I am Chinese but I thought Filipino's Hate Chinese like literally what I've seen from the internet but When I stepped in, Nothing happend they were all friendly ,supportive and Loving. They always give us advices and they really care for us for our safety like the crimes there, thwy always advice us and that's why my Mom love them and my Dad made a business there so he can help Filipino's who wants work and sustain their daily needs. About the marcus issue there are a LOT of things u dont know.
He declared martial law beacause the filipinos back then did not listen to the government . And THEN he had an issue with priests,which is why there were a LOT of disagreement and misunderstanding of the people. My parents dont hate him they actully liked him believe it or not marcus had feeding, health ,etc programs in the remote areas in the phillippines the people who were in poverty marcus gave them free medical examinations for the people who were in need.

I'm a bit ashamed of myself for not knowing more about my ethnicity... The Philippines is so culturally rich and has so much to offer such as food and great asian representations. I remember wearing beautiful dresses, much like the ones you saw in the video. No matter the occasions, i often found myself in one of those dresses. I wish i got to stay there longer but due to poverty, my mother and i had to flee. If i had stayed their any longer, i would've been sold off for money by my father... None the less, I'm glad my mom and i are living a better life with my aunty and uncle in canada. I don't agree with the government, but i hope to move back there someday and start my own family who i hope i can give a better life than i had. Though i may only be 14 and have the actual intelligence of a 5 year old, i hope i can graduate high school and reach my goals.

Never really knew very much about the Philippines since the resources I had growing up in Britain is scarce but as time goes by, I get to learn more and more everyday and I find the things here in this video quite interesting.
