    The Galaxy Watch Active 2 as well as the Note10Plus and S10PLUS with Note9 are easily the best products on the market worldwide nothing tops these products. Samsung Electronics is technology and Android the creators of software implementations and feature enhancements.

    I have the 40mm LTE version. I absolutely love it. Perfect size for my 6.5 inch wrist. Looks great, feels great, all the features are great.
    I actually feel comfortable leaving home without my smartphone. Just a perfect smartwatch in my eyes.

    This watch seems so helpful. I do alot of workouts so hopefully this can help. This can also be useful for time, weather, video, calls, and lots of other things. Hopefully I could get this soon.

    My Gear S3 Frontier does most of the same things but it does one very important thing (to me) that the newer Galaxy watches don't. They are limited to NFC Samsung Pay. The S3 Frontier does NFC as well as (and most importantly) MST payments. If the new Galaxy watch retains the large variant and brings back MST I'll definitely upgrade. Either way, my S3 Frontier works perfect with my Note 10 Plus.

    Very good review. I have the Galaxy Watch which does most of these things of course, but my wife just upgraded her Gear Sport to the 44mm Active 2.......and I'm jealous. I thought I would never do without the physical bezel but I have to admit that the Active Watch 2 and its big bright screen looks great. On apps availability, seriously, looking at all the rubbish available for Wear OS made me understand why Tizen rather than Wear OS is the number 2 watch OS globally after Apple Watch. All the essentials and more are on the Galaxy Store. There is nothing worthwhile missing from a Samsung smartwatch that is on an Android watch , plus Wear OS itself leaves a lot to be desired. Just my opinion! And the Apple Watch itself, my word, it is terrible. My brother got the newest one because at last it had AOD. He was getting 12 hours battery life on his watch with his settings and AOD on. It's absolutely ridiculous. He took it to the Apple store and they told him, that's normal!! I almost fell off my chair laughing.

      @rrobertt13 My brothers Apple watch is just as bad as ever. He's selling it. You would need to switch everything off to make an Apple Watch 5 last even a day. Even Apple themselves quote "18 hours under normal usage conditions"! So don't try to fool people with your 2 days story. It's bullshit. You are either 1, an iSheep, 2, delusional, or 3, Apple gave you a special watch with a nuclear powered battery, and we know that didn't happen. Seriously though, nobody with an ounce of intelligence would swap a Galaxy Watch with 5 to 7 days battery life for an Apple Watch. I doubt very much you ever had one. You're just an Apple fan boy. Admit it. 😉 It's ok, everyone has their preferences.

    IMO - Good smart watch BUT tracking is a waste of time! Sleep timer never works. (common issue with a lot of users) and Fitness tracking is WAY out of range, often giving VERY inaccurate reading. but apart from that. watch looks cool. and has a lot of good smart features.

    I bought the Active 2 then went back to my Galaxy Watch. The materials are more premium, has a rotating bezel and the battery life is better. Also, it seems more manlier to me. I returned it and i'll just wait for the Galaxy Watch 2 specially since the galaxy watch got the same update with bixby. In my opinion the Galaxy Watch is better, not saying the Active 2 is any less. It's just really look and feel with a battery capacity difference.

    i left the note 9 and went back to iphone, mainly for the watch. nothing compares to the apple watch unfortunately. If Samsung were to make something very close, i would go back. this still isnt in the same league. it needs to google voice assistant to make it a proper smart watch

    • @brianmsahin
      @brianmsahin Před 4 lety +11

      Yes, you're right, my brother got one because at long last it has AOD. Unfortunately he also discovered that nothing on any other smartwatch compares to the 12 hours battery life he was getting with AOD switched on. Seriously, the Apple Watch is a joke, no offence, but only an iSheep could accept such a bad device.

      @@papimew2672 Yes, I tried to persuade my brother not to get one. He wouldn't listen, and now he regrets the decision as the Apple watch isn't lasting long enough to get him through his day. @@tamzhamz4615 A quality watch, like the new one with 12 hours battery life with AOD on? My brother was stupid enough to buy one, but sold it and got a Galaxy Watch, great performance and 5 to 7 days battery, 3 with AOD. I have it myself, wife has Samsung Active Watch 2, 2 days minimum with AOD. One would need to be an idiot to watch that won't even stay alive for a couple of days at least. this watch is a piece of overpriced crap. there is literally no useful apps for it, galaxy app store is a joke.
    battery life is not all that good, it will last you a couple of days at best. with the lte on and always on screen a day or so. if you wanna do some tracking, make a phone call or two with it, or listen to a few tunes or a podcast and such during the day, you're gonna need to charge it every evening.
    it has laughable 1,4 gigs of free storage space out of the box, so good luck downloading playlists from spotify as suggested in the video. hint : there is not gonna be many as you are gonna be out of space pretty damn fast.
    adding and removing tracks is a pain in the arse too.
    _-_-_-_- and the bixby, my dear lord, the bixby -_-_-_-_-_
    pros : it does look pretty good once when you cover the ugly shiny surface with a spigen or some other case and change those ugly straps you get with the watch ( I've got the leather ones with mine but from what I can see the silicone ones are just as ugly) , and the fitness part is not all that bad.
    all in all, not worth the money IMHO
