Used to live and work in Ireland but now it's a desastor so I moved to Switzerland, I also worked in Norway and Sweden, which is not that expensive and people are more friendly. Finding a place to stay in Scandinavia was a dream come true.

Meetups help. You meet people in the industry especially recruiters or HRs who are always looking for potential candidates. Certification for entry level jobs are not needed at all. They don't really care about those for graduates, but if you have one, it is always a plus. Indeed and LinkedIn are the best ones from my experience. If you have a good LinkedIn profile, recruiters will contact you themselves even if you have not applied.
