I'm looking for a golf cart with dump bed around 20.00or or get rid of the way
Super stoked for this video. Side question, i saw you do a 48volt lithium battery review and pull the wheels. i have an ezgo txt and am doing a 48volt lithium swap with a 600amp controller and 5kwh motor. a guy at plum quick motors said that will not be enough to pull the wheels.... my batteries can handle 800amps for 8 seconds and 240 amps continuous. whats your opinion on that?
Glad you’re excited and it sounds like you’re gonna have quite the setup. I’m assuming the Navitas 5kw kit? Based on those battery specs I would say you’d have plenty of power to pull the wheels off the ground.
With my normal battery pack I have 320a continuous with 720a peak and it will drag the back on the ground with the controller set at 250a max draw.
All that said, the guys at plum quick know way more than me. Just be sure to run 1/0 gauge wire from your pack to solenoid and controller. I believe 2 gauge only allows 200a max.

@@chi_stuntsxxx4413 No problem, my normal pack is 4 48v Big Battery Eagles. The LiTime 48v 60ah battery I tested was only rated at 100a continuous. With stock gears I’d be shocked if the wheels don’t come off the ground on your setup.
@@projectkarr jag35 has lev60 cells that can output 600a continuous - check out his channel - that would be sick to see you build a golf cart that could drift lol
Do you have to get extended brake cables when you swap the brakes from left to right in order for the bracket to be on the bottom of the break
I did not get extended brake cables. They won’t fit into the cable hangers but I just zip tied them to the bottom of the hanger and it shouldn’t cause any issues

@@projectkarr do you think the frame isdifferent. could a 94 work on a 91
@@wardcrosby9579 I don’t believe the txt was made until 97-98 so I’m not too sure how different the frame would be between that and an earlier Ezgo.
Do you know what year EZGO upgraded their rack and pinion?
