I stayed at base with family in 70's. We spent night in visiting officer quarters. Very nice. Kitchen came with liquor, pots, pans etc. Impressed me at time Good to see how it has grown.

I was stationed at Kessler in the 80s. All I can say is wow! It was a nice base then but really nice now.

I’m so glad I came across your video on YT we will be stationed here in October all the way from Colorado. My husband went here first tech school ages ago now it seems but I, myself has never been here let alone Mississippi. So nervous but SO excited for our next chapter. There is a third gym at the Dragon Fitness Center, at least while I was stationed there between 1997-2008.

No don’t get in the water 🤢. I always wondered when when we first got here while we always had the beach to ourselves there was no one on it no one in the water now we know why there’s like flesh eating bacteria in the water and it’s just gross water. So now, when we go to the beach, we always wear shoes and walk on the sand Il just say it’s pretty to look at 😍

They bring in sand from Florida to cover the muck, water is contaminated. Better beaches in Gulf Coast Alabama and Florida! Good base tho!
