My singing capacity has actually improved by reciting the Quran with tajweed! So thats pretty interesting. Cause it impacts your vocals and your heart deep within. Which are both very important if you want to sing beautifully and with impact. I only sing in private, for my own personal interest. Looking forward to taking professional lessons one day in the near future insha'Allah.
Same! I was terrible at singing basic notes. But after i started reading Quran, i realised my vocal ability was actually a lot better.

Bro like if your reciting quran for singing purpose than your'e totally misunderstood. QURAN is the Book of ALLAH (S.A) not a vocal coaching book. IK it's a holy book and definitely it would benefit you vocals and throats but these vocals can be used in reciting quran and Naʽat

Yes brother, but in Surah Muzammil verse 4, Allah (swt) himself said “ And recite the Qur’aan with measured recitation”. Even the Prophet (saw) encouraged us to beautify our voices whilst reciting the Qur’aan
