Yo, Bubba, glad to see your doing well. As usual I always enjoy those videos. Hopefully some of mine and my future videos can help you out as you have helped me....take care
Sorry, just saw this. You need to pull off the cover plate. Start by removing the screws in the bottom of the armrest that hold the cover plate on, near the courtesy light. Then pry around the edges of the cover plate and pull...hard. Under the cover are about 6 big Phillips screws. You'll have to remove the handle.
Thanks! I’m trying right now. I appreciate the video. I’m having the hardest time getting that little pin that you wiggled out with a needle nose I don’t know how you got it out did you soak it in penetrating oil?
@@bubbasanders8916 thank you again. I had some bad luck and a couple of the switches are rusted stuck and I ended up breaking the plastic even after a day of sitting in pb blast. I got most working though. Keep sharing!
Thanks for posting this video. It definitely just saved me money. I used this process on the window bypass switch as well.
You are welcome. And knowing you did it yourself is worth the effort.

Thanks for that clip removal info
Sure thing you're welcome.
How big are those circlips? I lost a couple popping open my switches.
They are tiny. Like for a 1/16 pin.
Wish you had included how to take the arm rest off lol I've been fighting with my for days. I finally gave up trying to remove it now.

You need a drift punch or a small nail. Lay the switch on its side and center the pin over a small gap. Use a hammer and the drift to get the pin out.

@@jsulic you are welcome. Sometimes a 10 minute job turns into a 3 day ordeal due to some corrosion!
