This is a video about atoms and atomic structure that is specifically for people who are taking the TEAS exam. We cover all of the relevant information that is most important for the TEAS 7 Chemistry section, such as atoms, elements, and subatomic particles (protons, neutrons, and electrons) along with their mass and charge. We discuss the structure of the atom (the nucleus in the middle and the electrons around the outside), as well as energy levels and shells and valence levels and valence electrons. Finally, we discuss orbitals, electron clouds, and spdf, and why they're not very important for the TEAS. There are a number of TEAS 7 Chemistry practice problems throughout the video.
Your chemistry videos got me and my friends through undergrad chemistry nearly 12 years ago. Legend!
Extremely inspiring he is the best teacher anyways
It's been almost 8 years since I've passed my high school all because of you thank you so much sir 💙
This video randomly came in my feed. I have seen tyler's videos when all felt lost. It has been years and he has grown a beard wow. One word: legend
Hope you find my comment. Loving your way of teaching Your channel has proved extricator for me. I found this channel at my University level and i am clearing my basics. Really desirful to take physical classes from you.Your explaination on one side and giving an excellent analogy is quite interesting.
There is one change you are now look so serious .Hope you find this comment
Please also remain active on other social media. You know what thing make your teaching attractive ! your humbleness.
Love from Pakistan 🇵🇰
Wow.... eagerly waiting for your post. Hats off. I will pray, my beloved MASTER grace you with immense wisdom and compassion.
Had been eagerly waiting for your videos for years! Please do continue to upload the videos and God Bless You 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
THE BEST CHEMISTRY TEACHER,THANK YOU.
I have an advanced degree in this, watch it to enjoy how well and clearly you explain , differently than books, teachers and profs something is really wrong with the educational system
Excellent explanation.Thanks again.
It's my humblest request that you kindly make a video on naming organic compounds. It's really a challenge to find an effective one at the moment.
This would greatly assist my students preparing for their csec exam in a few months.
Much thanks in advance.
🙏
Thanks so much Tyler. 🙏. I have been sharing your videos with my students for quite some time now to further enhance their understanding. 😊
Profoundly grateful.
I love this guy. My CH-140 teacher is terrible and talks to us like we are 6 years old whenever comes up. This guy actually help me learn
this is a great video
Dr. DeWitt, thank you so much for this video. You are so right the Teas makes it so confusing and intimidating, you can explain things in such a simple way that one can actually enjoy learning !
finally he's back!❤️
Such great information in these tutorials. They've helped me for years.
I just discovered you have a Teas playlist- you helped me many many years ago get through chemistry and now here I am prepping to go back to school for nursing! I have to admit this is a bit of nostalgia for me and I'm happy to see you still teaching ❤
Oh God 🙏😭✌️I am at a point where chemistry is soo challenging for me...... But you really help me to have hope that I can still do better.... Your videos 💕❤️♥️you are a life saver
Great job mr tyler.....your videos helped me out a lot✍️
I’ve been watching your videos because I believe you’re the best educator alive !!!!
:O bro is back!
Love your videos . Keep making these videos
He made this so easy to understand! Thanks sir!
Thank you so much for dumbing this down! It’s so helpful!
I love your videos. My 7th graders really benefit from your Chemical Equations video.
I really appreciate your work man!
Due to your chemisty video,i pass test with great marks thanks you
thank you very much Sir, your exceptional explanation and visuals truly stand out.!! I will tell my niece about your channel.
Do a video abot electronic configuration
You helped me pass chemistry classes in highschool 9 years ago now im gonna use ur videos to help me for the Teas 7 😅
Really , I like your lecture
HES BACK
Omg I love u for thisss ❤
Hello Taylor, you are doing a great job, I just wanted to ask you haven't made any video about polymers actually I need to prepare a topic on polymer solution and blends and thermodynamics of them. If you made a video on the topic it would be highly appreciated, Regards 😊
I remember when u didnt have a beard anyways i just wanted to thank you for helping me finish igcse i know am doing chemical engineering finishing my 2 year
Please make a video on colligative properties of solutions
Super!!!
Please make a video on MOT (Molecular Orbital Theory)
Please upload a video of MOT (molecular orbital theory)
Hi Tyler, do you have any downloadable resources for the teas chemistry podcasts, like you do for the different podcasts you did on cells and DNA?. Those were a huge help!
Please make a video on coordination compounds
Please!!!
Great work sir, you are my favourit teacher
I kinda love you. Thank you
Shout out to Mr.Tyler DeWitt who saves me everytime when I'm stuck..
Please can you make a new videos for igcse chemistry 2024 syllabus I didn't understand from anyone chemistry before thank you for your effort
Hello Taylor,
So the max number of valence electrons is the same as their number on the very outer energy level, but not all of them must participate in a bond formation, like CO and CO2 ?
Can electrons form the prior numbered level also participate in the bond formation ? Thanks !
WHERE WERE YOU
Please make a new update for the chemistry syllabus for igcse o level chemistry
0:00 electron is massless?
electrons aren't massless. they just have such a small mass, it can be considered to be negligible in this case
why the protons have positive charge and electrons have negative?
Please help in my high school chemistry.
Sir Great you too baby 🍼🍼 10 class chemistry
Brilliant😂
Pls I love you
