    Supply and demand. So many young people who live at home in asian countries that cant find a window of intimacy with their partners at home because mom is always next door.

    I thought the startup founder would say: So I got inspired to open a motel when I wanted to get laid and didn't get a spot. You know, all startup founders have a story about a problem they were trying to solve and it can be a billion dollar business because Softbank loves unicorns with inspiring stories of personal struggles with getting laid or getting a ride.

  • @warmpi
    @warmpi Před 4 lety +48

    not sure why they're doing a story on this. love hotels exist in many, many countries. it's not a huge thing in the US because young adults have historically moved out on their own really early.
    for most other part of the world where the kids live at home until they get married (i.e. everywhere that isn't the US and maybe the UK/Canada/Aus), you'll find love hotels.

But there are few businesses which have to do with love hotel that is called ‘yanolja’ as it is shown in this video. Living in North America (Canada especially) motels costs almost the same price as decent hotels if buy them from the right website... we would rather make full use of our money at the hotel and enjoy our time inside it and can go in and out until checkout. If we had reasonable rates, we would pay for hourly "motels".

That thai lady had taken to Fethiye Turkey for couple of months work in the nightlife there she told me. In China, factory owners that we make dealings commercialy give us our lover women and we visit alltogether Chinese 3 star old hotels for short time in Guangzhou China.
