The best part is locals particularly in Ubud are very friendly & humble, just an example, you go to any shop and ask them how much, response with a beutiful smile is "100K, but you can bargain 😀"

There's no strict rules for drone flying in Bali. You can fly in most places except temples, near airport and crowded places

In Nusa Penida, for 2-days tour, I see that we have to get back to Sanur at around 4 or 5 pm in the evening. Is it because the return boats are only running during that time ? If we return at that time, can we check-in to hotels at Ubud in the evening time ? Or, can we stay in Nusa Penida overnight and catch any morning boats back to Sanur port ? I am confused with this whether to spend 1 night 2 days or 2 nights 2 days in Nusa Penida. please help clarify :)
Hi Verna, yes the last boat back will be before 5 pm. Since you are going for 10 days, its better you stay in Nusa penida for 2 nights and catch morning ferry. you will get a good 2 complete days to explore Nusa penida, otherwise it would be a lot tight schedule

you can rent. "Officially" you need a international license to ride in Bali. But mostly no one has it, and they ride with Indian license.

There will be occassion showers in night and evenings. It all depends 😊 But it's offseason so you may get good budget. Cab is preferred. If you are planning for bike, buy rain coats in the marts there only and keep it in bike. Being prepared is the best way 😁

One question staying in nusa penida and gili make sense or I should do island hopping for both,as days I have total in bali is 16th flight will reach and 25 will come back.
Both Nusa penida and Gili are worth staying for a night if you have time
You need one day for nusa penida and two days for Gilli. So plan your itinerary accordingly

How is the road in Bali and Nusa penida? Is it too much Uphill /Trench/Sharp slop/Sharp curvy types like in our Shimla/Kula/Manali/Kashmir road?
Roads in Bali aren't that curvy like in kullu and manali, they are manageable. Roads in Nusa penida are a bit curvy and steep, good riding skills is needed there for sure.

Not very strict there. Not necessary until police do not catch you. Just be careful with all traffic rules. And wear helmet. Mostly they won't trouble.

1. Kana Kuta, Kuta -> very good
2. Nang Ade, Ubud -> Nice experience of staying in a Balinese house
3. Tridewi, Ubud -> Nice location with paddy fields around.
4. Lotus tirta, Seminyak -> Not good. don't recommend it.
