Thanks Rob for the video. What are the disadvantages of going with the non-integrated No-Limitz V2 versus the integrated besides taping and a small loss of power? Are the weights comparable?
You get cleaner water to the prop on the start as you have not wrecked the foil profile on the mast. So it accelerates much faster with more power. If you run bigger foils not such a big deal but for smaller foils it helps tremendously on the start & also extends battery time .The NL V2 with the motor is apx 800 grams lighter than the Axis Ultra without a motor , significant weight saving . Weight wise NLV2 intergraded or not apx the same weight as the wire is inside the mast . The mast itself is super light and would to be one of the lightest high modulus out there .
Hi Rob, does the mast base have the holes to screw the mast to the foil drive box, like the axis have it, for the aluminum mast. So we can have box and mast one piece?
Rob, I’ve been riding foildrive on the Axis 82cm aluminium 20cm motor. I’m exclusively using it to ride in surf northern rivers. I’m think I’ll drop to 15cm I Wonder if 78cm or 85cm is the way to go? Hmmm I don’t hit the bottom too much (sometimes in Ballina river at low tide) but not an issue really? I’m 95kgs - longer could be an issue there?
Hey Matt the NL mast generally are an inch longer compared to other mast . So the 78cm NL is the same as a Axis 80cm and 80cm is my magic number with a 15cm motor all day.
Can always compensate weight by taking a smaller lighter board. Nice product! 👌🏼
Piros Froth Grade! Love it ! 😂 🙌

Yes it does which is so handy swapping boards or breaking your kit down in the car
I got stiff just looking at that mast 😂
