Cats don't follow you around and don't beg for love? Hahaha you wish! My cat used to climp up on my desk and sleep on my books while I was trying to do my homework. I wasn't even able to change the page! Just an example of many! They are attention whores and that's why we love them! ❤️

I will tell you cats in Greece are very different.Most of them are enjoying the outside fresh air rather than staying in the house because the weather is so Awesome and they are mainly close with people who are feeding them. I've rarely seen cats staying in the house while my long time stay in Athens.

a couple years ago, during one of the worst winter storms, I think back in February, we heard scratching and meowing right outside our door. So I looked and there was this gray, stray and utterly snow covered cat just sitting and staring at the entrance way begging for it to be let in. I wasn't about 11 or 12, but I vaguely remember having my parents let it inside and making sure it was ok. So we decided to let it stay for one night in our basement, with fresh food and water. The next morning, we had a little family meeting and we were told (actually my sisters BEGGED for me xD) we were keeping it. We then named it Tomcat, like the cat from Tom and Jerry lol. So basically, he became our fierce house protector and my ultimate best friend. During our school years (I know it's starting up soon again, and I don't want it to haha) he'd walk us up and down the driveway to our little bus stop and wait for the bus to come. When it did, he'd headbutt my leg and sit, watching us go on the bus, and when school was over, there he was sitting on the stone meowing happily. He'd get into fights with this other cat whom we never knew the owner to, but he was there whenever we needed him. But one day, we came home from school and we found out that someone had shot him, on purpose!! So my grandfather went to that persons house and told them off. However, Tomcat was at the vets for a good four days. I never slept well and ate very little until I knew he got better. He healed and slowly got his groove back. he wasn't allowed on the couch or in our bedrooms, but did I listen...no xD
Fast Forward to 2018, where we went away for a sports trip for two days and it was my two eldest sisters at home, while we were at the tournament. While driving home, everyone was quiet and doing their own thing ( I like to read on long car rides and look out the car window daydream scenarios of whatever the hell I wanted). When we arrived home, we had a family meeting and that's when I was told that Tomcat had died. he was found in our little garden all curled up in a ball. but the thing is, we don't know how he died. I for sure didn't know what to do...I just sat there and tried to hold it in...so I did, until later at night when I let it all out and I cried the hardest i've ever cried. I didn't stop until I fell asleep. I wouldn't eat and or I wouldn't talk to anyone...we had a small memorial service and that was that. I couldn't bear to look at his lifeless body. At least, I know he's in heaven now! I miss you Tommyboy!
Fast forward again to December of 2020, where I was blessed with another cat, a Tuxedo one. I named him Hopper (from Stranger Things lol). He has become a big part of my life. He sleeps with me every night and comes to me whenever he's hungry like the little spoiled brat he is. i'm grateful to have the opportunity to allow another cat into my life.
to all the animal and pet lovers out there, I hope you have found joy and comfort with your companion as I have with my cat. I love both dogs and cats! I know how hard it is loosing your pet, and some don't really get over it as easily, but all I can say is, I'm sorry and I completely understand the feeling of grief one goes through. You can lean on your friends or family for support and just know that you are not alone!

I’m also a cat person! My family and I joke that our cats are dogs in cat form though 😂 They are both super cuddly and sleep near me at night.But, whenever someone has food they will hop into their laps hoping that they get some. Hehe

I loved this! Chicken park is one of my favs and I’m definitely going to use your recipe tomorrow when I pick up the ingredients.
