Looks great. I love your attention to detail. I wonder if it would have been better to route that negative cable from the shunt to the ground distribution block down and then under the ground block instead of between the power distribution block and ground block which looks like it gets in the way there??? Or shorten up the negative cable a lot and mount it in the first screw on the block on the left instead of the last on the right?????

Snap On is overrated and over priced. There's a channel that does impartial tests on various products, including tests and Snap On doesn't always come out on top. Some of the "lesser" tool brands do better

I have an 48v ezgo txt with the Navitas 5kw kit as well. I want to convert to lithium 72v. What solenoid would you recommend for that setup?

If this tool chest combo was under $1000 today I would buy one, but the price at Home Depot is $1548 before taxes. I bought the Husky 52" version for $899 before taxes and I should get it on Saturday.

What gauge wire did you use for the breaker and distribution blocks?

I have similar wire crimpers to the ones you have, they make a world of difference with making connections tight and secure easily. Keep up the great videos!

YES!...check all your sockets to be sure you don't have duplicates....seems way too common. ALSO....measure across the flats for each socket. I had an 18mm that was too small to fit anything. It measured ~17.8mm. I don't even know how they could mess that up..but they did. Pro Tip: Amazon does not want to send the socket set back (heavy and expensive to ship) and they don't sends out single sockets (?).....but they will discount your overall price (In my case, 30% off the entire set.) Good sockets, good price.

I'm trying to install an allied 105A battery in a Club car precedent. I installed the battery but not the solenoid. The battery tuns off immediately when the power in engaged. I did not install the solenoid supplied or the voltage converter, hoping the club car units would be ok. Could this be causing my problem?

Batteries aren't rated for MPH. They are rated for discharge current. The BMS in the battery has overcurrent disconnect built in the protect the cells. It can most likely handle 400 amps for 5 seconds or so. The BMS will also disconnect the battery on high temperature so should be safe. 2 of these batteries are still lighter than lead acid at 48 volts and would give you 210 amp/hrs. so tons of range at a very good price and double the amps for extream service. The package is not as nice but is IP68 waterproof rated.

When I was 18 and moved away from home, my big brother gave me my first tool set. I use it a lot and think of him every time I do. Only took me another 20 years but I just bought my first house and use it now more than ever 😂

@Project Karr - Did you use 2014+ rocker panels with the Storm body kit? Only ones I've found on the internet for pre 2014 EZGOs are the diamondplate ones or direct replacements that have the chrome inlay piece like you originally had.

In that GW set, I’d swap the ratchets out. The 3/8 I’d replace with the 90t compact head from them. That Dewalt set missing a 10mm is the single dumbest skip I’ve ever seen. The 14mm skipped in a Kobalt set I have is the runner up to that. I have one of the dark chrome Craftsman ratchets and it has the heaviest back drag of any single 3/8 or 1/2 ratchet I’ve ever encountered.

Navitas 5k? If I want 50mph with 18" tires will I be over reving the motor? rpm's?
