- Motul 7100 10W40 engine oil is most popular for a decent performance upgrade for the TVS Apache 200 and 160 4V. For the past few months after getting the oil, I rode for 6,500 km in mixed riding conditions. 4,000 km on the highway and 2,500 km of regular usage. Here's my observation on the same !

You did not talk about the gear shift experience. Did your gear shifting experience change in any way?
I didn’t mention gear shift experience because my chain sprocket was done before I shifted to motul. A bad chain makes the gear shifts hard. So it won’t be fair to judge .
Don't even look at this product gear shifts...it's literally a shitt...for 1st 1000 kms..this is good..but after that...trust me..this gear shifts are rough..pretty rough...sometimes I have to press 2 times ...to go for one shift....it just heats up the engine like hell.
i have used 10w 40 in my apache 200 when i used it, it felt really normal and okish, but when i have went back to 10w30 i felt 10w40 was way better at heat management and others things which mentioned in video

Is oil ko 200 4v me use karne ke bad winters m self starting problme hui thi ,bcz pehle m tvs ka 10w30 oil use kr rha tha ,m pahado me rehta hu ,extreme winters me start hone ke liye 3 se 4 self lagte the ,jabki tvs ke oil m eak he self m start ho jati thi ,baki sab bdiya hai
bhaiya bahut man hai aapse milne ka, shuru se aapse juda hu. kismat hogi to milege.

Very informative, thank you. What about this oil in low ambient temperatures ? Do the manufacturers publish the viscosity change over the range of temperatures encountered. There used to be a Tribological Society which provided information for industrial applications, though I am not aware for auto sector.
The viscosity figures were mentioned for 2-3 temperature points in the data sheet as far as I remember.

Bro what was your experience between motul 10w40 vs 10w50?
Brother after this video i changed my oil to motul 10w40. But there was a huge loss of just 1500 km around km... 300-500 ml

Used both the oil Castrol as well as motul . Experience can be different from user to user and different types of bikes. Try both of the oil .
I had bad experience with Castrol within first 3-400 km. Motul is far better

I am using this oil on my 160 4v from last 15K KM.. You are right ki fast 200-300KM bahat bekar lagta hai fir uske baad Smooth and gear shift v bahat achha..
Mey 4500KM interval pey change karta hun Soo mujhe 1100ml drain out hota hai per mey risk nehi lena chahta hun soo 4500 pey change kar deta hun..
Long ride ke liye best hai mere bike aram se 90 tak cruise kar sakte ho.. and mileage mereko @80 speed 48-50 milta hai ON NH and city pey 45 around..
Agar koi city ride karta hai toh ye oil use maat kijiye bekar lagta hai city mey kam se kam 20KM tak bekar lagta hai uske baad smoothly chalta hai.

Bhai when Viscosity of the engine oil increases heating should be reduced right??
Not necessarily. With higher viscosities the oil pump has to work harder to pump the oil to the different parts of the engine. This is especially noticable when jumping from 10w40 to something much heavier like 15w50.
But in my experience with my friends' RTRs (both carb and fi) 10w40 was indeed better if you ride hard.

've never used 7100 as of now,
but I used yamalube 10w40 no heat , no vibration, no engine noise & ur crusing speed will increase. But u need to wait some time to engine heat up
10W40 because I go on long rides. It keeps the engine super smooth at high speeds
Motul k engine oil me evaporation ka issue hai aap kisi bhi bike me use kar lo. Hamesha check me rakhna padhega. And that is the only reason I am using liquimoly. Its a bit costly than motul but evaporation ka koi issue nahi hai

How do you compare with previously used Motul 10W50 vs now 10W40 ?
10W50 is not meant for RTR.
10W40 is the best balance and the engine feels free

Just one thing regarding oil grades - some manufacturers have a graph of ambient temperature vs oil grade (for eg. My 2016 Gixxer was advised 20w for 40c+ and 10w below that).
Regarding oil level reduction, it is a mixed bag with the 7100 and 300V. On some bikes it "vaporises" on long and hard rides.
On FZ25 atleast (I know around 8-9 of them using it) levels don't reduce with both 10w40 and 10w50.
Try Motul 10w 30 ESTER Engine Oil. You will forget others.
Mere bhi 200 4v same bike hai, new only 8000 km solaya hai,, engine heating sal rahi hai,, same 7100 4T 10W-40 oil logaya hai fhir bhi heating ho rahi hai after 10-15 km salne se.🤔

10w 40 oil quickly evobrate in my rtr 200 bs6, then i use 20w 50 its not evobrate, actually bike high heat producing😢
Don’t use 20W50. Go for max 10W40 grade over the stock oil
@@kmperhrvlogs yes bro, i know, but bike over heating, pulser 220f and apache 200 its almost same oil coolin engine, pulser recommend oil for 220 20w50,, many apache 200 bike engine head problem, its main resion tvs 10w30 engin oil
