What's funny is that today I looked this song up as the Dark opening theme, not knowing that it was this song all along, I had already watched Breaking Bad from start to finish four times and I hadn't recognized it once
The Exile gus tried to get jesse against walt but walter poisoned brock to make jesse think gus did it. This is what makes gus loose in the end because jesse tells walt about hector salamanca. Checkmate i guess
I will never understand how they were able to make a scene of a dude getting out of his car and walking into a building this epic. Like how do I even describe one of my favorite scenes in the show? "Yeah so like he's in his car and then this dude calls him on the phone and says it's all clear. And then, like, he walks into the building. So cool!!!"
The peak of breaking bad was the last second of the show, never got worse just got better and better and better. Best story ever told in all of film/tv/game
Also the music is meant to be the dramatic irony of the situation because we, the audience, knows what’s going to happen, and it makes this scene all the more nail biting
One of the most epic scenes in series of all time. Basically my most favourite scene of Breaking Bad. Gus final walk, compared with epic, fitting music.
This scene; the scene where Walt, Todd, Jesse, and Mike are disposing of the dirtbike; and the scene where Walt sees the Schwartzs on TV are my favorites.
After I've finished whole seasons of Breaking Bad and the first season of Dark, I got pretty shocked when I've seen this scene 2nd time and said ''Wait, isn't that the theme song of Dark?''
This scene gives me chills...such a monumental scene right before his end. The song, the tracking shot of him from behind and in front as he walks, with such power and conviction. He has no idea it's his last.
Without a doubt the best Villain of all time he is absolutely terrifying with his serious face and the way he can go from happy friendly salesman too the man he really is. the fact as well he was on a plane once queuing for the toilet and the woman in front was so intimidated by him that she let him have her place in line in fear! I can think of no better villain send off than Gustavo Fring!
I'm watching BB for the first time, and was so caught off guard when this song starting playing because I literally only know it as Dark's intro song lol
One of the most genius things to me is the song playing is an instrumental of a song titled "Goodbye" by Apparat. As he's walking to the front entrance the lyrics are "for neither ever, nor never, goodbye. Goodbye." The show was telling as this was the end of Gus. This was his goodbye.

Is it coincidence that the two bests show ever made used the same song? That song its the opening from Dark! Thats amazing.
This was scene was epic. I had forgot how amazing this scene was when I watched it for a second time after not watching the show for four years. Everything from the look on Gus's face, with the beginning beat of the song sounding like Gus's heartbeat beating hard before he goes to visit Hector, to the feeling I get, wondering what he was thinking of Hector at that time. And that slow, but not too slow-mo walk all whilst playing the amazing song, which is literally called, "Goodbye", and the way the song is constructed, and sang is just haunting, and makes this scene so epic. It was a perfect sendoff for television's greatest villain of all time. It sends me goosebumps to my body.
How many of you noticed the driver's face covered half in shadow foreshadowing it's going to be a DARK scene and Gus dies with half of the face destroyed. And the song playing is "Goodbye" by Apparat. Legendary Send Off !! What a prediction !
Nice! Did not notice it before. Both this show and BCS are amazing at visual storytelling. Probably the best ones out there. And this is quite an achievement in this day and age where there is so much great TV out there.
The most formidable Breaking Bad's character took his last walk to the song used in "Dark", then he came back alive and stronger than ever in Better Call Saul!!! Absolutely brilliant.
This was EPIC. All season long we were on pins and needles wondering when or how Gus would go down and at this monent I honestly no longer wanted him dead! This scene and music are shot like a beautiful send off in a classic western film. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.
This song will forever remind me of Dark now, however this scene is beautiful. Love how it's shot so climatically because, for Gus, this is what his adult life has built towards. Yet in retrospect we do see it as his 'last walk' and it takes on a whole new meaning, especially once you know the song is called 'Goodbye'.
I just got goosebumps while listening this song in the background. Cause I first watched dark on Netflix and then later I watched breaking bad. But when this song played . I kinda knew something wild is gonna happen. And it did. I was shocked by what I saw.
The amount of times Walt did the “long walk alone” when gus was in control and now the tables have turned gus is doing the long walk alone when Walter is in control inevitably killing gus
Here because the show Dark on Netflix. Immediately recognized this song and googled it. Little did I know it’s from the best television show I have ever seen and the greatest scene.
Man the build up to this scene was so long and amazing, like not in terms of the video but with the introduction to Hector to then finding out Gus’s unrelenting hatred for Hector, it was building before anyone even knew it was.
gus is not dead he's simply going back to 1986😌
Edit: 2,3k!? gus is grateful 😎
I understood the reference 🤔

I think they are the two best written TV shows in the history of mankind without a dispute. GOT (Season 1-4 ) also in the same category.

The question is when
Nope the question is in what world 😏
Thank God someone noticed that too

This is definitely the peak of the series. The whole feud between Walt and Gus was just AMAZING to see unfold.
My second favorite is the end of the same episode (I think) with the damn flower pot.

A man so pragmatic, cautious and ruthless. His one moment of sentimentality was what killed him. Even Walt couldn’t have beaten him otherwise
