'7 Little Johnstons': Liz Johnston Gets CANDID On Pregnancy & Motherhood

- Liz Johnston is shedding light on her motherhood journey! Access Hollywood spoke to the "7 Little Johnstons" star all about her experience as a parent to 6-month-old daughter Leighton Drew, including her birth story, the infant's recent milestones and some of the treasured memories from the first half year of life. The TLC star also shared how Leighton takes after both her and Brice Bolden and gave an update on her and Brice's relationship, including their next goal together - and if they'd ever expand their family! Plus, Liz gushed over how her parents have embraced grandparenthood and reflected on her decision to wait to tell them about her pregnancy. "Truthfully, looking back on it, I'm constantly reminded for when baby No. 2 in the future comes, I'm just going to tell them right off the bat," she said. "7 Little Johnstons" airs Tuesdays at 10/9c on TLC.

I also didn’t like anyone to touch our babies and the first thing they do is touch their hands then the germs go right to the mouth. You’re a great mom keep up the good work. I was a phlebotomist & I’ve drawn blood on many babies. In my experience, the babies that interact right away are very very smart!!!!!! It’s the babies that don’t make eye contact and have no interaction is a red flag and concerning! A happy healthy baby will be able to interact and respond to their immediate family very quickly. So I’m saying if this baby is doing things early it’s a good sign she’s really smart & will be leading the pack. Mark my words!!!!!

I am so glad you and Brice are back together but confused why you moved back home, Your parents seem very controlling considering you r an adult now. I can totally understand why you waited to tell your parents about being pregnant, they seem very judgemental. I got pregnant with a special needs baby at 24 and wasn't married and was afraid to tell my parents and waited four months too.

It's so funny how parents think so differently, my parents believed husband & wife first & children second. If u don't prioritize ur marriage & the children grow up & move out u need that solid bond/connection with ur spouse. My parents didn't get empty nest syndrome buz they enjoyed one another's company separate from my brother & I while growing up & my dad treated my mom like a queen & vice-versa, it was the best example to witness growing up. I've noticed that the marriages who put their children first r more likely to have separated & the mom doesn't know who she is outside of being a mom. POV

I was waiting for this episode and was so devastated for Elisabeth …the pressure her mom put on her and controlling every aspect…🤔😓 formula for parent alienation and confusion for the child and parents growing as parents the over stepping is a step backwards for growth ..she’s not an addict
I agree,and with them now back I her parents home,amber is going to go into full take over and control mode. I understand why jonah tried delta 8,mind you the over reactions from his controlling parents...anyone would think that the poor lad was a full blown crack addict. Whilst one should guide and give advice to one's children,amber takes the biscuit and her overly domineering,controlling her behaviour will backfire...its not healthy and they will keep things from them and be secretive which is the last thing that you want your children to do....as you can tell I am not a fan of the woman I think she's vile
Just stop judging please! I think Amber has been great and both her parents have been very supportive which a lot of parents would’ve been so mad and kicked thier kids out. Sometimes you just need to accept this is Liz’s parents and if she reads these comments it’s hurtful. She loves her parents which listening to Liz she’s been thankful.

That time Jonah took those drugs he called Trent and his dad was immediately there and they’ve been trying to help him overcome his issues. There are a lot of parents that let their kids go and could care less what happens to them. My daughter is a school teacher and she gets intouch with parents when she’s having problems with one of her students and they do nothing. This is the world we live in now. Very sad 😢

Wow, once again Liz completely leaves Anna out. Not one nice word about how Anna and Leighton are together. This family really takes the cake. Trent and his sister are the only two that pay any mind to Anna. Trent's sister always has an uplifting comment for Anna. It would be fine with me if they didn't show Liz and Amber in any of the episodes.

@@CarlaRosales-vw2wx I watched tonight's episode and one of the girls made a comment of "Anna is going to be the crazy aunt" just because she miss read a word that was on a onesies cause they went baby shopping for Leighton. I don't know if you watched tonight's episode but it was very clear that Amber has very shallow thoughts about Leighton average size. She wanted her to be a little person and was upset that she wasn't. While Trent explained things and went on to say it didn't matter what her size was as long as she was healthy. Amber clearly is taking control over the baby even though she wasn't born yet. No wonder Jonah turned to a drug, Alex still having spoiled and clingy behavior, Liz is bossy-acts like she knows it-cant see any flaws in herself, Anna is a golden child, I'm not sure about the girl. @@lyndaabrahamson3244WOW unbelievable! Now Liz will read these. Amber was worried about the delivery as she should. When an LP has a baby it’s not easy on the mom and Liz was very high risk. Plus they didn’t know the baby wasn’t a LP on the last episode. All that will come out in the next season.
