I've always liked the shifter knobs, my grand daughter just came up with a great idea for your next if you would do it. An eyeball shifter knob. That would be awesome.
After 4 hours of turning, the ball of golf balls made approximately 150,000 revolutions!
That last egg made with material is the bomb!
I used to have a Welsh Corgi. He would play fetch with ANYTHING. I remember him tearing golf balls apart. It was so funny when he got to the rubber bands and they would snap in his mouth. He would just go back for more. 🤣

Hi Ben, I'm watching the fabric project, I apologize if it's already happened and I missed it, if you were to gently fold the fabric in batches, or make rolls of fabric, it could make some really pretty swirls.

You should make a silicon mold of your head and then make a resin casting. Then make reain glasses and attach them.

You definitely need a large circular fabric cutter for your future projects involving something similar.

The 8 ball shift knob reminds me of the 5 ball I had in my old truck. I used a plastic pool ball that I drilled and tapped, no insert. Used to vibrate loose until I used some epoxy in the threads.
i love all of them but i think the 8 ball is the most awesome, followed by the coffee mug. 4 of the most impressive project you ever did! happy new year to you and to all around the world, may the new year will be better and full of good things.
I love the 8-ball, especially doing typography with a drill press!! Extremely well done (some might say the head counter of the 8 is a bit low 😉 I think it adds charm to the typeface). Happy New Year 🎉🎉🎉
I think it would be cool to see if you can recreate a jaw breaker using only resin

Back in the 80's, most of the public pool / billiard tables around here were missing the 8 ball or white ball. But there were plenty of nice cars with cool shift knobs 😎😭 Mine, like your 8 ball, DIY resin, but with a Ford badge.😆

For the last project. Have you thought about using something like stabilizing resin for something as porous as coffee beans?

AMAZEBALLS! I have a question though that you could really help me out with. I only really like making art items that are useful but all I ever see is that resin isn’t food safe so please can you tell me what you used on the coffee mug that made it ok to use? I’m in the UK so im just hoping we have it but either way, thats what I need to get to try & make a success of what I am trying to do. Thank you in advance. P.s, how colourful are the insides of gold balls! Who knew! 😳😊

Cutting fabric, Buy a rotary cutter. Then you can stack the fabric and cut away. Buy a small cutting board as well.
Third one reminds me of the bands of Jupiter. Too bad you couldn’t have included The Storm.
