      I'm here this evening, so there'll be a herd of blacklisted covert ops showing up shortly y'all brace yourself for abusive speech, behavior, etc. But I am determined to make a sustainable income even if they are.

    What do you think about , a RV I have access to one ,,, to save money on hotels, and food with tow behind, vehicle,, use the RV as the base Camp / office, and use the tow behind as the claims workhorse.

    Yes , with high end equipment , such as a high end droid , and FAA license.

    So I am just starting my journey and found your channel and watching through all your videos. I did have a question on the hotel thing for the induction. You said as soon as you get the go, call and book you a hotel at the induction site, how long should you book that one for? I know for the actual deployment you went into more detail, so I got that one. Just wanted to see if we should book for a day or week or what, because with that many people coming in, they might not let you extend your stay if you don't book long enough.

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  Před 2 lety

      Generally you can cancel a reservation day-of or 24 hours out so I would reserve it for a week and then plan on canceling as soon as I needed to. Be sure to look at the fine print because sometimes the reservations can be non-cancelable.

  • @tranquilityrules

    I hope ya just leave phone off till thru with client and do you initiate visual voice mail on your service ? Betcha that would be helpful.

      Regarding ladder assist q ... can it predominantly be done by drone assist instead of ladder to roof
      walking roof ? macrolense on the drone for roof ?

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  Před 3 lety

      Yes, definitely leave your phone off or in the car. Carriers dictate if we can use drones or not so it's not always up to us if we use them.

    how is the pay system work, is it net 30 or net 60? Is it as soon your claim is closed?

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  Před 2 lety

      Depends on the firm. The big established firms will put your invoice into payroll as soon as it clears QA and closes. These days, you should be able to get 60% of the invoice.

    How long does a "hurricane deployment last"?

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  Před 2 lety

      Shortest is a couple weeks.. but 6-8 months or even up to 18-24 months is not unheard of, depending on a number of factors.

    Dude : re, partner ... what about 1 doing claim onsite but 1 at home synchronized with primary computer who is already making dictation notes in between on appointment to next, and on partner at home doing filing with that synchronized computer account and dictation notes in place as well as photos logged. Could see 12 claims "?" a day with primary agent signing off after reviewing the files that evening ? And what is the current status of ai in this formulation have you researched it's impact and efficiencies for this industry ?

    • @AdjusterTV
      @AdjusterTV  Před 3 lety +1

      AI is making inroads in object recognition - that is, Xactware is developing AI so that an insured or an adjuster can stand in the middle of a room and wave their phone around and the phone will provide measurements, a diagram, AND a complete contents list with prices.
      You can try to science the claims process but the simple fact is that a person needs to do a few deployments themselves to get their brains wrapped around the workflow. Then it starts to become clear where things can be outsourced. At first glance, people think that estimating and scoping are that place - but experienced adjusters will tell you that they spend almost as much time on the phone as they do in the field and having a dedicated person to just take care of phone work will move the needle as much or even more than hacking the claims process.

      She can. But if you want her to take calls and do admin work she'll probably need a license and/or carrier cert.
