"background" music is too loud
Yes, we were enjoying the music a little too much when we did the mix!
I was thinking the same thingđ€Ł Wtf is it anyway? Sounds like someone was playing an electric guitar with a wooden spoon
It would have been a great video but your music was so loud it was incredibly hard to hear a word you said.
The jacket sid vicious is wearing is a lewis leather, the oldest and best leather jacket made in london
Hey thanks for the comment. We recently found that out as well, after we made this video! Thatâs why we love making these because we learn as well.
Oldest?in london maybe cause schott is the first
@@gabrielbelmont5364 Lewis leathers since 1893
@@TigreJoe1994 the perfecto style jacket is made by schott all the others copy it

Without Schott and the Perfecto jacket, none of this matters. Also, Japanese brands are producing Perfecto style jackets that are amazing and true to the spirit of the original. The YSL jacket is almost $5K⊠Worth it? Not for me. But to each their own.
đŻ
True! Schott's the original, still the best. Which Japanese brands are you liking? we'd like to check them out.
@@RadialTV I canât speak for Rick T., but The Real McCoy's, Rainbow Country, The Flat Head, and Freewheeler & Co. are a few off the top of my head. The issue for me has always been my build and making sure that the jacket fits right before purchasing. Despite me being Japanese, I have a bit of a muscular build so the Japanese sizing is tricky. Also, there arenât a lot of shops locally, that carry a lot of those brands. I have a Schott store in West Los Angeles, so my first leather jackets were purchased there after seeing which ones fit me well. I really wanted to purchase a Japanese leather jacket, so I went to Snake Oil Provisions and the Self Edge to try whatever they had in stock. They had the Flat Head which I loved the color and detail onâŠHowever, that cut did not fit me at all. I couldnât even get my arms in the sleeves. I was bummed. But I tried on Yâ2 and Double Helix. Both fit well but the leather on the Double Helix was better quality, fit was perfect with the cut and sleeve size, and the look fit what I was looking for. I opted for the Double Helix Innovator and I couldnât be happier.
L17 is the perfect jacket
Bruh imagine the background music being louder than the actual content
We did! It didnât work!
Please make more videos like this. Stumbled upon your channel. And just a tip, try to listen to your audio mix on different speakers (laptop, bluetooth, earphones, headphones) so you would get an idea on how it would sound on your audience's speakers.
Hey thanks so much for the comments and the feedback. I guess we got a little into the music and cranked it up a bit too much! Weâre working on more videos, and trying to improve the content and quality with each one. Thanks for the support.
Leather jackets to me is one of the few blessed creations in every century. All I can say about my replica of Easyrider Peterfonda jacket will live on
Yes, canât go wrong with a great leather jacket. They last forever and get better with age! Great that you found one you love.
If $900 for a Schott Perfecto is a fraction of the cost made by the other designer brands, I'd hate to see how much they're charging!
Yeah they can get up there pretty high. Sometime the price doesn't equate to better quality. There's a lot of other factors that come into play - fit, design, brand. Hard to beat Schott. It checks all the boxes in many ways. Saint Laurent and some of the designer ones do have that more triangular lapel vs the peak lapel of the schott, that's the only thing they don't really offer.
A saint Laurent jacket is over 5 grand. Itâs also not as good as a Schott.
I recently ordered the All Saints conroy jacket in ink. I didn't see a brown . I should have it in a week or two. Covid has deliveries running slow.
The brown is called Oxblood. If you search Grailed you might find someone selling one. This colour might be discontinued. Let us know how the ink one works out!
@@RadialTV Hey, great vid btw what's the name of the background music? It has a nice rock and roll vibe
Yesterday i just got in a Ralph Lauren Black Label biker jacket i love it, i got my eyes on the Mackage bike jacket the over fitted one.
Nice - how does the Ralph Lauren fit?
@@RadialTV man it's the perfect fit and the jacket is a size small I'm 5'5 160 lbs. It hugs my body and fits perfectly. It's a modern cafe racer with 2 zippers going down the jacket. It's lamb leather but it feels thick but very soft. You can feel the quality.
@@Tiger24kicks amazing. Going to check out some Ralph Lauren jackets for sure. Thanks for the recommendation
Damn bro I own both The Saint Laurent and Schott black leather jacket. Couldn't agree more that these 2 brands in terms of Leather jackets are the best in the business
Which one do you prefer?
@@Samuel-fl2wz if you want to pay triple of the price of the Ferrari for Toyota go for ysl. If you want porsche for porsche price go for Schott
Interesting! A lot of them are made in India |đźđł (Kanpur) and I have 3 biker jackets & I got it for 34$.
Wow amazing deal
Just for anybody interested, I'm currently accruing the funds to get a Schott 613. I'm a fairly short fella (5'6) and was a tad hesitant to get a Schott as I was worried they might be too long. I'm a little more confident in the 618 and 613 considering those are their shortest Perfectos.
I'll let y'all know how it fits on my manlet body, for the posterity of all other smol Bois.
@Super JLK nah, itâs just the form of the body, you canât have a 6ft guy whose body is not fit to wear things like the perfecto 118 and rock it
Check out all saints they have great jackets too
Did you ever get the Schott? Iâm the same height and currently considering that jacket too
@@derrickhance3045 It was a little short, actually. But I have a long torso. Having owned a Schott, I wouldn't really recommend them. For a few hundred extra, you can get a completely custom Aero of Superior quality.
@@mr.jameson218 what didnât you like about it? Iâm trying to find a slim fitting/ heavy leather biker jacket.
the Logan by Straight to Hell is a superb and lower cost leather jacket.
Going to check that out. Thx for the suggestion

Music doing ma heid in or am I just too old
Really surprised lewis leathers wasn't mentioned.
The best by far
Not just price, leather and weight all different too.
Yes that is true. Never went into detail on the weighs and types of leather. Maybe time for an updated video.
The music is too loud. I can't hear anything you're saying about the jackets, bud.
Yeah I know...definitely didn't get that mix right. Thanks for the feedback, and let us know if the newer vids are better!
There's only Schott. The rest are fast fashion junk! Also leather does not "stretch" lol. If it stretches, it is probably pleather or vinyl
Schott is number one! The original đ
Mackage all the way baby!
no honorable mention for rick owens?
Great article however the music is too load and off putting...please turn the music down.
Yes sorry about the bad mix. We think we improved that on newer vids. Let us know what you think!
MUSIC TOO LOUD
There,s leather jackets and leather jackets but its finding that jacket with the X factor or WOW jacket something that makes you swallow hard l have much experience of leather jackets starting back in the 80,s with certain la rocka jackets l thought they were very good but l recently acquired a biker leather jacket by a little known German company called la clothing co dusseldorf the jacket is called the civillian all l can say its incredible in its styling absolutely stunning this jacket has got the X factor and wow factor in spades blows all other jackets off the planet!!
Cool content but the music is too loud, makes it hard to hear the narration
Hey thanks so much. Yes we realized that after it was too late. We just put up a new one on denim jackets, hopefully we got the mix better. Let us know!
Music name please?

Save yourself the trouble of those fashion âbikerâ jackets and just buy an American made Schott. Most âfashionâ brands are made in sweat shops and use garbage skins.
Schott is number one! The original đ
Schott is the creator.. they made it in 1913
:)
the music is no background music and tooooooooooo LOUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
We got carried away with the volume!
Leather jackets aren't meant to be worn with dress shirts or anything of the sort but that's just me. I also kind of hate the fact that something that was once the definitive symbol of rebellion has now made it's way into high end "fashion".
Fair point. Prefer them with tees myself for the most part.
i dunno... i'm an IT nerd who happens to be a biker.... i wear my schott perfecto with button up and dress pants, and it looks great... just as well as my classic jeans and white T.... really just can't go wrong with it!!!
I mean thatâs happened with all clothing over time. A great example are military uniforms transitioning into the modern day business suit
While thatâs true. The Biker Jacket has become the definitive jacket. Thatâs become a staple for any fashion forward Man or Women. (Thanks to the American Biker) The Moto Jacket is now equivalent to the Blue Denim Jacket Causal. To the more formal Navy Blazer. The Biker has become that piece that kind of does triple duty. If worn the right way.
The music is overpowering what us bieng spoken
Yes, sorry. We definitely mixed the music to loud on this.

Anybody else feel the Saint Laurent might be overpriced? Perhaps just paying for the household name? Thoughts?
Yeah it is shit, so much better jackets
wiLLâą Like which brands?
@@TC-rx3hv Vanson, aeroleather, langlitz, schott, lost worlds, eastman, therealmccoy...
These are imo way better brands than Saint Laurent in term of leather jackets
I am a huge leather enthusiast (trader and collector) i owned more than 300 jackets, i'm not an expert but i can pretty much tell just by looking at a jacket if it is a good one or not and the st Laurent is nothing but marketing, lambskin is one of the worst leather and they are selling it 3500e, i mean LOL
wiLLâą interesting. Yeah well lamb leather is just not as durable because itâs softer and thinner. More lightweight and sometimes regarded as more luxurious. Me personally I like cowhide (tougher and lasts longer with better patina). Iâve never tried any of these brands but familiar with Schott of course.
In a warm, humid environment like Houston, Texas, where I live, a thinner leather jacket means more opportunities to wear it as we don't get hard winters. So All Saints makes a lot of sense here..
Unless someone is going to be riding their motorcycle everywhere, spending the money on an ACTUAL MC jacket isn't worth it.
What's more... The "designer" jackets ARE NOT real motorcycle jackets... They're flimsy and offer no abrasion protection in case of a fall.
An actual motorcycle jacket is going to be made of STIFF, THICK, HEAVY GAUGE cowhide, horsehide or goat leather..
And the sleeves are going to be about 2" LONGER THAN the average person would normally wear, and "set" farther forward and higher than on a "fashion" jacket... To accommodate having one's hands forward on the handlebars.
The REAL motorcycle jacket is going to cost someone between $300 and $2,000 depending on the maker and any custom adjustments.
But paying any more than about $250 or so for a "fashion" jacket that you MIGHT wear once or twice a year is for dimwits... That money could be better spent in the purchase of a bespoke garment of some kind.
Agreed. Most of these wouldn't be sufficient for riding. The only tough thing with bespoke garments is not everyone has a good bespoke leather tailor near them. Maybe with the internet that's changing? We're in Toronto and we only know of a handful of people that do this work. Definitely prefer to go bespoke whenever possible too as a custom fit beats something off the rack any day!
You should hire a new editor. The music is too loud, cannot hear clearly what you say, and also the music selection is annoying
Yes sorry about the bad mix. We think we improved that on newer vids. Let us know what you think!
I don't like leather jackets that have two V on the neck...........those only look cool for motorcycle people.........I only like general classic shinny leather jackets with zipper and normal neck
cafe racer style?
@@RadialTV my favorite leather jacket is black mix brown colorâŠ. it needs to be smooth and shinyâŠ.. whole jacket needs to be leather without clothes connect on itâŠ.straight zipper not diagonal zipperâŠ. with normal folding neck and military metal tags on itâŠ..
