I love it when Nicole helps out! The capital letters LOVE plaque looks a little bit like a kid’s project for Mother’s Day!
I really love the collaboration between you and Nicole Well done.
Love that this has become a family video.
My suggestion with the writing, write what you want on paper how you did. Then flip it over and where it bled through, trace it to make it dark backwards. Cut the text small enough to fit under the mould because the silicon is partly see through then trace what you want 😊
That was fun, Ben and Nicole. I like the marble best, too. There's only one problem with Nicole in the shop helping you. You can't sneak out her food containers, microwave, etc. without her knowing about it lol.
Bill
This stuff seems to be a cross between plaster of paris and resin. I love the bubble cube! Love the family projects. Great job
It was absolutely sweet the whole family took time to craft together.
Where his gloves at 👀
It all looked incredible, It appears that the letters lifted as you were pouring the base cast. I am really enjoying the videos with you and your wife.
I saw the letters lift when Jake poured it it. I think the resin had dried/set a bit and wasn’t sticking to the silicone. Perhaps wait to dot the letters until you have the rest of the resin mixed ?
For the air bubbles around the edges, run a toothpick around the edges after pouring to dislodge them. If you put your mould onto a small board you can pick up and drop the board to tap out the bubbles. You can make your own chips by pouring a thin layer of the arc onto some cling wrap, letting it dry and then cracking it. Gives you the ability to make any colour chips you like 😁
I love that Nicole is doing videos with you now. You both seem to work together so well. And the marble is my favourite too
Love the Love's! The imperfections are what makes it perfect!
I agree, the imperfections give it character. It perfect 😊
I use Jesmonite which is pretty much the same thing. I find the easiest way to do marble is to swirl a few drops of the colour into the mixture. Great video. Look forward to seeing more ❤
hey ben its me ben also love your vids its so nice to see Nicole involved more
edit thanks for the likes
Thanks Mate
do you have any ben stickers for a fellow ben@@BensWorx
I absolutely love episodes with you two together. The dynamic is just wonderful.
Great team work, loved that. Jake visits and Mum and Dad are crafting 👍💖The marble effect turned out life like. Thanks so much.
I'm shocked they turned out really good! It's fun seeing you and Nicole crafting together :D
I smiled all the way through. I really enjoy watching you guys create together.
Nicole sounds like she's getting more comfortable on camera! You guys are awesome! Love your projects!
What a pleasure to watch real family fun and great team work .. put me in a good place for the rest of the day ❤ thank you guys. Marble 🥰 x
It's cute how you're getting the wife involved on CZcams channel
I've used something similar to this to create stone dice, and it works out really well I'm going to have to find the stuff and try it out
my problem is that the colors come out pastel and muted, and I'm looking for bright vibrant colors
Do you know you can use Kool-Aid or flavor aid to dye your resin?
I like the addition of Nicole...and you two work together well.
Just wanted to say l do enjoy your videos and it’s really nice to have Nicole join in with you. Hello Nicole :)
Glad Nicole is working with you. Really enjoy watching both of you do these projects.
I'm really enjoying seeing Nicole in the recent videos! Hope you guys are having a blast with it!
love these videos with you two, such wholesome content
I liked that the "reverse" side of the marble was completely different. Two looks in one. Loved Nicole's comment about changing out your blue water. That's why you pay her the big bucks! (Hopefully) And why we love to see Nicole and her own creative flair.
Cool stuff! I like seeing Nicole and you working together on projects!
Really like these videos of you and Nicole working together on projects!
love having Nicole on the channel now, her energy is great and you two are cute together. Hope she stays:)
I like when Nicole is on your show. Thanks!
Yeah I love that the projects with Arc have been a success! I bet you could make some crazy marble designs like lava or galaxy coloured or more realistic design like you have done. Family crafting is just the best!
I absolutely love this video. I love that you experimented with this new product and we got to see all the trials, errors, and cool / not so cool things that came out of it. I love the way you and Nicole interact. You make this so much fun for us too.
I'm impressed at the teamwork and steady hands in filling both those tiny ziplocs without spilling everywhere.
Take the bubble cube and stack marbles in it and then put resin over it. I think that would look awesome.
My favorite is the marble piece!! Though, all the pieces turned out pretty cool looking! That was fun with all of you working together. Thanks for that! 😊💜
Thanks Mel 😊
Love the Videos with Nicole! She is Awesome!
Add it to someone's order BUT both of you should sign it, date it, put a sticker on the bottom!
Great idea!
It's great that this stuff is water based and cures quickly - a studio near me has started kids' classes using it for this reason!
I agree with the other comments, it is nice to see you guys working together and having fun and having a bit of back and forth as you figure stuff out.
Also, Nicole's 'love' came out about as well as anyone might expect for a first attempt. I'm honestly amazed Ben's looked as good as it did right away. Maybe think about decorating cakes if you ever get bored with just the lathe and resin stuff?.... or make a decorated cake out of resin. Whatever floats your coffee-bean mug.
Ah terrazzo! (Tur-as-oh)
We had terrazzo flooring in a house we rented back when we first got married. That stuff is tough as nails I tell ya!😂
The history behind it is pretty cool!
Maybe a squirt bottle would have worked better for spelling letters and flow control? Loving how much content is coming out these days btw, once a week is never enough projects!
"We will have eventually" No pressure, kids. 😂
My mother has been dropping hints that she wants to be a grandmother since the 90s. She's finally getting her wish in December (my brother's wife is pregnant).
Terrazo floors used to be very popular here in Florida back in the day. Many homes and businesses built in the 50s and 60s had them. People covered the original floors with carpet in the 7ps and 80s. Now its impossibly expensive, and no one can do it new.
I love them all but I think my fav is the word Love without the hearts.
And it’s always wonderful to see Nicole. You guys are adorable together!
The family project was so wholesome 🖤
Also I’m not sure if you guys saw it when editing but when Jake was pouring the blue and teal arc over the words you could see the words move/lift off the mould a bit which is possibly why they came out the way they did? They still looked so cool tho. Can’t wait to see what you guys do next!!
A whole family affair. Love this kind of content
Sitting lmao at you guys remembering when my old Aussie flat mate and i used to sit up for hours-She would pronouce it PARSTA and us English say PASTA, then there's Aus Yo gert and Eng Yogurt 😂😂😂😂
You two have made it a unique project. It is yours. Nice work thank you
I love Nicole's plaque I have been in a diabetic coma and now I'm learning how to give myself shots so now I'm catching up with you guys
Was great meeting all of you!
This is a cool idea. I like seeing Nicole with you.
Love seeing Nicole also in the videos!
I'd like to to see this resin in a dark color with gold flake and then sanded or turned to reveal the gold i think that might turn out cool
I really liked the bottom of the marble piece! It may not have “looked like marble” per se, but it definitely looked like a piece of art!
The bottom of the marble tray looks like an Al Hirschfeld cartoon.
Absolutely loved this video ❤ How gorgeous to have your wife in on your video too. Dynamic duo! Loved the outcomes. Two big Aussie thumbs up! 👍 😊
its been nice this last few videos seeing you and your wife working together x
I loved watching you two working together. So fun ❤❤❤
I love watching the two of you working together. Loved watching the jack o lantern video. Made my day. Kia Ora from Aotearoa
Thanks again, love having Nicole with you - so much fun ❤
Maybe use a small piece of board under the mould with a couple of blocks glued on for handles so you can lift and drop, or a vibrating sander without the sandpaper to vibrate the table
One idea is to pour the background colour and rear colour so the rear colour is the border
Overall i like the moulds
May have to protect surface with epoxy for a tabletop
I just thought, wasn't the one that lifted and buried the word the one that was cleaned ? maybe whatever was on the cloth acted like mould release
seeing you as family working is really ispiring, you are all so cute! for the projects i really love the cube, that almost white with some colors is just amazing. and yeah the marble effect is absolutely top notch, but the others are fine too
I love Nicole in your videos 😊 it's twice the accent that I love 😊
My favourite is the rock/stone, 2nd marble and both the loves are 3rd.
Great video and collaboration between Ben and Nicole!
Thank you for sharing your projects. Love the Love that Ben made.
I like the bubble cube, it looks like a stack of those sweet tart suckers.
My favorite is the bubble cube. What a cool mold! I'd love to see it appear more often from now on.
A great family effort right there
...now thats LOVE! ❤
Nice video guys 👍🇬🇧🙂
That was fun to watch the two of you work together. They all looked good in their own way. The loves were cute. The marble was my favorite too. The other one maybe add more flakes to it next time. Take care
These look cool! That marble one turned out really nice. I like the bubble cube dirty pour idea. The LOVE ones were also pretty good for the first time writing with this material. So cool to have you all having fun and looking forward to some more experiments and new molds in the future. Great video!
Loved the longer format video and the back and forth between you and your significant other great video guys loved it
Wow that’s a really versatile media! I’d love to see more diy projects with this. Like a table top to a small side table or plant stand? Excellent works too, Nicole, we didn’t trust the process! It turned out fantastic! ❤
Great to see you having fun working together
Impressive results 👏
It feels like you're back with a vengeance Ben, with a really consistent style and so kid friendly too. But I'm 34 yo and I just love the way you say cool because it's how my dad says it 😅
Edit - I'm unsure what makes this resin different? I can see that it's thicker but why? Perhaps when you try a new product you could tell us why you'd use it?
Hi Ben & Nicole. They all turned out great. Have a lovely day.
Always the best
i love you two working together!
I kinda like the stone bench one. I was not expecting that one to turn out the way it did.
Awesome project. .ove you and Nicole doing vids together
It's the marble for me...hands down! Great job and great video. Thanks to both of you.
you need to make the marble by putting a drop of color in your container and then not fully stir it in, then pour it. Once a color hits the mold, that is the color you will see. so if you put white down then try to add black, you'll only see the white. But fun try!
You two make such a cool team. I can’t help laughing with you, Nicole’s laugh is infectious! If I was to try icing a cake, my efforts would look very much like the “chunky” version of your writing 🤣🤣🤣 I love the marbled tray. The correct pronunciation of that word is “terratso” (like fatso).
P.S.: I have just purchased your jellyfish egg and I got an email saying from Etsy saying it’s on its way; I’m so excited! It’s going to be a present for my granddaughter‘s 21st.
Such a fun video, love having Nicole in the shop!
I love seeing yallqork together!! Keep up the good work!
Great video. It's nice to see you all working on the project together great family time
You could pour the black into the white....stir it once then pour it. That is a soap making technique called an in the pot swirl.... It can give you a marble effect.
Had a fun time seeing you 2 create. thanks and I love the marble one to.
The marble looks amazing. I actually looks like real marble.
I like the marble one but I also like the terrazzo one and also the love ones lol , what can I say I like the whole lot ❤❤❤😊
I love those trays.
Thanks Lynn 😊
the reason the love ones weren't completely visible is due to them picking up during the pour of the next layer. could use a small amount of uv resin layer to keep it in place a little better and you could colour the uv resin to add a line shadow to the letters too.
I love the marble one
Thanks Stacey 😊
So cool to see you guys both doing the projects. ❤❤ I liked the marbled tray. Great job!
When I’m doing resin marbling, I like to make a large white base and when it is ready to pour, I add a drop of the other color on top in a few spots depending on how large my container is. Then I take my toothpick and swirl it around a little bit but not too much where it starts to mix too much. Once I’m ready I slowly pour it in my mold and it becomes marbled while it pours. Hope you get to try this and I hope it works for you!
The texture of the arc reminds me of cold process soap making you guys should look at ideas based on those techniques
Looks to me that no matter how they all come out, you all just had a great and fun time together and that was awesome. 👍😊
The marble looking one was beautiful.
I think the love ones might have done that when you tapped the molds the blue seeped under the letters from the tapping, that is just a guess.
The Hungry Jack's Table looks okay but I think it needs more of the speckles.
The marble is my favorite.
Fun guys ❤❤😊
What a great couple!
You gotta give that one away. I would be proud to own that.
This Arc stuff is so cool! What a fun project!
