(May 23, 2022) The return of steam on the Waterloo Central Railway

Last year, Waterloo Central Railway's 0-6-0 #9 returned to steam after a boiler inspection, many railfans were out on this beautiful day to see the old girl strut her stuff. This was taken over the course of the day during the two runs it made.

CP 1238 will be returned to operation with # 9. Same w sister 1286

@@Coffee_Rail11121238s sale will be used to help restore sister 1286. Sad to separate them but for the better good for operations. Also, having a large steam locomotive like 1238 or larger can be better revenue for commerce
