    My art store just had a sale this past weekend. They had these pencils and I bought 6. Came home and tried them out and went back and bought 14 more. They are just GORGEOUS! They made me so excited to want to play with them. The colors are luscious and rich. You and Irit, thank you both for showing us these pencils.

    I just rewatched this Video...thank you 👏. My daughter is flying me to Denver, CO to the Denver Museum of Art, for a Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera Exhibit . There is an Art shop near by, be still my heart ❤️🥳. I will be picking up several of these babies🙀. Thanks again‼️

      Oh Frida Kahlo I love her work, I went to a bug exhibit in London years ago, her work is fascinating! :)

    That color palette is stunning! And that burnt sienna 50%....oh my goodness 😍. I have so many watercolor pencils of every kind that I really can't justify buying these but I just might do it anyway so I can play along with you 😁 🤔

    They look gorgeous! I've only ever tried quite cheap watercolor pencils - once many years ago (can't remember the brand, gave the pencils to an after-school program), and I've got the Arteza woodless ones now. I haven't used the Arteza ones much, just swatched them out, but the difference in quality between those and these Caran d'Ache ones is quite obvious just from the video - I might well have to get myself some...

    I have to agree, the colors are stunning, especially for portrait work. I have Albrecht Dürer, but I can see myself investing in these Museum Aquarelles.

    These are gorgeous! I remember asking you what the difference was between these are the neocolor ii and you hadn't tried these yet. Would you do a comparison video of all your water soluble pencils /crayons?

    Beautiful color! That burnt sienna is a must, I have and love the 10% and the 50% looks like potter's pink. Lovely! Thanks for swatching!

      Irit Landgraf oh thank you for introducing them to me/us!! 😅👌🏼 Btw I need to check why I didn’t like the Faber Castell watercolour pencils, been too long since I used them and I know you like them and quite a few of my viewers also love them! I don’t remember enjoying using them but need to persevere! 🤣

      @@AlyonasWatercolourCreations I like them but honestly they are simply not as good as these... And once I tried the Caran D'ache I didn't really want to use my other pencils...

    Irit introduced me to your site when U did the corroboration. I just subbed. These r my favorite watercolor pencils by far. I got the set as a gift last year, and love them. The beryl green is my favorite. I also have their colored pencils, so I sometimes use both in my watercolor paintings. Lovely video. Enjoy!!!

    I have some full sets of Derwent watercolor pencils, Inktense and the regular ones - but I’d like to get a better quality set. How do you like these compared to the Albrecht Durer?

    • @AlyonasWatercolourCreations
      @AlyonasWatercolourCreations  Před 4 lety +1

      Geslina M I honestly have to sit down and compare the two. It’s been a very long time since I used the Faber Castell watercolour pencils and I remember not enjoying them but since so many people wrote that they love both equally I wonder why I felt differently. So need to play with them side by side. :)

      If you don't mind me suggesting, try to get them open stock before compromising to a full set. Get one or two colours from each brand to test them out and see what works best for you. I have full sets of Prismacolors and Mondeluz, but every time I see an open stock from another brand I get one to try... Great excuse to buy more!

    Is your Carmine Lake number 575? For some reason I'm only seeing Carmine Red in the Museum range, and that one is 575.

  • @evanwhite7898

    Sorry, a bit late to the party! Great video thanks! Could I ask, if you let them dry then go back and draw in the same colour, then wet again, do they layer ok, or do they effect the layer underneath? Thank you!

    • @AlyonasWatercolourCreations
      @AlyonasWatercolourCreations  Před 3 lety +1

      I don’t use them for layering, I don’t think I even tried layering. I know they mix well as they are water soluble, so I doubt you could glaze with them, I’d imagine they would just lift and mix with the colour underneath. :)
