- We finally were able to get to this site and LOVED it. We brought our stand up paddle boards and mountain bikes for the first time. Taking the SUP boards was just as amazing as we thought it would be.

I recognize the lake but wont mention any names. Used to pick chanterelle and matsutake mushrooms there 23 years ago when I was working around the Crescent lake/Chemult area. They usually start popping around mid September until the snow starts. Awesome spot. Also lots of wild blueberries and huckleberries there in late August.

That road has simply gotten worse over the past few years...was back up there myself this summer and the difference was noticeable from my first time getting up in there. Meals looked awesome...Yumm sauce is a great idea, might have to add that to the kitchen next trip. Looks like you got some beautiful weather and I can't believe how glassy the lake was!

HAHAHAH!!!! That look at 1:32, I know that look! I've had that look! Nice that you had the place to yourself. All the lakes I know Became a LOT more crowded during Covid. Hopefully people will forget about nature once Covid passes and I can have my spots back to myself again.
