be taught that "when I do this, that will happen", particularly if the thing that happens is "get delicious food".
Heck, you could probably train me to do something silly for delicious food if you really wanted to, and I'm an idiot! :P
@PenguinLord10 same, honestly. My nickname over the years is Kat. When people ask why, I say, "One part because I can easily sneak up on people without meaning to. One part because if you feed me enough times, I respond to whatever you call me."
@@capybaraandwatermelonenjoy8208 Bro, there are plenty of vlogs on youtube of people interacting with their cats that way.
It's mostly cats pressing "food" or "hungry" and then their owner going "food" + "later" and the cat pressing "mad" a couple of times, but still. Actually plausible. I've seen a cat be bothered by construction sounds next-door and pressing "what ?" + "noise" and then "ouch".
Cats are actually pretty smart, it's just really hard to know because they have no interest in doing smart things. If you have a very food-motivated cat, you can really train them to do fairly complex stuff.
You know, the last time we humans in America decided a predator had no business existing on our planet, we wiped out almost the entire wolf population in the States and then proceeded to freak the heck out when the natural consequences of an out of control deer population happened. We have these checks and balances in nature for a reason 🤦♀️
A healthy wolf population leads to a generally healthy every thing else in American forest and wild life
all problems should be solved with wolves
@@6Shots_ofEspresso Oh, your boss isn’t paying you enough? *release the wolves.*
I feel this so much. The deer are completely out of control, and then people whine about animal cruelty when people hunt them? What's really cruel is the fact we killed their PREDATORS, causing their population to skyrocket til they A) starve to death, and/or B) have huge outbreaks of disease. I don't hunt, I could never stomach it, but my opinion is that if you eat what you kill, you're doing the right thing.
Plus there's bow hunting, which is *undeniably* awesome.
For humans the check was disease and we are slowly removing those . I despair for the future of our race and our stewardship of this planet
29:09 as a vet tech I’ve had to explain to vegan cat owners, that cats cannot be vegan as they are what we call, obligate carnivores, and do not create their own taurine so they get it from the meat of their meal. Even with supplemental taurine cats, usually die sooner.
14:14 mark, this is an actual problem in America. people are so unsecure with their guns they'll leve them in the back of their car with an infant or dog and they'll end up firing the gun
A big problem is toddlers don’t have the strength to pull the trigger normally, so they turn the gun around to grip the tigger with their thumb and well……
Steve Jobs was so smart that he wrote an IQ quiz within his first 53 days of life so that Albert Einstein could take it before he died. I'm impressed.
Honestly i think that figuring out your sexuality and/or gender should be considered part of puberty. Like, you're getting to know your body, you're in that phase where you're starting to get crushes, you're body starts changing, and you begin to mature mentally. All of that has to do with who you are attracted to (or not attracted to) and what gender you feel most comfortable with. It shouldn't be seen as such a taboo thing for teenagers to suddenly start talking about LGBTQ+ topics, its part of learning who you are.
All of this is coming from a teenager so im not the most wise person but i really believe this with all my heart
I mean yeah Ig that checks out
There's nothing wrong with discussing love and gender identity at any age.
@@charmscale yes, I just put the teenage part in there since some people are like 'The kids are getting all that stuff from trends online'
^^
You have a point, it would be good for it to be a normal part of teenage to learn about the different orientations and gender stuff too, and figure it out with plenty of time and hopefully, support too. For it to be something that everyone does. It would help people not see cishet as the default, and make kids generally aware of the different orientations, so even if they're cis and straight, when they encounter someone who's not, it won't be a new or unknown thing to them. Might actually be a really good way to combat prejudices and help people with currently lesser known orientations not have to explain their existence every time they meet a new person that they wanted to share that part of themselves with😅
As someone who grew up not knowing any info about lgbt stuff - 'gay' was a swear and you only might have heard what it actually meant from gossip in school hallways - I never understood why I was so full of insecurities and the feeling of not belonging, during teenage. I only heard my orientations described once I had already become an adult, and it was such a relief and helped me understand myself much better. I really hope kids nowadays can go through those kinds of revelations much earlier and that it's even just a little safer for them. I believe I wouldn't have had to basically experience my teenage in my twenties, if I had it more figured out when I was actually a teen :'D
39:10 Not only is this disgusting but the bible literally says that zoophilia is a sin
I bet the person who said about supporting zoophillia happens to be homophobic
10:10 actually, it has traces of truth in that statement. Tetanus bacteria is common in digestive system of animals. The thing is, after it was excreted from the system, it can spread. There is a lot of poop in soil, so wound contact with soil is still very dangerous in this regard, for example. Also, rusty metal is connected with tetanus not because of the magical properties of rust, but because it was probably rusting in the soil, and rusted metal is porous enough to accumulate bacteria-contaminated dirt, and still sharp enough to cause deep wound.

Fun fact, humans did use to have large canines. Some people still have pretty prominent ones, like myself. It's fun having prominent canines too because I don't have to buy cosplay fangs for certain characters I dress up as
Nibble nibble
I recently had to have most of my upper teeth removed so I was left with just my canines.....when I smiled I looked like a vampire. Now wear my dentures just so I don't frighten people. 😂😂
Oh man.
I grew up with a palate too narrow for all my teeth. My canines grew in a separate row, pushed forward by my other teeth. When i smiled, my canines were clearly visible.
Other kids in my elementary school stopped dressing up as vampires for Halloween because they'd look bad next to me who could rock it while still being able to speak normally. I did not need the goofy plastic teeth. I was so convincing, my friend group always put me in front while trick-or-treating.
My parents brought me to an orthodontist before puberty to check if it would cause problems down the line and next thing I knew, my beautiful canines were girded in braces for the next 4 years.
By the time they were freed from the braces, they were back in line with the others, and my smile became boringly normal.
It's also extremely inconvenient when I actually feed. Have you ever tried drinking someone's blood with herbivore teeth ?
It's messy.

The "No mental health in public schools" actually upsets me. I grew up in an abusive/neglectful environment where I was shamed for my emotions. I had to struggle with deep and harmful feelings all by myself from a very young age, and if I told my mother about these feelings, I would be shamed thoroughly. She would make me feel like I was in the wrong for emotions and thoughts that I couldn't control. I even got banned from talking to my school counselors in middle school because, "Other people don't need to know our business." Even in my freshman year of high school, a year where 3 family members died, I was expected to show no emotions or allowed to talk about my thoughts.
It was through my freshman health class during the maybe 1-2 weeks where they briefly went over various mental health conditions where I finally learned what depression was. I was aware of depression, but in the TV sense of depression was either dramatic and always a bummer to everyone around you or a sobbing mess, always clutching onto a glass of wine. Finally getting to learn *what* depression *really* was really opened my eyes and finally made me realize that the thoughts and emotions I experienced weren't a singular experience and that I was not alone. Sadly, coming out to my mom did not go as I hoped. She stated she knew I probably had depression, but she never sought treatment because she "didn't want you to be one of *those* children."
If it weren't for mental health classes in a public school, I might not be here. If it weren't for mental health classes, I might still think there was something wrong with me. Healthcare is such a privilege, and mental health is considered a luxury. If 13 year old me had never been told the signs and symptoms of my illness, then 30 year old me would have never known, let alone had the strength, to finally reach out and get the help that I *needed.*
Moms for Liberty are an anti-trans group, so what they mean is that schools should not be offering any gender-affirming care for trans-youth.
I grew up with a mother exactly like yours, and I know exactly how you feel. The amount of toxicity in “I don’t want you to become one of *those* children” is palpable, and I can practically hear my own mother saying it. In fact, I’m pretty sure she said something similar when I came out
Power to you. It's so wonderful you were able to eventually be exposed to the truth of your experience. Hope you're doing better, from someone who also struggles with depression.
When I was a kid and came out to my father about it he brushed it off going on a rant about how he couldn't understand why so many kids seem to have it now days. No acknowledgement, just continued to treat me horribly as many narcissistic parents do.
Curious… was your mom a boomer or gen x by any chance and was she a single/one parent unit parent? I feel like this is such a specific type of female abuse that I have actually seen happen to a lot of people and I wonder if it’s just the age bracket or what
What kind of child did she not want you to become? A mentally healthy one?

To be fair, the early wedding dresses in Europe used to be black. The best dress a person generally owned was a black sunday dress, which would have been what they wore for their wedding too. There definitely were no separate dresses for weddings for a layperson. White wedding dress is quite a modern invention. Yes, it has adopted the same symbolism as a babtismal dress or alba that is worn under the mass garments of a priest or a child in their confirmation. But the meaning is sort of laid on top of the trend when it comes to wedding dresses. The idea of it symbolising PERSONAL "purity" is near heretical. Alba, for equal example, symbolises clothing oneself with Christ, being dressed into God's mercy instead of your own "purity" or lackthereof, if you were to believe in such thing. The core Christian belief being God has decided to not look at your shortcomings but looks at you through Jesus instead, views any human through Christ's actions and death on earth. In other words, it seems sacrilegious to claim your own purity has any value being bragged in front of God in any Christian denomination. If one assignes some symbolism onto wedding garments, it most definitely shouldn't be a totally made up sexual status of a woman as if it makes one any less pure in front of God. But again, it's pretty arbitrary anyway since what you are wearing doesn't make marrieage any less legally valid or any less sacret in any church. Marriage is first and foremost a legal contract all around the world, not something that effects your salvation in Christian doctrine.
White wedding dresses became a thing literally because Queen Victoria wore a white dress on her wedding, and the nobles went crazy for it and started doing it too. That’s it. That’s the whole reason.
@@Tioko As I said. The meanings we associate to it today are layed on top of the trend that originally had no theological symbolism.
@@AammaK@Tioko you’re both right. White wedding dresses were used to symbolize a woman’s chastity, “purity”, and transition to married life over 2,000 years ago with the Romans. White wedding dresses also came into fashion later as a show of wealth amongst nobles and Queen Victoria made them very fashionable.

21:07 "They think contraception is bad now?"
They always have. That''s the whole point. The anti-abortion crowd came from the abstinence-only sex education . And if you've seen any of those, they literally say that abort is bad, but so is sex before marriage, divorce and all contraception INCLUDING CONDOMS (I think the line was "It promote sex before marriage." or some BS). Growing up in the 80's and 90's, you heard this a lot. It sounded just as crazy back then as it does now.
Yup. Yuuuuup. Did you ever encounter the abstinence-only sex ed program that said that if you were sexually active, the only way to prevent STIs was to douse your genitals with Lysol? That one was a personal favorite. (I used to collect the batshit programs from the 80s.)
Evangelicals didn't care about abortion, originally. They were more upset about desegregation in the 60's, but couldn't get as many people in the pews with that, so they hired an advertising guy to help find a way to "reach" new congregants. His solution? Make anti-abortion your message. It worked. Now most of these morons don't even realize the abortion stance was never originally part of their religion. It's all lies.

I don't have the words to explain how sad this makes me. Animals love people and telling someone to leave them in a shelter alone until they die... hurts my heart.
33:27 Actually, black probably is the color they’re expecting her to wear. My grandparents had my uncle before they were legally allowed to get married. Their conservative catholic community forced them to when they were of age and my grandmother had to wear a black dress so everyone could see her “impurity”. This was around 1950, insane that there’s still people who think like that.
I liked when people pointed out you can see the “boyfriend walked out after gf looked through his phone” story two ways. Because yeah, I saw it the second way, that he felt violated and that was the end. I tried for like two years to make that friendship work, but much like the Redditor said, I should’ve just ended it right when they moved out at least. Things only got way worse. Someone violating your privacy to assuage their own insecurities is a huge red flag.
This. So much this. The kind of people who don't respect privacy are the kind of people who don't respect other people AT ALL. My mother was one of these. I went no-contact years ago and I feel so much more confident to just be myself and exist now. Don't keep these people around.

32:35 originally in western culture a womans wedding dress was just her best dress, no matter the colour. The more money they had, the more elaborate (and potentially more colourful) the dress was.
This changed when Queen Victoria decided on a white dress in her wedding, which then was obviously copied by everyone else because she did it. The white wedding dress was just a fashion statement that caught on and became traditional and has nothing to do with religion or purity, those symbolisms were added later.
And at least here in Sweden black wedding dresses was a sign of status and wealth in the 1500:s and 1600:s since black colored fabric was very expensive

Apparently she had actually slept with the two guys during that party, but then the guy she liked saw her either going in or leaving the room (I can't remember which) with the guys she accused, so she accused them to make her crush not think less of her for sleeping around.
So yes this is obviously a horrible person who did a horrible thing and I do not want to take away from that in any way shape or form, but the fact that there's still such a stigma around women enjoying adult fun at their leisure that someone felt this was the best course of action to "save face" is almost as sickening.
@@HobGunganthe whole system needs an overhaul. Let’s all be Ace until we work out at least HALF of this stuff. Similar happened with an ex friend of mine. We are both gay, but he got caught in college on a date with his then boyfriend. About a week later, we started hearing rumors that he was “actually assaulted by that f-slur” and the rest of my friends and I were PISSED. We were wondering where “Mike” went only to find out he withdrew from the school due to the rumors. That ex friend was so afraid of people finding out that he was gay, he spread rumors about the love of his life at the time SA’d him in an Applebees and other guys too. Yes…that friend also created false accusations for other guys, which also out’d them. All to save if his own skin…. He came out a month later and made a huge deal about it, pretty much demanding celebrations. We ghosted him so hard and are not sorry to this day.
And after pleading guilty to lesser charges where she only had to serve a year in jail, and then three on probation, she recently tried to have the length of time on probation changed to a year. A judge shot that down FAST.
@@HobGungan Well, in this case, it was probably more that her sleeping with those two guys with him around would make her crush assume she wasn't into him, so I don't think it's really about slut-shaming in this case.
32:28 anyone else imagine “water dehydrates you” guy literally pulling 20 more out of his butt like a clown preforming a magic trick.
7:15 yes because a first world country needs more help than a country suffering war consequences and a blockade
Correct.
They’ve always been against abortion. My grandparents were missionaries and had 6 kids who all grew up super messed up because my grandparents hated kids. After the sixth kid they gave in and got contraceptives. They had to find new sponsors. 😂
I'm surprised that, in the birth rate decline discussion, no one mentioned that birth control is pretty new. My grandma literally didn't want kids but wanted to bang
There was birth control in Roman times, didn't always work and some theories were never going to work. But some did, while a french letter has been around for centuries as well.
@@ABC1701A there are a shitload of historical birth controle methods. almost all at the burden of the person with the uterus... but they aren't reliable. the pill was a game changer! easy to use, very reliable and you don't have to trust the other person with it...
same for my mom lmao, both me and my sibling were accidents
@@ABC1701A The Romans literally made a specific plant go extinct because it was a very effective birth control herb.

As a chronic migraineur, yes, that mother worried about the shade of off white of her daughter's wedding dress IS in fact migraines embodied.
10:53 clearly this person hasn't had a cat before, you don't control the cat *the cat controls you* and you're happy with this relationship
Dogs have masters cats have servants
In Russia you don't own cat. Cat owns you.
32:55 that mom should not be invited to the wedding and there should be a bouncer to block her from getting in. She seems like the type of person to make a huge scene.
The part with allowing others to evoke emotion in you is giving them power of you. I can see what it could mean because I have anger issues and if I let other get me angry they have some power over me because you cant fight back
I really hope things are made right to the two players. The school should have done a better job investigating, and owe them an apology, their scholorship money back, and damages.
I don't expect the broke girl to give them anything with how messed up her life should be after this.
Why they haven't got their scolarships back ???
@@babafo6788the school probably pulled some BS about it being such bad publicity to have them with the rumours, because of that even when the rumours are proven false it doesn't need to be given back. They metaphorically cleaned their hands of the situation legally, which absolutely sucks.
I’m assuming they are a little to tanned for that considering the pale swimming champ never lost his until his actual conviction.
@@kempolar9768 They'll be singing another tune if these players decides to sue the stuffing out of the school and make it as public as they possibly can.
@meh2510 but can the two students afford a long (especially since the school will do everything to drag it out) legal battle?
Im starting to get into this mindset of lets throw pseudo scientists that promote harmful things in prison
Some of them do get thrown into prison, religious pseudo scientists sometimes sell bleach for people to drink...
Sounds tempting, but unfortunately it would set a dangerous precedent. Also it wouldn't help anyone and seems really unethical, but if you ignore all that, it's a fun thought and very cathartic.
I agree 100%. Like those crystal/essential oil quacks? it's one thing to be an idiot and refuse to take meds you need in favor of essential oils and crystals and get yourself sick, but the amount of stupid parents who get their kids injured and try to heal them with crystals and oils cuz of what they read on Facebook instead of taking them to the hospital is disgusting. Not to mention the stupid parents who refuse to listen to the doctors because they read ONE article online (probably written by a crackpot on Facebook) and think they know better than the doctor so they stop their kids' life saving medicine in favor of oils and crystals. And then the parents blame their child's severe illness or passing on vaccinations or some crap. 😢
The poor kids.
