- We just got done with our brand new 2023 KTM 450 SX-F build for World Supercross and it came out SWEET! Ben got the race bike looking factory- Featuring Mountain Motorsports and Boost Mobile, the thing's covered wheel to seat in some clean SKDA Graphics! I couldn't be happier with this refreshing build, to drop the gate down under in less than a month!
We're the Reeds! Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! After recently retiring it is time for us to start the next chapter in our lives and we've decided to bring everyone along for the ride with us on our new youtube channel The Reeds!

Iâve always been a fan and watched motocross since I was a child. I raced when I was in my teens but wasnât very fast. Later on in life I became an airline pilot. Just by chance about twelve years ago I saw Chad Reed in the airport waiting for a flight. I went up to him and said I was a fan and wished him luck. We had a short but nice conversation. He is a class act. I am still a fan and now my son is also.
I loved Ellie's comment on the bike, "OMG I missed you". You can tell she loves the sport. Such a power couple in the sport. I believe Chad will be the oldest to start a pro SX race before it all is said and done. In a few years we will be blessed with another Reed on the 22 in the pros.
I've been waiting on that Mountain Motorsports bike build! Looks great, as expected with Chad's impeccable moto style.

Met Reed at the Suzuki test track one day. I rode up on my yz250 and said what's up. He was really cool to talk to. Honestly always been one of my favorite riders.

So COOL seeing the "CHAD", Back Racing. Only been watching "The Reeds", a few weeks, IK where have I been, didn't realize this was for WSX... Was good seeing "The Dunge" racing outdoors this season... So, ... I know it'll NEVER happen, ... but, .... SX, and, Outdoors ... a"Vet" class, the thought brings tears to my eyes..........

I absolutely love taking my bike apart and reassembling it with every single screw, bolt, nut torqued and loctited perfectly to spec. I'm an engineer by trade and my engineer brain is constantly looking at parts to see how they can be manipulated to make them better for me. I will test individual parts for hours before I use them as a full time part of my race bike. I have purchased or been given sponsor parts that don't pass my testing and won't get used even if I get them for free.

Seeing a brush used on the grease drives me nuts. I used to build precision spindles- a brush hair can come off and contaminate the bearing.
