When you eat filipino dishes with sauce, it is better if you eat it with rice in the same spoonful. Thats why the dishes have a savoury taste because its meant to be eaten with rice to balance the taste. Glad you are enjoying.

OMG superb video. Yea you guys need to visit Little Manila on Woodside for a more closer traditional Filipino dishes like Kare Kare which is beef with peanut sauce. Kaldereta which is pinoy beef stew with liver sauce. Check out some treats on thw Phil Am Supermarket like hopia. You could also try Red Ribbon which is a bakery owned by Jollibee and there are street food like squid balls and kwek kwek which is quail eggs. You could uae Ariel Viera aka Urbanist as reference on his livestream back in June 5 2021.
Sorry for the lengthy comment but this video is awesome. There are many facets to Filipino food and you guys showed many of it. As a Filipino I thank you deeply for the feature

No wonder ube root prices keep going up.
Even the white ube is now being sold out. Ube supply cannot keep up with the demand.
If you think the ube has fake purple color - it probably is white ube colored with purple food coloring.
Do take time to enjoy ube. It is becoming scarce nowadays.
