Supply and demand. So many young people who live at home in asian countries that cant find a window of intimacy with their partners at home because mom is always next door.
The reporter makes this topic look way sexier than it is.
😂
Yeah i want to bang it
I'd like to take her to the love hotel for 3 minutes X)
Hahahaha
@@949surferdude 3? I just slightly shy of 1.
South korea : Yeah, good investment ....
2020/21 : .....🥴
We havve a lot of it in Brazil, we call it Motel
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
The motel industry is huge, just change the name and boom, unicorn
also we call this as motel lol we don’t say “love hotel”
Yeah, and almost every city has a "C q sabe" motel (translated, it is something like 'you choose'). So, when the guy asks the girl where she wants to go and she answers "you choose", he can take her there.
😂
Literally people spend billions of dollars having sex.
Me:still a virgin in Korea.
Feels bad man
@S C I can't deny that the thought never crossed my mind.
I thought the startup founder would say: So I got inspired to open a motel when I wanted to get laid and didn't get a spot. You know, all startup founders have a story about a problem they were trying to solve and it can be a billion dollar business because Softbank loves unicorns with inspiring stories of personal struggles with getting laid or getting a ride.
😂😂😂😂
Best comment haha
not sure why they're doing a story on this. love hotels exist in many, many countries. it's not a huge thing in the US because young adults have historically moved out on their own really early.
for most other part of the world where the kids live at home until they get married (i.e. everywhere that isn't the US and maybe the UK/Canada/Aus), you'll find love hotels.
We're profiling unicorns and soon-to-be unicorns around the world, and Yanolja recently recently hit a $1B valuation. 🏩
There are very few of them in Europe, which makes no sense. Many millions of adults in Europe live with their parents.
"DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH" LOLOLOL
I came for the Love Hotel.
I left pleasantly surprised.
Can't figure out the unique selling point? Simply providing hourly hotel rooms??
yeah it you are quick finish.. it will be cheap...
Some people find it kinky and exciting
@@gregoryho9307 I get that but turning that into a billion dollar company seems hard to believe
A Person it’s a online hotel booking platform as well
In Korea most of the singles live with their parents so they need a place to boom boom
Mom, I'll b back in 1 hr. I'm heading to the love hotel for a bit.
Makes sense if 80 % of ppl live w parents a hourly rate hotel is perfect
We need that here in the states lol
Wow. Seoul! 👍
They have all over the world! Just it has a different name
BEAUTIFUL BLONDE...BLESSED
There are very few in Europe.
We need these here
When I drove a small Korean village on the night of December 31, I had an accident. My car was so broken that I called a tow truck and I had to find a warm bedroom. There were about 10 motels in rural village of 60,000 people, but I couldn't find one. This is a real story 15 years ago.
In Dominican Republic is call Cabaña we love it.
3:51 Dramatic zoom 😂
Sophieee Evelyn this cameraman is drunk or something for real.
They are in Singapore all over the place. Starts from 40$ an hour.
Imagine they laundromat bussines too..full of wet and sticky blanket 😅
nash comp good business idea. Start a laundromat business in Korea
We need these in the US.
there's always public bathrooms
you may also want to search the spy cam problem in the same country.....
India has OYO
leafonabreeze id is required
Oyo and Lovehotel are same.. Korea is more liberal for adult requirements but India is like illegally all leagal kind...
OYO is for hotel of all kinds. It never marketed itself on love hotels if india has any that is.
@leafonabreeze it's a normal hotel but everyone uses it to get laid their with their gfs
@@hardrock342 but we all know what was the real reason for it's success
What an interesting investment into something that is more of a taboo. Way to go in changing people’s perception about this! 👏🏻👏🏻
You look so happy for the hotel.
Irvine,CA
So funny, this is sooo old in South America. Nothing new here. Hope they start making hotels like this in Australia 🇦🇺
I clicked because of thumbnail
You guyz should check out japanese love hotels. They are totally crazy. The creativity and innovation they have put into love hotels is breadth taking. There are crazy amount of concepts.i have heard some even have small swimming pool inside the room.
She is so beautifull and smooth!
I’m from Korea. We don’t think it’s kind of booming industry at all since it has been everywhere from a long time ago. But there are few businesses which have to do with love hotel that is called ‘yanolja’ as it is shown in this video. And just in my opinion, only few corporations will be survived in this business and also I think this field is already saturated.
can i ask, Hani from EXID was a cf mode for yanolja...so she was basically an ambassadr for a love hotel app? or is there more to the app
I stayed in a love hotel last time was in Seoul. Did not know was a love hotel when I booked it on Priceline.
Any difference?
Living in North America (Canada especially) motels costs almost the same price as decent hotels if buy them from the right website... we would rather make full use of our money at the hotel and enjoy our time inside it and can go in and out until checkout. If we had reasonable rates, we would pay for hourly "motels".
Come to Miami, Florida. It's been going on for years.
She’s beautiful
There you go...
Yeah
Why are there very few of these in Europe?
Irvine, California
I thought she was saying ee-nol-jay lol
There's a ton of this in Mexico. We call them Motel too. "Love hotel" is the fancy version.
0:20 wrong map of korea... you should include the northern part as well and also the islands
🖐⚡️ It's all about the progress.
Karen Gilchrist the reporter is absolutely gorgeous 😁
It's not $1 bn startup. Its valuation will be $25.2 bn in market.
The question is the sanitary done between customers
Please next video come with subtitle
are the sheets clean?
Its called OYO in India
Congratulations Mr. Lee Su-jin from working as a janitor to founding a billion dollar company!
In pune we call it 'budhwar peth'.
Everyone in this video has great skin lol
In the US we have that. It's illegal but it's here.
So basically It's a place to have quick sex, what a brilliant business idea!
This is pretty common in Japan too.
@@animerocks2468 Maybe China as well , but I'm not paying attention on this stuff.
Same here in china also ..... minimum time of 4 hours ..... its too common here
These are called motels just change the name boom billion dollars
So is it basically Yelp?
It depends on how you define love!?
Clearly a Sponsored video
No they just raised money from Booking with a billion dollar valuation
Most of comment here saying what's a big deal, it's just motel biz or hourly accommodation. Did u guys even see the whole video? They are not reinventing the wheel but changing old concept new and attractive. Facebook didnt invent social media. Instagtam wasn't first of its kind. And hotel biz is alot more complicated then simply providing a room with a bed
I have never been this early on any video 🤣
COOL
OYO is also love hotel😂
Korea, China, Japan seems to are more utilizing the fruits of capitalism. They have a BIG entrepreneurial spirit and less religious views. Well done!

Wink??
I would watch a show about how to buy goods online if this women was the host😍😍 She is beautiful
Who agrees the host took the love hotel on a test drive?
This isn't even a new concept. Is this the first in SK? There are several cheap motels/apartelles charging hourly rates in other countries.
Love hotel, pretty interesting.
Now all i need is a girlfriend and visit south korea.. 😂😂😂
We Koreans love fiercely ;)
It's just another OTA like Trip.com ...or converting seedy hotels into more upscale properties?
Hey report let’s love hotel together .
Love hotels with new furnishings and furnitures are always in high demand in Asia , as we the businessmen need to have affairs in Thailand with thai, uzbek, laos, myanmar, cambodian women in those hotels otherwise those ladies take us to old, in bad shaped motel style apartments that I experienced in Pattaya. That thai lady had taken to Fethiye Turkey for couple of months work in the nightlife there she told me. In China, factory owners that we make dealings commercialy give us our lover women and we visit alltogether Chinese 3 star old hotels for short time in Guangzhou China. I have met and mingled with 27 asian and uzbek ladies and 6 chinese ladies while I was on 7 business trips to Asia.
Looking at your profile pic🤔...i think thats the only way u can get laid🤐🤐🤐
This is not new in the philippines and we call it motel you pay for short time 3hrs.
So it's the OYO of South Korea
Please come to India
Is there love hotel in Pakistan 🇵🇰?
00:05 박제됬네 ㅋㅋㅋ
Betty Nguyen pix11 from Saigon, Vietnam
Vietnamese American
John Yoon Kim is the ultimate pimp tycoon.
Here in India "Oyo" is the rising love hotel 😁
No it isn't. You should check the definition of love hotel.
I found out the hard way last time I booked in one of those chain hotels. They are all bunch of shady hotels people avoided lol
Are u crazy? India don't have this filth
That's what DVDrooms are for. I think the U.S. should eventually pick up
Yeah, they definately paid for this. It's an ad guys, just skip it
Nice we call it Oyo here
Love hotels with secret cameras
Is it me or Anna Gun has either a younger sister or daughter?
eventually it is even for parents
to have their privacy
you never know ! 😇
great entrepreneurial project
remodernizing and speculating
plus marketing the hotel business
with a bit of "spicy" 😊
what is wrong with it ? 😎
In India we call it OYO 💕
It is very simple to understand. In U.S you can sleep with your bf in his car, his room, your room (even when living with parents in high school) etc. In S.Korea, most adults stay with their parents till they get married. So where can they go to have sex?
I love Australian females
Its briton not aussie
Oyo does it in india
She's beautiful for sure #reporter
In India its called red light district
The camera man is terrible. For what ever reason the camera is not steady
Latinomexican: It's called family orientated help your own family, And it's because of high cost of living or people just want to live single happy, they don't want to have relationship why because relationship don't seem to work now days for some people, so do your self favor and respected your self.
We have Oyo rooms in India 😂
not a boom boom hotelier...rather an advertising company that promotes boom boom hotels. They make money on advertising commissions.
so basically a regular motel
Change the name, call it Maniac Hotel
Well I don't think it's anything new... At least not in Japan.
If young people get jobs and stop living off their parents (and move out), this company is gonna be a bust.. but I don’t think that’s gonna happen in Korea’s economy
Terrible camera work
we have a lot in india, we call it oyo
