I'm using castrol power 1 Ultimate in my bs4 X blade.. Acceleration is just superb, refinement is great. Have used Motul in Honda bs3 160cc..it is good... But castrol I feel does better.

Depends on the bike type, If the bike has high RPM then 10W40 is better in terms of wear protection. If more power is there like RE, then 10W50 or 15W50 is better.

RE commends 15W 50 semi synthetic oil for Classic 350 BS6. So far we have tested 4 brands on RE Classic 350.

7100 4T 20W50 is recommended for 220cc bikes.
because 220cc bikes require fully synthetic oils to get Performance and Power

Another update done 37 k on my Gixxer...just got another oil change with 7100. Despite me riding hard average has been around 50 kmpl.So Kudos to 7100 for this too.

Thanks for the video, sir I have pulsar N160, and I use bajaj's recommended oil. But too much of engine heating is occurring. Few recommended to change engine oil, but I heard that Bajaj engine life reduces on using other oil. I am in confusion, could you please suggest which is better for engine for heat management.
Shell will be good for you. Engine life will not reduce.

I have mt 15 bs6 2021 model when I use motul i get best performance & high top speed but engine is heat more & less mileage then Castrol. Castrol also some disadvantaged I get best mileage upto 66kmpl in highway with mt15 2021 but my top speed is very less & engine heat is less then when I use motul.. .
I almost ride my bike 28+k in 1year 4 month
I prefer if riders want best mileage & smooth ride then go with Castrol but engine will little slow power.
If rider want only performance then go for motul , brutal power best high top speed with less mileage

I m not aware of your experianced mechanic. But most of the mechanic recommend oil brand which gives more commission to the mechanic. This is business. This is fact.
Check my videos , I have compared Shell, Castrol and Motul. Show the videos to your mechanic. If still he recomends Castrol for Yamaha FZ then he is doing a good business.
the price of motul and castrol of this segment are almost same nowdays. in 500+ rs u get the golden castrol semi synthetic.. if anyone want to cruise for highway for a tour go for castrol, if u want to tour trafic everything for a little bit more kms like 5000kms go for motul. this video is very informative.. but there is another thing engine cleanness. i have used motul 7100 20w50 and ride 1.25 lakh a palsar 150 model. the every particle every nut bolt inside engoine still shines but my friend use castrol semi for 15k and thn swith to castrol synth for 10k kms his clutch area is look like darkish brown which is not removed even by petrol. but the 7100 losse its quality after its shift to india ,, it has a disadvantage of evaporation after 2000kms in my new avenger 160 bs6.
Thanks for the details, In our test we dont check the engine quality. It requires a very long run test which we dont do.
Castrol is a big name now, It sells more because of its polularity not quality.

Oil temp means engine heating or only the temp of oil ?
I have fzs v3 bs4..after using 5100,7100, nd 300v shifted to Castrol power 1 ultimate... engine heats way lesser than motul 7100, also cooling was quicker...felt smooth performance than motul .. also significant increase in mileage..
Oil temperature means the temp of oil while the vehicle is running.
I am not aware of the data you generated but as per our reports Shell and Motul performs better than the Castrol Power 1.

Bi Saha bro, i have 2014 model karizma r model which engine was done with new piston and engine bore cleaning, mechanic filled up with Castrol and sure about grade ,so I driven 500 kms in45 - 50kmph speed for piston to set and changed Castrol sem synthetic 20w 50 grade oil, but my bike engine felt hard to breath and struggles to run , I immediately drained out the oil and changed motul sem synthetic 10w 40 grade now , but I can feel the smoothness and pickup after 50kms engine run only everytime , in high rpm I feel a lag and power drop there ...please suggest me an best best best engine oil for overall performance and milage and engine life ...I will use ur recommendation from next oil change for future.....please reply .....
hi, I too have a karizma. I use Shell 10W 40 mineral oil and change it btw 2500-3000 km depending on the ride condition. In case of long-distance rides, I change the oil a bit early.
If you have used fully synthetic oil before then go with Shell FS 10W40. Fully Synthetic oil is not recommended for old engines and engines which have no history of fully synthetic oil.

yes you can use. But better to use 10W30 as company has tested their vehicle on this grade. Recommended to use oil grade mentioned by the company.

Yes, you can use it but pickup might reduce. Also you have to compromise a bit with the fuel economy. It may heat up the engine too.

you change oil very early. If you are doing this then any branded oil will work. Mineral oil is enough for Jupiter.

I searched so many months for these type of analysis and caparsion because i am a two wheeler rider captain, i am doing daily nearly 100 km to 120 km uber captain, my honda unicorn 150 cc bs-4, company suggest 10w-30, and oil change of interval was just 3000 kms as per company instructions, it was completed in just 20 days, i faced so much cost once again please suggest which oil can I use

The company recommends Fully Synthetic 10W40 and its own brand Yamahaluble.
We have tested few brands of oil and Shell is the best so far.
