Seeing Ronda getting knocked out by Holly and Amanda never gets old.
never ever, in fact Imma watch it RN 🤣🤣🤣
The Nunez fight was actually kind of sad tbh!!! We all knew it was over at the moment lol
Yup , I just watched the reruns in 2024.
Any time I am having a bad day and need cheering up I watch those videos. Always makes me smile.
Nope the judo world hated her too.
Watching ronda getting knocked out twice will never get old. As a matter of fact, I'm going to watch that again after pressing send....
The 2nd beating was abysmal and she was a 3 million dollars punching bag. I don't blame Nunes why go 5 rounds, and I don't get at least 1 million.I know someone going to say she's not Rousey but so what I didn't think the pay scale was right she was a champion ready to give interviews. Both Nunes and Holms were generally concerned for her especially Holly. Ronda is jealous of Miesha looks. Poor sportsmanship
@BigBeaverGaming she lost in wrestling to Charlotte Flair and she is Queen think she should go to UFC 😆 🤣
Ronda still sold so much more PPV's then the other UFC-women and she went in there to kill and took them out in the first round instead of todays women MMA fights were they just lay on eachother for 15 or 25 min and drag the entire energy down inside the builidng, carla vs rose was the worst one. I'd enjoy the old generation ufc women much more with Ronda, JJ and Cyborg in it. i feel like womens mma in ufc been taking a step backward while the men taking a huge step forwards. This makes the events of ufc more and more unbalanced in quality, you got ur hype up after some men fights that are crazy then these new women in mma goes in there and drags the energy down. Ronda, cyborg and JJ wanted the KO's / submissions fast instead. I like them three, JJ is always cool to me while i chat on instagram with her, im european and good looking guy she can see that probably and thats why she answers. Hope i will meet her one day and that she can lay in my arms and feel loved.
@BIG BEAVER GAMING I don't either but Nunes sent her there. Because Rousey is about the championship not saying no fighter is, however to lose and cried on Ellen talking about suicide after 1 loss is not a warrior's spirit. Holms took her soul but Nunes took her to the graveyard. She probably was getting paid way more than those female wrestlers and it's not fair. But hey she can still fight Nunes or Cyborg both championship warriors with titles 🤔
@Sherminator well sorry but the sport has evolved for women not Rousey. What you expect from her the armbar. She had the opportunity to fight Cyborg but ducked her. I noticed you don't mention Holms and Nunes Valentina Scheivenko Elizabeth Pena Germaine de Ramandien and Miesha Tate. They are skillful and don't wear their emotions on their sleeve. I am surprised she is an Aquarius like me. If I had lost a fight inside I would be upset but I wouldn't threatened to kill myself. Either you decide to be a fighter or acting or modeling. Yes I know Rousey beat Miesha but somehow Miesha defeated Holms. 😕
Seeing her get absolutely destroyed especially by a boxer after they said she could beat floyd mayweather in a fight was so sweet
An mma fight I got Rhonda. But boxing hell nah
@i8856 Wouldn't Mayweather simply have ko'd her quickly in MMA as well as boxing?
No black person ever believed that.
The" they "is not blacks.
Mayweather? Ha! That is funny. She's too slow to catch Mayweather. But then, who can? She couldn't armbar him, so there's the fight right there. Would be fun to watch.
The best part of watching her get picked apart is how she used to down talk her opponents after defeating them. After both of her losses, she was silent. She was never as good as people thought, it only took one real striker to embarrass her and then the next took her soul.
What I saw at the weigh in against Holly was Rhonda realized Holly was not intimidated or bullied and it shocked her. In a subliminal way Rhonda actually said what she had just realized. What she really thought was Holly was sweet and innocent and a lamb brought for Rhonda to slaughter. When she, for the first time, looked into Holly's eyes she saw a beast that scared her.
To be fair, Holly, kinds scares me as well
Exactly.
Spot on!!
One of the best moments in MMA history was Holm's head kick.
Also Nate choking out Conor
I actually liked the first round more. Toward the middle of the round it got ugly for Ronda
And Nunes beating the absolute shit out of her..
Very satisfying. Holm seems a nice lady

Ronda Rousey landed no shots to Amanda Nunes when they fought. But Amanda couldn't miss Ronda's face, she connected whenever she wanted to till the fight was stopped.

Her head was a speedbag in that fight. Seeing her neck snap back like that OMG
I watched her early fights and thought she'd be vulnerable to someone who does more distant attacks. Turns out, Holly proved that right.
Yep. The division was weak but the fighters rapidly improved--everybody except Ronda, who thought she could make a career out of a mediocre ground game and zero striking.
Tate's trainers knew it but Miescha punched like a girl and couldn't do any damage.
@@Paul-vf2wl Yeah, if Tate had good standup, the rivalry would have been much better.
Rhonda would talking about fighting a 147 pound man (Mayweather) while avoiding a 140 pound woman (Cyborg). It was smoke and mirrors.

And it took everyone down 😂😂😂
@@petergarcia3373 LMAO. Her game plan was found out with the quickness and she was dismantled and ran away screaming.
Her game was one dimensional, but it worked.
@@kevinramsey417 For a very very short while. She was figured out real quick, and she cried about it.
Her defeat was a humbling experience.. that's why she got humbled twice
She got beat once, almost killed herself because she couldn't handle the humiliation and ran away to the WWE because she became too scared to keep fighting. Combine that with her obnoxious personality and there's plenty of reasons to not like her.
Then refused to stay in character and play the part. Shes truly a clown
Personal Opinion: She was a great fighter who developed an ego and became arrogant because she was undefeated and has since become a cowardly insecure woman who can't take criticism if it's not 100% positive.
That and the division was formed around her to capitalize on her
meaning she was never truly a fighter at heart.
Personal opinion here she’s a judo practitioner in a division that barely Figuring out who was good. judo never been good at any other division and never even contended for a belt prior to this her lacklustre abilities at anything else but the ground was her weakness. her greatest ability is to celify not be a fighter goat
she wasn't. She had a very basic but efficient skillset but had the chance to be there where women were not as skilled as they are now.
Ya go tell her that
I always thought how Ultra-Aggressive Ronda was at the weigh ins was over the top, and her handling of Miesha was just classless. It was fulfilling to see her lose to Holly
Say it again. 😆
Sounds like a certain little Irish dude lol
Meisha had her beat on the feet in their last fight. She was piecing her up... and she went for that unneeded take down rolled right into an arm bar
She thought she could be Floyd at one point but couldn't get out the way of holly jabs smh
her attitude Rhonda cocky arrogant she got humble just like all of us we think we are top dog until Covid hit pandemic recession inflation now we grateful for everything small or big
She had an armbar in a weak division and it proves timing is everything. If she had come along 5 years later she wouldn’t have even been a top 5 contender. She got lucky due to circumstance.
That's fair.
Man she had the cutest mean face ever!!! No intimidation at all. Just a angry face lil puppy. Jus adorable
Makes me wanna watch the Rousey/Holm fight...
As a matter of fact, I think I will
I liked the Nunes fight better “HEAD MOVEMENT!”
I watch it every 6 months or so for a lesson in humility.
I will bring the popcorn 🍿
That holm fight was humbling, but that nunes fight was absolutely humiliating lol.
I will never get tired of watching Ronda get her butt whooped by Holly 😂😂😂
I remember watching the season of TUF where Rousey coached opposite Tate, and being genuinely disappointed to see how arrogant and classless she was. I had been a fan before, so I knew she hated Tate, but she came across as really unlikable. I'm not one of those fans that think she was totally overrated, because her grappling skills were very legit, but the way she handled her losses only further solidified why many of her former fans abandoned her in droves.
I had exactly the same experience as you. Liked her until the TUF bit. And she was a supremly skilled grappler, but not much more than that. The ladies who fought her, never had any good game plans in my opinion and that's the only reason she succeeded so much.
Agreed
It was all a act, she was playing a character.
Ronda gave me a headache that season. I thought that could’ve been a classic season but she made it all about her every chance she got
@@floodwaters8887 well she should’ve picked a better character
Nunes was popping that big head of Rhonda's for 40 seconds. 😂
I still don't understand how so few people gave Holly Holm a chance, she's one of the greatest female boxers ever, at the time she was ranked first pound for pound, and she was undefeated in MMA. I remember watching some promo where Ronda said she would out strike Holly, as soon as she said that I bet on Holly, the odds were so good, I'm just disappointed I didn't go for a bigger bet.
I called that one, as soon as Ronda started to delude herself into thinking she was a good striker I knew she was going to try to prove it and get badly embarrassed going up against Holly, sure enough......
@@wesleypipes5673 yeah, exactly the same. She knocked a few chicks out and everyone started blowing smoke up her ass, no way she was on the same level of one of the GOATs
@@just9911 it was my first ever online bet, turned $30 into $639. Wish I did a bigger bet.
@@just9911 it was everyone blowing smoke up her ass as well as her own arrogance. I'm pretty sure at least 60 percent of all ufc fans aren't really fans of mixed martial arts in general let alone international combat sports at large. It pays to be informed on the the shit we bet on 🤣🤣🤣
She's the Royce Gracie of women's MMA. Dominant in the early days of the sport with a limited skill set, but as the sport/fighters evolved & improved she stayed the same & got dominated.

some people can not handle fame... she was one of those people
Some people use a loss as inspiration, and come back even better. Some crumble, and never get over it. Rousey will dwell on her losses forever, and because of that her leaving MMA was the best choice. Not just for her, but her fans as well. She can continue to look like a bad ass, and doesn't have to worry as much about getting seriously injured.
I LOVE Misha, she has more class than Rhonda. Rhonda was an early female fighter in the MMA. Rhonda did very well UNTILL Rhonda met Holly! At the weigh-in Rhonda disrespected Holly. That turned out to be a mistake especially when Rhonda wouldn't touch gloves with Holly! Holly is a First Class Act and very professional! Never gets old watching that head kick from Holly on Rhonda. Rhonda wasn't a Boxer she was a one trick pony with the arm bar, that's all she had. Holly DESTROYED Rhonda and gave her a BIG dish of HUMBLE PIE.
"HEAD MOVEMENTTTTT" God bless Holly
And Holly got beat more than once fool and unlike you dummies Rhonda is rich.
She decided to quit when she lost to Holms. That turned me off, you can't expect to win all the time. Had she went back and trained for a rematch I would see her in a different light. I don't watch WWE so could care less about her going there. She's also not a good actress...
Then…after the loss.. she wouldn’t talk for ONE SOLID YEAR!!! What the hell was that? This is MMA, it’s not all about her win/loss record.
@@royscott9162 Yeah real champions avenger losses and get the bill book look at GSP only two losses but came back stronger And beat the people who he lost to that man’s a real champion
She didn't quit.
Her management let her go.
Also she lost sponsors and don't want to spend money on a 3 times loser back to back.
Her bad attitude is what made people quit on her.
Her arrogance is why made her fall.
That's what happens when you think so highly of yourself that others are rejoicing when you're gone.
I won't be surprise on the day she leaves this earth the only one that goes to her funeral are the priest and possibly her parents and whoever marries her.
She leave behind a really bad legacy.
I don't remember her as a good fighter.
I just remember her as an arrogant person who can punch, that's all.
It's I "couldn't care less" not "I could care less" 🤦🏼♂️
Yeah then she guilt tripped holly for breaking her jaw, even though she’d gladly injure someone else herself.
Seeing those clips again I can't believe that Ronda ever deluded herself into thinking she was a good striker.
Being undefeated fed her ego she didn't have real competition til Holly
Ronda was a great fighter, but she thought she could defeat expert strikers due to a couple of lucky knockouts and one year of boxing school. Holly had thrown as many leg kicks for every sprawl Ronda did as a judo player.
Rondas ego is on another level lol.
Thinks she's the best if the best, but sadly for her - she ain't
She was a one trick pony who got demolished as soon as some real competition came onto the scene. That Ellen interview after Holly embarrassed her showed who she really is and she is weak.

Rousey managed to duck Cyborg nearly her entire career in Strike Force and the UFC. It's good she lost the title so fast. A true champion would never do that.
Nunes didn't duck cyborg tho. She ran thru her..and Rousey...and Holm ..and tate
Cyborg is on 1000 PEDs
Rousey made many mistakes but there is no shame in ducking Cyborg in that time where she was juiced to the grill and apparently started a trend with it.

@richardguest4574 of course he will be seen as a hater by anyone that was dumb enough to be a fan of hers. She was arguably the most overrated "great" mma fighter OF ALL TIME!!!! All she had was her judo. Her "striking" looked like a fuckin Muppet's arms, just kinda flailing forward. Once Dana couldn't protect her anymore and feed her tomato cans, she immediately got exposed.
Sometimes it’s how people handle a loss that shows their true character.
9:24 small quibble. Cyborg has most definitely been popped at least once in her career for use of banned substances
She was pushed to the top by Dana white. Avoiding anyone that would beat her in the beginning. Finally she had no choice and was exposed.

The same a Lesnar. He basically used wrestling logic and just pushed em up the card while avoiding anyone that could beat em early. Lesnar lost his first fight and was STILL fighting for the championship like 5 fights later. That's all that bullshit.
I enjoyed the Holm vs Rousey fight alot !
Me toooooooo! That head kick was amazing
I have to agree with the headline here. Ronda was fighting girls who were even worse than her. Which made her look better than she was. She was the best of a bad bunch. One thing to remember about TUF is editing. A number of people on the show have talked about how the editing made them look worse then they actually were. And why does everyone overlook how Tate acted. Dana asked them to not do pranks and Rousey did not even though Tate did several pranks.

Holly Holmes will forever be the Queen for kicking the shit out of Rhonda that night.
I think her downfall did have to do with overconfidence, no doubt. But I also think she lost focus. Instead of properly training, she was dividing her time between fighting and Hollywood.
She also didn't listen to her mother who told her to drop her awful coach.

It honestly depends. Some grapplers will win, some strikers will win. If you can't beat the speed of a boxers hands, why do people train grappling, muay Thai, etc?

Those were the good ol days Rhonda was outstanding till the real fighters showed up
I blame her coach and her mom. On TUF, every time conflict arose, Tate stood her ground while Ronda, the supposed baddest woman in the business, ran and got her coach to back her up (Which exposed her insecurity and revealed just how much he had her wrapped around his thumb) Then came the segment where her mom psyched up one of the fighters by saying "Your child is behind you, your opponent is in front of you. You gonna let him get to your child?" which to me, says Ronda went out of her way to vilify her opponents because that's what she was taught to do to get her head in the game. But she was never taught how to handle it if the "Bad guy" won
I always hoped Miesha would somehow be able to beat Rousey but it was a nightmare matchup for Miesha. In fact, come to think of it, most of Rousey’s opponents were much smaller than her except for Holm.
Ronda was way over hyped because they were trying to create popularity for women fighters which they did, but as soon as she faced a real fighter she was crushed. I think she just had the right look she is that middle ground between cute and tough looking so she had wide appeal that could pull in strong women and pigs. The UFC always tries to build people up and protect them so I think its fitting she went to the WWE. It's like Dana said if you want to see good fights watch your local fighters.
It’s funny that Conor could say “overrated” when all he ever was is a standup guy, the very moment anybody ever was on the ground most of the time would take his ass down with them (diaz and nurmagomedov being the example) and with him being an elite striker he never decided to train on the ground
once she lost her mind wasnt strong enough to believe in herself or a return to form with the right mindset... she coulda not only returned but won more belts maybe fight still. she did whats best for her tho if she didnt wanna be there anymore then she shouldnt... when you go from dominants easy wins to, now ppl have an answer and 2 dominant losses it can break some ppl. broke her s far as her confidence in the octagon.
Rhonda's stand up was as funny as Bill Burr
She play fights now.. It's all scripted. She was an obnoxious winner and an even worse loser.
Do I believe she had talent? Yes I do. UFC wouldn't have backed her otherwise, but when you act like a jerk and can't handle a loss without sabotaging yourself you don't belong in that ring. Athletes lose eventually. I have never heard of one who hasn't. How you handle a loss shows your character.

@@Walshyb72 Assuming you correct and he never lost even in a sparring match then that is extremely rare. Both luck and talent play a part in it if they do succeed.
@@Walshyb72 again sparring and practice can make losses. You heard the part about me saying I didn't hear about someone in the first place? Don't be a jerk and ignore someone's statement. I think everyone was happy to see ronda lose to holly because of her arrogance and lack of humility as a team player. Obviously she was undefeated and being a woman in that ring makes a difference and she got an ego so big it wasn't until she lost that she finally hit rock bottom in a sense. Fighting and winning is who she thought she was it was her identity to the world and once she lost she also lost sight of who she was but being an amazing athlete isn't who you are its what you do and I think now being a wife and a mother has changed her. She was still the best in her time.
It looks ike she has found herself and is happier now that fighting and winning isn't her personality
I was and is still a fan of Cyborg. Always thought she was really good.
I was never really a Ronda Rousey fan. Something about her bugged me, now I know exactly why.
Ronda opened the door for a lot of women, and her arrogance might be excused as showmanship. But when the sport caught up to her, she handled it very badly and it's easy enough to understand why people don't respect her.
Rousey got all the praise of being “the baddest woman on the planet” when it has been, and still is, a title better suited for Valentina Shevchenko.
makes me laugh out loud every time I hear her Rousey referred to as the "baddest woman on the planet"

I always love watching roda rousey getting knocked tf out, makes me smile every time I watch them... Answer to the question, flash in the pan that caught at the opportune time
Ronda perfected the angry toddler face on an adult.
😀😄Yup
She was possibly the most weak minded mma fighter and never gave any respect to her opponents. She was very similar to Conor. Both were massively popular by casuals while the real mma fans generally disliked them. Anyway I think Rhonda losing earlier in her career might have helped her out. She never had those losses and it made her head blow up to massive heights.
when mcgregor calling someone overrated LMFAO ICANT i guess khabib killt his last brain cells
Rousey telling anyone that '' They're playing a persona '' is hilarious XD
To call her jaw glass would be an insult to glass
She wasn't a all-time great when you consider female MMA caught up and surpassed her skills quite quickly. Ali took some losses in the late 70s and 80s, but he also was capable of winning fights even when his skills were well behind the 8ball. Prime Ronda would have a losing record today.
No way in hell did I hear Cyborg say “set me up with McGregor” did I? Lol
Regardless of what people say she had her time is passed now in a new career she still making a nice bag while the others after they stop fighting what are they going to do to make the amount that she's making now
Say what you want to say about professional wrestling you still have to have talent and the skill set to do it on that level
The reason Ronda didn't "come out blitzing like her last few fights" is because her previous opponents were idiots and charged right into Ronda's grappling. Why would they do that? Dumb coaches. Holly was smart. She cut angles, tagged her coming in, and made her desperate. Ronda couldn't adapt, and got exposed.
Ronda was unprepared to go at that pace for more than one round. She charged straight in. Zero head movement. Cut no angles. Never changed levels. When she got hands on she went straight for a takedown instead of improving her position first. Holly made her look like an amateur.
I wouldn't say Ronda was or is a all time great. Talented yes and a fighter for sure. I think her ego got the best of her, which was already enlarged before people hyped her up. She fell into the hype, she ate it up like your favourite ice cream never really stepping back from stuff and reflecting that one day, a loss would arrive and to keep her wits about her. She believed her own hype, nothing wrong with confidence but being humble is also something she never quite learned in sportsmanship when you are at top of the hill, because as slow or quickly you make it up the hill, it can take less then a minute to fall off it. When she crossed into wrestling and dissed the business this didn't sit well with me, also her attitude towards UFC women, Misha and Holly especially. It suited Ronda to join WWE to get paid then dissed people who worked their arse off in that area. Now she is back as 2faced as they come for another pay check after slagging off the business and the women in the WWE. That is why I can't quite take to Ronda. She just doesn't seem genuine. Compared to the others in UFC and women in WWE, something really seems off with Ronda. She's all smiles when things go her way, but a snake 🐍 ready to strike when you least expect it when it doesn't. I am sure there is a nice side to her, but I like people to be straight, not having to watch my back to see if a dagger has been thrown after they just hugged me. This is the vibe and energy I get from her. How she hated Misha in UFC was absolutely ridiculous, uncalled for and not very sportsmanship like.
Ronda needs to recognise someone always loses and wins. Hopefully being in WWE has finally teached her that, as matches are scripted but injuries that occur and real life heat are not.
Ronda's comments on wrestling is scripted she was a heel or about to turn heel when she said it of course you're not supposed to like
