Did you know that Albert Einstein not only carried Rett Syndrome...his sperm introduced Rett's Syndrome into the greater Gene Pool? All cases of Rett Syndrome trace back to Einstein and his X-Y balanced translocation that he passed down in his sperm, spme balanced, some carrying the unbalanced translocation with Retts on it, via the Human Eugenics Breeding Program. Their science was so terrible that instead of Reducing Mental Retardation, (as the whole Eugenics Enterprise was intended to do....to sterilize those with "bad genes"...including Jews under the Nazi's, etc....and to replace those "bad genes" with "good genes" from white male donors that the Eugenecists imagined were "geniuses" like G. Stanley Hall and Teddy Roosevelt and my darling grandpapa and his younger half brother, who were also sperm donors for their program), in fact the Eugenics Breeding Program, unbeknownst to them, actually SPREAD epilepsy, autism, and mental retardation around the world, because they, the Eugenecist "scientists", didn't understand the real genetic roots of those conditions.
The fact is that many of the "good genes" and the "bad genes" are The Same Genes. These genes cause Genius in Single Copy, and Epilepsy, autism, and mental retardation in Double Copy. The way hereditary hemoglobinopathies, such as Sickle Cell Anemia and Beta thallassemia and Blackfann Diamond Anemia, cause Malaria Resistance and good health in Single Copy but Severe Anemic Disease in Double Copy.
The Eugenicists didn't know that. So they spread MR and Epilepsy all around the world via their "genius" sperm donors, many of whom CARRIED epilepsy and mental retardation genes in single copy. Now that's arrogance. Not mere immorality. (We all know that the Nazi's were immoral...nowadays, anyway. But they were also Dead Wrong in their science. Which was also, by the way, used as a "scientific" defense of "white supremacy". Just so you know.)
And there are loads, even to this day, of Faculty Members in the midwest who still believe that rubbish, fyi, and who would even swear by it. To paraphrase Robert Burns the poet,: "May the good Lord protect us from Boogies and Beasties and Psychologists who still Believe in the Eugenics of White Supremacy!

I've always wondered what my skillset would be called, I had no clue spatial intelligence was a thing. I have an uncanny ability to navigate new locations and I can remember them flawlessly just by passing through the first time and navigate them back easily, this happens in video games and irl. I'm also a very heavy kinesthetic person and these two combined lead me to wanting to be hands on with most things and make me dislike academics most of the time.

The reason you had no clue about that is because it isn't a thing. There is just one type of intelligence. There are, however, five other personality traits, and there are personal preferences, which to the best of my knowledge can come in all kinds of variations. If there is one thing that you are really good at, chances are you are good at a lot of others, too, if you apply yourself. So maybe you are generally smart, and this one thing just stands out to you because other people you know suck at it.

You would go nuts reading about real cognitive psychology. This theory of intelligence 9 is not quite science, it is more of an arbitrary classification that would please people and sell books. But these skills you possess are widely studied and solidly built into the complex set of cognitive abilities that make up what we might more objectively call: Intelligence.
The Dunning-Kruger effect is where people with lower ability or knowledge tend to overestimate their ability or knowledge. Some researched the opposite effect on people with high abilities and their tendency to underestimate their skills.
Am I existentially intelligent or just depressed? The ongoing question.

You have all types of intelligence, but the intensity of having it varies from person to person. Here are mine: (Strongest to Weakest)
1) Logical & Mathematical Intelligence - I am a very logical and organized person, and love game programming.
2) Musical Intelligence - I love playing instruments (piano especially) and still learning to compose songs. My soul just calls for it.
3) Spatial Intelligence - I LOVE puzzles! And I'm pretty good at visualizing things.
4) Intrapersonal Intelligence - I am very much self aware. I know what I am doing.
5) Interpersonal Intelligence - Yeah, I can understand others feelings, and help them in their problems if I able to.
6) Linguistic Intelligence - I like reading books, I am good at learning new words and vocabulary is intermediate, but not much of a fan of writing books or recording a journal.
7) Existential Intelligence - It's like I sometimes get lost in thinking, and then I start to think "Why am I even here? What am I doing?".
Not much, but u know.
8) Body-Kinesthetic Intelligence - I'm not that much interested in most of the sports. But I've got good motor skills and timing. (Plus I'm good at video games 😎).
9) Naturalist Intelligence - I do care about my surroundings and environment, especially cleanliness. (Keep it clean guys!) But yeah, I don't have any typical farmer skills. So, it's not the best.

to be fair, gpa is a fairly good indicator of conscientiousness which itself is a decent measure of success... although it's generally blown way out of proportion, at least on an individual level

The more i watch some of these videos the more i realize that humans minds are really complex i don't think there is a single person who really understands how and why we think the way we do
Programming
The way how a person understands is what happens to a person (for example) you decide to play a game and then you get an idea based off the game. One decision made by a person shapes a person in more ways than one.
For me it looks like mostly a mixture of Spatial and Logical/Mathematical. I work as a Salesforce Administrator/Architect, specializing in complex automation, so I spend most of my days planning out interactions between data inputs, outputs, and how much of that can be automatically derived from formulas. I have always thought it is ironic that as a kid I wanted to be an architect, but I ended up going into IT only to later realize that I did become an architect of systems and data.
Good content. It is vital for people to realize that traditional intelligence is not the only form and knowing your worth is paramount to having the confidence to achieve your goals.

I felt the existential intelligence on a deep level. This is SO me. It’s the ONLY thing i really think about everyday, 24/7. I’m a heavy overthinker and i’m studying philosophy also 😊

They can, but understanding, what they're reading is something else entierly.
Students these days are no longer people, but numbers devided into 2 categories.
1.The Good/Smart/Reliable ones
2.The opposite of no.1.
Grades don't show, what you've learned. But your ability to memorise stuff, before forgeting them and never needing them anyway.
That's, where the school system Fails, but do those up there care ? Not in the slightest. Can't keep up, or have other issues ? Need help ? @@OrangeDragon04 I agree with your statement, the school system is bad, and it really just feels like a waste of childhood, (In my opinion) Almost all of the Teachers are harsh, They say that you will never be successful in life and be like the people who work in restaurants, they manipulate us by saying things that can make us more stressed, and make us feel like we aren't good enough when in reality we are.
A lot of things we learn are not really used when we actually find a job, teachers who are harsh and say manipulative things are bad, instead of them actually helping us learn, they say we are a failure when in reality they are the ones that failed to teach us because it is their job.
Most of the times that we don't learn is because of our lack of interest, things get boring when we learn the same things over and over, I personally recommend teachers to show examples and make learning entertaining, by showing them videos and documentaries, and maybe drop some funny things randomly in the perfect time, sometimes maybe go somewhere like a museum in terms of learning history, maybe show some theories from their perspective about the subject they're talking about, I also recommend the teachers and the students have a little bit of fun while learning.
That's all I guess sorry for the rant and my grammar, English is not my first language.

It just seems to me that only certain types of intelligence is "rewarded" in life, while other is scoffed at and "looked down upon".

Plus, what about having to follow a certain "intelligence" if you know it's a dumb idea to think that way? I knew that schools usually reinforce one more than the others (while still doing every other skill to some degree), but if you know that its not your strong point then work your way around it or just not care? (it personally worked for me tbh :V)

I'd say my mix is something in the neighborhood of:
Start with a base of Spatial Intell, dont forget that direction skill, mix in quite the dose of Logical - Math Intell for all those long conversations about abstract and hypothetical topics I love to have with my friends who are into such conversations, then sprinkle some Existential Intell for the philosophical thinking (which usually closely follow earlier said conversations).
Sure some more artistic abilities would be fun, and Im envyous (not the bad kind) of people who have a nack for music or art, but all in all, its my mix. And your is equally valuable and should be valued by both yourself and those around you. Every mix is unique and beatiful!

The ones that I excel at are number 2,3,4 and 6. Personally, I find it great that there are CZcams channels so specific, yet the idea has been implemented in a simple and cute way . Furthermore, listening about stuff the have been frustrating me from experts that are mentioned here, makes me realise what my position is in the world, and that I am not just an “anomaly”.

I and many others think of me as an intelligent person. I am currently working as a theoretical physicist, I speak 3 languages fluently, and I'm a top athlete. With the exception of musical intelligence, I possess all the intelligence listed in this video.
To avoid any misunderstanding, I say that I didn't write this to blink. My environment has never understood that I wasn't born with knowledge and that I don't have that much information because I'm blessed with it. The simple reason is that I have always wanted to know more and have always done my best to achieve this.
I wanted to point out that intelligence cannot be measured in my opinion.

I do have to say I can somewhat fit into many of these categories the most notable or likely ones would be probably logic and spacial maybe social aswell but I do carry traits of others so maybe I'm just really bored and have put time into many different activities and discovered the beauty in them all , but I do also love doing plot of activities mentioned with other categories which seems to make it that many intelligent people would share similar interests and might even get along well safe to say I enjoyed this video thanks for the really exciting thought oh different types of intelligence and for all the cute art you made keep up the good work

I feel like school doesn't nurture more creative, musical etc types of intelligence. Most of it now is just math, history and science. Ugh.

I do music in school but not much tbh
If a kid is good at math, they'll push them to science or computer classes. If a kid has a good arm, they'll bend over backward to get them into sports. If a kid stares out the window or draws on their desk, then they are punished instead of taught how to paint or write stories.

I have Logistics, Linguistic, Intrapersonal Skills, and in general I am a strategist, and a force to be reckoned with if I was in war. I love solving problems, and spending most of my time alone or with the people I am closest with. I always feel like I am intelligent in my own ways, but either no one ever believed in me or they just shot down my dreams. I don't let that get in my way, and another thing is I like to teach myself, and I have taught myself languages like Russian, Spanish, French, and Gaelic. I also taught myself the art of war and have taught my emotions not to feel pain when someone I am close with dies so I have basically lost the emotion of sadness, and overall I feel happy a lot.

I have found myself in almost all of the types of intelligences:
Naturalist intelligence- I take amazing care of plants, i can identify a lot of them and take amazing care of them.
Musical intelligence- i think this one is one of my stongest ones. i Am playing 2 instruments Violin for 8 years and piano for 2 years, but i am an amazing singer and i can define notes easily. I think my strongest point is singing, because i have been singing for 7 years and i spend the most of my time singing.
Mathematical intelligence- I rememer formulas in like Physics very quickly and i am competing in it, and i love to memorise the formulas from math, i think that this type of intelligence is not the strongest for me, but i do love playing chess and doing a lot of science experiments.
Linguistic intelligence- For me, languages are something special. I know 5 of them Serbian, English, French, German and Japanese. I love reading and i can think in all of the languages. Sometimes i even write songs and i love journaling. I love learning new languages and for me it is not that hard.
Intrapersonal Intelligence- A lot of people call m quiet and very frequently i get lost in my thoughts. I place goals for myself which need to be completed, and that got me a lot of places on competitions. I study at night which some theories say that intelligent people love to study at night.
Existential intelligence: i alway ask myself the type of questions which a lot of people dont know the answer too like what is our purpose in this world, what will happen to us if like something disappears and most of the time i think of answers for my questions.
Interpersonal intelligence- I really understand people. I help my friends when they are sad and i am their emotional support. I can identify by their facial expressions if there is something wrong with them, i am good at socializing but with my kind of people wich are like me, and not some people which are opposite of me. A lot of times i love to talk about school because i love it, i love to study and be good, and a lot of them don`t like me because of that.
Kinesthetic intelligence- I have amazing timing because of music and i am a dancer. I have been dancing for 5 years now and i love it, but i ma not good at like football, basketball because i am not really athletic. I am very patient with everyting i do and very calm.
Spatial intelligence- I am a really good painter and i love solving puzzles. It takes me a lot less time to do it than other people. I am really good at remembering directions and i navigate easily.

Definitely identify with spatial intelligence. There might be some others too, but can’t fully put my finger on them. Great video vey informative.
number 5 - is my most pronounced intelligence. I understand people easily and know what to say and what to do when they are around (or not to say/do).
Then goes number 4 - I try to find an explanation for everything around me, including questions like "why we are here? What is happiness? Is there right and wrong?", etc.
Then not sure if it counts, but number 3: I love logic, I love formulas, I like math and geometry, but I was never really good at it. I had B, so.... I guess it doesn't count as my intelligence then. The same goes for linguistic intelligence. I would assume that you easily would learn a second language and speak/write without any mistakes, but sadly, this isn't the case. I did very well in my native language though: I wrote poems and even books (not published haha), but now it feels like I lost that. No time for any of that anymore.

I"m a Naturalist, Existential, Linguistic (However I don't like reading only books for some reason), Interpersonal intelligence and Spatial intelligence (Also when I draw or paint I actually can observe pictures to paint). When I word something in a way that others don't understand, I am able to easily summarize what I said in very simple words that even 5 year olds understand. I also find it very easily to find people's emotions deeper than anyone else and somewhat synchronize to find the solution and get them through whatever they are dealing with.
Before you say anything about that last part I'm not a therapist but I try my best lol

Technically, we all have these intelligences. The difference is that we have differing intensities of each, so we should not try to only see ourselves in one type alone but search for the ones that we are the most attuned with. If we happen to have a clear top dog, then it is fine enough but we should not expect to only be good in one field.
Also, last time i checked (it as been a couple of years so feel free to correct me on this), IQ tests are only suited for logical-mathematical dominant types, meaning that if logico-mathematic isn't your strongest or one of your strongest then IQ tests hardly mean anything for your actual intelligence.
Well, I halfway agree with you, sir. While I do think trying different types of "challenges" are even good for our brains. Knowing a bit of everything doesn't match mastering one single area of knowledge.

Oddly enough, I can relate to 6 of the 9, and all 6 really jumped out at me! Naturalist was one of the few that really didn't though, don't really understand that one. I would also say I have existential intelligence even though I don't really use it any more, because I actually figured out the way I was gonna look at the world about 2 years ago now and didn't really know what to do with that ability anymore.

I feel like Existential and Spatial intelligence can go hand in hand, with how most Aspergers/autism have of a tendency to be curious and in need of answers, while most are also creative. I was always into the creative sides, with interest of fantasies, sci-fi, to draw and write. Yet, with my curiousity of the world, the philosophy of people around me and why things are the way they are, I'd seek answers that I'd than translate through my creative medium. Even Interpersonal intelligence plays a part with that said curiousity, to understand people, and with that, a childish nature to play and mess around, leading to much roleplays and acting even. To stand in front of people and have that extroverted energy, despite being a tad bit introverted, as well.
Yes, we can have more than one intelligence and they all could go hand in hand. But, it's nice knowing how many connections there are to each one for us. Where we all lean and where/what we're more keen to be better at than our other options.
If I'd have to rank each of the three I mentioned, it'd be Existential < Spatial < Interpersonal.

I mean I get that it's disappointing to most people you know if you don't uphold to a school's standard, but why follow it if you know that some aspects of school is outdated? I'm saying this as someone who also was upheld to a "standard" because I used to get high grades and I knew that *I* personally didn't want to be that way, so I purposely fail my classes as a big "fuck you" to those people. Nowadays, I still care about school but I never make it into a big issue, or I'll purposely disappoint people if they ever reinforce a "sMoRt" stereotype on me. It may seem kind of vindictive in a sense, but it's not like we can always please others so there's not much of a point than to just do what you can and tell others to just fuck off (which is different from taking constructive criticism/advice btw). Just do what you like, that's what I do right now but I also focus on learning for myself, sure they think it can land you in "better jobs" but it's still our choice so why does it matter?
