Hi, It's hard to say how much would you spend depends on how many days you will stay and your travel style. You need only 35 USD for visa which you can carry. or you can also pay by debit/credit/forex card, must be visa card. Yes all visa and master card works in super markets. But not in all the restaurants. Some takes only cash. Gojek also only cash. So it's better you use some card to withdraw money there and also carry some IDR or USD from India. you will have to plan it. If you have flight tickets with same PNR number in same airlines then transit visa not required.

We (self, wife & daughter 14 year) are planning a 8-10 day trip to SE Asian country. Some doubts :-
1. Bali or Vietnam?
2. Any recommendation on Dolphin watching at Lovina Beach? Mt Batur or Lovina Beach is the confusion.

1. Both are amazing countries and must be visited. Cost wise, Bali will cost more due to flight tickets. Both have unique natural beauty and culture. But i would prefer Bali first as it's beaches are most scenic and you will have more emotional feelings due to similar hindu culture (if that's also your motivation to visit).
2. As you will see so many beaches already in Bali so I will prefer to visit Mt. batur due to unique volcano mountain. But choice is yours.

Yes. I had no experience and I don't know to swim also. But waves are very high and looks dangerous. You will have to have courage. Watch my snorkeling video in Indonesia playlist for more information.

when you say parents, then they would be interested in bali culture, then your need to stay in Ubud, which is cultural capital of Bali, from here you can cover most of the temples.

After we come from Nusa penida, we have to go to Ubud. Shall we keep our stay in Ubud only or continue with our stay in Kuta and travel to Ubud via bike.

Apka plan sahi hai. Stay in Kuta first. Then stay in Nusa Penida. Then stay in Ubud. Ek hotel me ruk k sab jagah jana muskil hai. Time waste v hoga aur koi matlab nahi banta luggage rakhne ka Kuta me. Ubud me apko waha stay karke hi ghumna padega because attractions are spread... Have distances.

Welcome to my channel. Hope you enjoy my contents. You need 2 hours to drive to Ubud from Kuta. So your time will be waste. And in one day you can't cover much. So I recommend atleast 1 night stay in Ubud. But if you just want to cover 2 places in or near Ubud then no need to stay in Ubud. Depends on your priority. Happy travelling.

Indonesia E-visa is not for Indians. You will have to take Visa on Arrival when you land in Indonesia. You will have to pay 35 dollar for that.

Driver charges are depends which part you are travelling basically they have 600k.per day including everything driver lunch, gasoline, Parking etc.I have travelled thrice and basically prefers private driver which can work like guide also.

You can spend much time in Nua dua, denpasar area, kuta, ubud. there are many temples and beaches.

Yes. That's also a beautiful island. Mostly to chill at beach and roam around by cycling and party clubs as well. You can reach there by ferry from sanur Or nusa penida also.

Thanks Anurag for your compliment. According to rule you need International DL. But in real no one ask. So every tourist uses normal license. Cops are not very much there or rude 😅 (in case If you're very unlucky). You can rent scooter anywhere in Bali. People will ask you on streets. They just keep your copy of passport that's it.
